morning! am feeling a little more positive today, after a couple of "dark days", have loads to catch up on round the house, but am hoping to make soup and go for a walk.

have a good day

shinyshoes · 14/01/2009 11:02

Morning all,

I've had a sausage sandwich this morning and with the WW lasagne tonight with lots of salad I have about 9 points still for the day. So all is looking good. I won't take my purse to work because I will get tempted by the chippy next door otherwise.
hope everyone has a good day.

RGPargy · 14/01/2009 11:15

hi everyone.

I made a soup last night - exactly like the one that was posted on here, only different lol. I used carrots instead of spinach and it looks much more appetising!

Skiving off work today because DS finally got some work for this week and i said i'd take him there. We ended up getting slightly lost, which made me late so i missed the train. I phoned work and said that MIL was sick (she told me to!). Still, i dont think i'm going to be doing anything exciting other than housework. i was going to have a spin on the decks but i would feel guilty about the fact that you cannot see my floors for filth at the moment......

Hi Shiny.

Blimey, chippy next door? I'd be tempted too! We have one just up the road from us and that's bad enough!!

tis the takeaways with delivery that are my problem!

I have sweet potato, squash & lentil soup in the slow cooker, and have just had a gentle walk with the buggy round the village (1/2 hr maybe 45min). I feel SO much better than yesterday.

RG, was it you who has lost your taste for booze? how's that going? I seem to have too, but I suppose it could just be a not very nice wine

off to heat up left-over spag bol for lunch...

RGPargy · 14/01/2009 12:11

Glad you're feeling better Ria!

yes, it was me who lost their taste for booze. dont think i've drank much since either actually. I went shopping yesterday too and didn't buy any beers/wine etc. I think i would have if i had more money to shop with but i was on a budget so we couldn't really afford it yesterday (bring on pay day!).

i'm into vodka redbulls and smirnoff ices at the moment.

I used to live above an Italian restaurant. That was ... difficult.

not into spirits so I would be ok!

can't be bothered with this housework malarky though

RGPargy · 14/01/2009 13:02

me either Ria. i keep looking at the dirty floors and filthy carpets, then drifting back onto here and other forums etc. I've got to pick DD up at 2pm so i doubt i'll get any housework done really!

OP posts:
happynewRia · 14/01/2009 13:11

RGPargy · 14/01/2009 13:37

did anyone see extreme slimmers last night??

happynewRia · 14/01/2009 16:40

no harm in having an item of clothing as a goal jaz, mine is currently a snug size 22 skirt with embroidery and sequins on. Am hoping to wear it on my birthday in March.

RGPargy · 14/01/2009 20:26

Agree with Ria, it's good to have goals. Didn't see that programme tho.

Haven't done alot of tidying up, although i did do SOME tidying. My conscience is clear temporarily.

I finally sat down today to clear our paperwork and chucked out half a bin bag just need to get my head down and start catching up with book work. I did 40mins of pushingpram round woods so feeling virtuous tonight and indulging in gin. I am finding the food focus sight really good and seems to be doing the trick.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 14/01/2009 20:30

Goals is good, my first goal ist get to pre preg weight for DS and the DD.

happynewRia · 14/01/2009 21:12

I had too much bread with my soup and I feel sick

also have killer headache. early to bed I think.

happynewRia · 14/01/2009 21:37

I think I may be ill, I can't even face a glass of wine

RGPargy · 15/01/2009 10:28

GOOD GRIEF RIA!!! CALL THE MEDICS!!!!

Five - Our paperwork always builds up like that too. Shocking isn't it! No wonder our shredder conks out from overwork when we have a splurge once every 6 months!

happynewRia · 15/01/2009 12:06

LOL RG.

DH took me out for breakfast I stuck to SW principles as best I could

RGPargy · 15/01/2009 12:23

Ooo lovely! How come DH did that? Is it your birthday?!

Talking of birthdays... it's mine next Wednesday and when i dropped DD off at MIL's this morning, she asked if i was taking the afternoon off work. So i said that i was taking the whole day off and she said "oooo that's good, you can bring DD over whenever you like then, cant you?". I must have looked a bit puzzled because she then went on to mutter about did i have anything planned etc. Makes me wonder if DP is planning something that i dont know about? I doubt it and i dont want to get my hopes up in case i get all exciting on my birthday only to discover that it really was a mistake made by MIL lol!!
