Following on from ⭐️LOSE IT!⭐️ Slimmimg September 2025⭐️

⭐️OPEN TO ALL⭐️

Where did September go? There is a definite chill in the air some mornings now 🥶 I always feel when October is here it’s the start of the 12 week countdown to Christmas!

It’s never too late to make a change, to make a difference and feel confident in your body. To reach optimum health and vitality we need to focus not only on our food intake; but movement, mental health and sleep quality too!

Who doesn’t want to feel good and energetic as well looking great! Get on board to reset & refresh and become a healthier version of yourself.

These threads are for those who’d like to lose weight and those who wish to maintain whilst eating a healthy varied diet.

As no one size fits all, members need to follow their own way of eating. This thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

We generally have WOW (weigh on Wednesday) day each week. However post and share your progress as often or as little as you prefer. Do what works for you.

The important thing is not to think of it as a diet (based on deprivation and unsustainable) but more a way of life (sustainable & enjoyable).

I calorie count based on a lower carb Mediterranean diet. I intermittent fast and generally eat twice a day. Im a long time healthy eater and overall I’ve lost around 45lbs.

I’m mainly maintaining but I would like to get back into the 8’s 🤞(I briefly dipped into the 8’s last month but the scale showing 9st 1lb this morning)

Are you in😊 What food plan will you be following? What do you want to change and why?

New members … Give it a go; it’s never too late! You'll be pleased you did 😊

Happy wow.

I’m 2lbs up. Hopefully it’s mostly food weight and water.

LemonDrizzle23 · 15/10/2025 10:27

Well done to everyone WOWing. People are clearly getting on it for autumn!

Congrats on the house move @frostedshreddie - I hope the unpacking isn’t driving you too mad!

Happy birthday @socks1107! Enjoy the McDonald’s. I have a very weak spot for a McDonald’s has brown….

I managed to get out for a full length walk this morning for the first time in a week. But I’m avoiding WOW after a week ill in bed 😭 I will pluck up the courage next week…

wherewillwegoto · 15/10/2025 10:48

Just a tiny loss for me this week, down half a lb.

Jecstar · 15/10/2025 16:35

Down another 3/4 of a lb to 13st 2.25lb.

Really pleased with that and hope it is a true reflection not just an anomaly. Have kept up the lunchtime walk and tried really hard with stopping snacking in between meals.

FridayNighFeeling · 15/10/2025 19:37

Hi just checking in with all the WOW news. Some good stuff and happy birthday @socks1107 and happy new house @frostedshreddie

I am up a lb from my lowest, but I've also had a few snackidents and the combination of the colder weather and being in pain have meant less movement.

Will keep going as best I can. Osteo was very good/helpful, seeing them again next week and in the meantime doing my exercises too.

Poisonwood · 15/10/2025 20:23

Staying stable this week, am okay with that as lost last week. Had a really nice chicken salad tonight, added pomegranate seeds and lime zest which I don’t normally.

Fellsbells · 16/10/2025 07:53

I’ve put a pound on overnight. Hoping it’s just food and water and too much salt. I feel puffy and have a headache. Plenty of water and veg on the menu today.

frostedshreddie · 16/10/2025 08:25

Thank you @Emmadaily@LemonDrizzle23@FridayNighFeeling
We are all unpacked, now the decorating starts!!

Happy belated birthday @socks1107, hope you had a fab day.

Today I have a super busy day at work, and we get our food shops on a Friday so all I've found for breakfast this morning is a banana and an apple. Will buy lunch on the go, usually on busy days like today I tend to just grab a Huel. Not great when I am trying to stay away from processed but does the job.
Have mentally planned to do a workout when I get home, hoping I won't be too exhausted when the time comes!

Fellsbells · 16/10/2025 10:09

Probably going to check in here hourly to keep me on track today! Just looked and I’m 4lbs up in 5 days. I need to shed that asap.

socks1107 · 16/10/2025 10:59

Despite cake and wine my weight stayed the same today!
thanks for all the birthday wishes. I got a new kettle bell so looking fwd to trying that out later.

have a good day everyone! I’m not very good at replying to people personally but I always read and love your updates

Marshmellowbunny · 16/10/2025 12:17

@fellsbells How are you doing? Still checking every hour?

Eee so...I reached my first target today 🥳

9 stone 12.4 wooo.

As you all say though, I don't own being in the 9 stone bracket yet but yayyy. I haven't cried yet today either so I'm taking that as a NSV! 💪🏻

Hope you're all having a good week; nearly Friday! ☺️

PersistentRain · 16/10/2025 12:47

Well done @Marshmellowbunny

had a salty dinner so weight up today. I’ve lost about a stone so far but I won’t feel okay until I get the new one off, sick of looking fat in the gym.

Fellsbells · 16/10/2025 13:26

Happy birthday @socks1107

congratulations @Marshmellowbunny

going well so far. I had a pro biotic drink for breakfast. Made some cauliflower soup for lunch and ate 2 home made chicken nuggets for a bit of protein. Did a 5km walk as well so fingers crossed I don’t lose the plot at 5pm and inhale the biscuit tin.

