GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 18/01/2005 10:42

keep at it wwww!! It will come off this week, I bet - you've just stunned your body with your massive 6lb weight loss and it needs time to get itself together. x E

dinosaur · 18/01/2005 10:44

10 st 2 this am! Yeee-haaaaaaa!

littlemissbossy · 18/01/2005 10:51

Still going strong here, homemade veg soup for lunch.... then will probably spend the remainder of the day farting

ThomCat · 18/01/2005 11:03

I've always had 3 sugars in my tea and coffee, now, thanks to the power of advertising, splendor is the new sugar in this house. 6 calories as opposed to 60, gotta be good. And I had wheatabix this morning which i hate, but I'm not hungry now.
Tonight's dinner will be chicken burritos, and left over veg soup for lunch with 2 rivitas, oh joy of all joys!

FineFigureFio · 18/01/2005 11:50

I lost FIVE AND A HALF POUNDS!!!!!

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 18/01/2005 11:59

I am sick of this dieting lark. It just means you think about food ALL THE TIME and are therefore hungry!!!!!!

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 18/01/2005 12:47

Wow fff, that's brilliant, well done! Thanks enid, I hope you're right. I feel thinner and dp thinks I've lost weight so I'll just wait until I weigh next week and hope I have. Ikwym about thinking about food, I just caught myself fantasising and salivating at a billboard advertising mature cheddar ffs! Today I've had a piece of toast and have walked 3 miles and about to have lentil soup and apples for lunch. Had teriyaki salmon from Fat Girl Slim last night and had run out of veg so I had noodles , first carbs in the evening for AGES.

princesspeahead · 18/01/2005 15:01

he he he he he
gave coddy very low fat salmon, prawns and rice with salad for lunch, and then waved a plate of suzywong's famous brownies under her nose.... aren't I NASTY?!

She was very good, she only had a tiny sliver. And she looks in great shape to me!

gingerbear · 18/01/2005 16:17

I have had a good day today.
porridge for brekky
wafer thin (tasteless!!) chicken salad plus ww yoghurt for lunch
banana and pear snack
dinner will be vegetable chilli con carne with brown rice.
Oh, forgot about two jaffa cakes in a meeting !

gingerbear · 18/01/2005 16:20

And I have drunk 2 litres of water, which was easier than I thought.

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 18/01/2005 16:27

pasta with tomato and veg sauce tonight - carbs, but I must use up some stuff in the fridge.

porridge
turkey and split pea soup (from freezer, made at Xmas)
banana
not enough water but several cups of tea.

didnt weigh myself this am.

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 18/01/2005 16:28

I don't get Splenda. Is it that one? "It's not sugar but is made from sugar" it says in the advert. So, what is it then?

lowcalCOD · 18/01/2005 20:28

the bloke on celebrity fit club - andy fordham who is 30 stone and 8 lbs drinks 4000 cals o f beer a day!

OP posts:
weightwatchingwaterwitch · 18/01/2005 21:21

I'll weigh myself tomorrow morning and will be very pissed off if I haven't lost anything. I wonder if there's something I've been eating without thinking but I really don't think so. Today:

1 piece toast with olive spread/Marmite (150 cals ish)
1 box raisins (30cals)
1 tin lentil soup (200 cals)
few strawberries (50?)
small bunch of grapes (100?)
bowl of peas (while resisting children's tea of Pizza Express Margherita pizzas + veg, managed not to touch any pizza, thank goodness)(50)
Mouthful smoked salmon (50)
5 fish fingers (300 cals)
1 sesame snap bar (165 cals)
1 apple (80? odd cals)

So the total is what, about 1200? So am I not eating enough? I'm just not hungry and it seems mad to eat if I'm not. I should be eating 1500 a day I think. Walked over 2 miles today too. And no booze, for the 14th day!

lowcalCOD · 18/01/2005 21:22

well done thats ounds great

OP posts:
weightwatchingwaterwitch · 19/01/2005 09:19

I HAVEN'T LOST ANYTHING AND I'M PISSED OFF! I really don't understand it. I've been going on 1500 cals/day, do you think I should go to 1,200? I know I'm still 6lbs lighter than when I started but it's not enough imo! Not for 2 weeks.

nasa · 19/01/2005 09:24

6lbs in 2 weeks? that's really good, any more than that and you're losing it too fast IMO

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 19/01/2005 09:28

But nasa, it was all in week 1, since then I haven't lost anything. Do you think that's normal?

bonniej · 19/01/2005 09:32

i haven't been part of this thread, but have been dieting with dh. started at 10st 9lb 2 and a half weeks ago but went up to 10st 12lb over christmas. Now weigh 10st 3lb so am really pleased. no-one to brag to at the moment so thought I'd post on here. Taken a tip from this thread and been eating loads of swede. Doesn't taste too bad and really filling. gives you bad tummy ache though if you're like me and don't fart Also given up bread, pasta, rice and cereal. think that's helped as well. Good luck to everyone else

bonniej · 19/01/2005 10:47

gosh, i killed the weightloss thread, sorry

iota · 19/01/2005 13:59

no you haven't Bonnie - and well done on losing 6 lb - I've only lost 3 .