TheRealHousewife · 16/10/2025 13:39

Good Afternoon ladies … apologies as I’ve been mia! Nothing exciting, just been busier than usual with appointments and life admin.

My WOW 9st 1lb 👍

Menu
Meal 1 - Vegetable soup. Mince chicken ginger chilli meatballs 😋
Meal 2 - Chicken tray bake with red pepper, carrots, cauliflower, garden peas.
Drunks - Tea, black coffee & water.

Just reading up on what you’ve all been up to ❤️

2lbs this week, so happy obviously! I am worried as this is back at the weight stalled at for a month but I’m lifting heavier weights and have dropped calories so hoping that these changes keep the scale moving.

it’s my birthday today so starting with a calorie counted Macdonalds breakfast on my way to work!

A Big Belated Happy Birthday @socks1107 🥳 I hope you had a ball!

A belated welcome to the thread @Vapeaddict although I’m sure you’ve received a warm welcome from our ladies already. In regards to hair loss/thinning I had quite a lot of shedding approximately 4-5 months after being on the fast800 way of eating for a while. I really can’t do anything under 1000 - 1200 cals a day without risking it returning. I occasionally do OMAD but never more than once a week. I don’t drink my calories (alcohol, pop etc), I don’t add sugar to my diet, eat minimally processed foods and prep from scratch when able. I prioritise protein, fibre, healthy fats and a huge variety of nuts, seeds, legumes, vegetables and berries. The one thing that lets me down is lack of exercise although I do what I can. I should mention I’m petite, small framed and disabled so my numbers won’t be the same for someone taller, fitter and generally more active. Good luck 👍

Thank you @PersistentRain & @Fellsbells

It's been very helpful to see this as a lifestyle change and allow myself to go crazy once in a while without feeling guilty! Who knows how long it'll last. I genuinely feel better after 2 days of medication...but it can't help that quick, can it? Idk.

@TheRealHousewife your food always sounds so good. Sorry if it's been asked before but there's been a lot of posts 😂🙈 but how tall are you if you don't mind saying?
I'm just thinking about next targets and your 9.1 sounds pretty gooood!

TC2023 · 16/10/2025 13:56

Hi everyone, just checking in, forgot to yesterday.

This weeks weight 73.2kg.

SW: 74kg
TW: 65kg

Thats nearly 2 pounds down so cant really complain. Need to up my water intake and start walking more to try and up this weight loss a but :)

Well done to everyone!!

TheRealHousewife · 16/10/2025 14:14

@FridayNighFeeling Im loving those wentworth puzzles; thank you for sharing!

Belated welcomes to @TC2023 @Shego @Jecstar @Alwayslearning25

@Determinedloser I sometimes roast my veg, especially if the ovens are already on. If not I fry them off with the onions & garlic before adding stock, pulses & beans. I love a good soup and almost always have some stocks/soups in the freezer when not able to make them.

@LemonDrizzle23 I cheering for you to reach your October goal 👏 You’ve done marvellously over the long term! PS How’s your cold? I hope you’re feeling better! x

@Fellsbells I like the term ‘calorie dodgers’ 😅 Sorry you’re having a gaining blip … fingers crossed it’s soon off again!

@Poisonwood Your menu on 12/10/25 sounds right up my street! 😋

@LegoTherapy Well done on reaching 54.65kg 👏👍

I’m pleased to see @frostedshreddie and @CinnamonSweet73 jumping back on it 😬 You can do it!

Thank you! & Hmm I'm 5'2/3 on a good day!! 😂

9.1 will probably be impossible. I think I'll go with 9.5!

frostedshreddie · 16/10/2025 19:23

Happy to report my lunch was an M&S Meal Deal which was a hoisin duck wrap, pot of chopped apple and a still water. I'm quite proud of that as normally I would go for fizzy pop and a flapjack/chocolate related snack.

I also had 2 Kallo rice cakes with cottage cheese and seeds on top, and slices of red pepper as my snack when I got home.

Also happy to report I completed my workout when I got home 💪🏻 25 mins tabata completed. Had a lot more energy compared to the AM workouts!

Tonight will be veggies mixed with rice and beans for dinner. Successful day I would say 🤩

tryingtobesogood · 16/10/2025 20:24

I’m going to join, I’m moving from the weight loss injection threads as I’ve decided to stop taking the jabs. There’s lots of reasons, but mainly the low level side effects really and very slow losses.

So after 6 months I am going to use weight watchers to help me keep the momentum going.

SW: 17St 4lb
CW: 15st 1.5lb
TG: 11st 7lb

my focus is protein and fibre and upping my exercise. I’m excited to see how I get on.

socks1107 · 16/10/2025 20:39

@tryingtobesogood welcome to the thread! I’ve been here since January and we’re a lovely supportive bunch
