Goodness NA - how very organised!

sticktoit · 04/05/2008 10:28

Well just started the day with a mushroom omelette, tinned tomatoes and two walls lean recipe sausages (2 syns each and very worth it!)

Hope everyone is doing OK!

sticktoit · 05/05/2008 09:47

Gosh it's quiet on on this thread - hope you're all not falling off the wagon this bank holiday!!

I weigh in tonight, nervous but had a good week without a twilight zone so fingers crossed!!

WI and lost 3lbs....pleased with that but since I've come home have been eating chocolate digestives like they're about to go out of fashion, feel a bit sick now! Lol

Good going Letus - a 2yo in a backpack, my DD is a right chubb and if I had her in a backpack my back would be in half! .

(I chose my name so it was a way of reminding myself to "sticktoit", cos I usually don't!)

Hello everyone, hope you enjoyed your weekend!

Been very nuaghty had a mega sundae for 2 with Dh down the pub yesterday and have also eaten half a box of Terry's All Gold!

I'm a bad girl

Have been poorly though, migraine again and ds has been teething, clingy and overstimulated by my ils...

nappyaddict · 05/05/2008 23:23

well i weighed in saturday lost 7lbs in my first week!!! i think that weight loss will be quite slow though this week after losing so much in the first week. is that usually what happens?

LargeGlassofRed · 05/05/2008 23:28

wow well done nappy addict!
Have decided to bite the bullet and start tomorrow really want to loose a stone before summer.
Would love to go to class but money and time don't permit.
I did used to work for sw though as a manager so its not like I don't no what to do, its just the motivation to actually get slightly organised and do it!

SWlurker · 06/05/2008 08:34

I WILL get back on track! I WILL!! Grits teeth a bit like this but without the grin...

bank holiday is over and done with, I have a wedding to go to next bank holiday and am feeling confident about getting back into it now(even though the veg in my fridge has gone all sad and wilted due to complete neglect )

Have had 2 alpen cereal bars on way in this morning, will have apple and banana sliced up with yoghurt for mid morning snack and will go out at lunch for a jacket potato with the famous baked beans! Not sure about dinner - If I'm playing sport it will have to be something quick (might cheat at the butterbean thingy someone posted a while ago) or if I have the time I'll do the mushroom risotto I've been meaning to make for ages.

Right then - who else is - I mean IS back on track with me?!

nikkid21 · 06/05/2008 09:11

well done nappy addict - what a fab loss

I was pretty good over the weekend. A small blip on Saturday when we had a barbeque. I stuck to free meat and salad but somehow managed to drink a whole bottle of red wine on my own . Went to the gym on Sunday and Monday to make up for it though.

WI tonight. I need 1 lb loss for my 2 stone award and 2.5 lb for target. I shall be having an incredible sulk if it's another bluddy half pound off.

BouncingTurtle · 06/05/2008 15:21

SWlurker - I know what you mean, I'll hold your hand and you hold mine. I was so determined to stick to the plan this weekend, but ended up getting stressed, and when I'm stressed I hit the chocolate.
I think I'll get my dress out I want to get back into to remind me why I need to stick the plan.

SWlurker · 06/05/2008 16:36

BT consider your hand firmly held!!

Popping onto here instead of visiting the works kitchen to nab choccy is my best hope! works some of the time

Due to complete pigging out last week I have stopped myself from having cheese or chocolate in the house this week. My HEas are all going to be milk, and I will make do with fromage frais and quark for my cheese desires. Might stock up on a few pots of quark and get experimenting with different herb combinations in them.

I bought a pot of very lazy red chillis today, and stirred it into some cous cous. I love the pots of lazy garlic, and presumably because both are preserved in white wine vinegar both should be free ingredients. Anything for making cooking easier and quicker!

SWlurker · 06/05/2008 16:38

must add to the above I only stirred a tiny bit into the cous cous, not the whole pot

BouncingTurtle · 06/05/2008 18:49

Well I maintained this week, so that was quite good.

I AM going to be good and not eat chocolate biscuits at my mums...

nikkid21 · 06/05/2008 20:13

Lost 2lb this week so I got my 2 stone award. Only half a pound to go for target and I WILL get there this week

toadette · 06/05/2008 21:21

Hi everyone

Back from a foodandwine-fest of a Bank holiday weekend

I'm soooooooo back into the diet and exercise from tomorrow.

OP posts:
Furball · 06/05/2008 21:28

way to go Nappyaddict! Well done you.

Also congratulations to nikkid21 2lbs in one week at this stage is fantastic.

Finally, finally well enough to get back running again today. Will go tomorrow and thursday to try and re-coup what I can. Even though I've stuck to it 100 % I just feel the running gives me that extra and I did say I wanted to loose 3 lbs this week to get my first stone, which I will have done in 6 weeks.[hopeful]

nappyaddict · 07/05/2008 00:14

i think the running helped me too furball. my body definitely had a shock!! i haven't done any sort of running for just under 4 years. actually that's probably why the weight started creeping on. i used to be able to eat anything but i did loads of sport.

kid · 07/05/2008 06:35

This is my second week sticking to SW, although with 2 BBQs over the weekend means I sort of slipped.
I have tried to remain goodish though and will weigh in tomorrow. I would be surprised with a loss so am hoping for a maintain at the least!

Furball · 07/05/2008 06:44

kid - bbq's shouldn't be a problem totally with SW. Have a red day and have loads of salad with your different meats.

kid · 07/05/2008 06:54

How about the burger buns and dressings, plus all the cakes and sweets etc (it was a kiddies birthday party!)

I don't even really like meat, but I don't like vegetables enough to become a vegetarian! I am sure the damage can't be that bad.

I get into the terrible habit of doing one day wrong so I might as well give up on that day or week and start again next time. I didn't think I would do that but I am, time and time again

Furball · 07/05/2008 07:19

If you only go wonky on one meal it probably won't make that much difference if you can jump straight back into the driving seat for the next meal. Also go with your full 15 syn quota so you have got some room to play with.

SWlurker · 07/05/2008 08:29

I am Sooo glad I made myself make that veg risotto last night. I really couldn't be bothered but knew I'd be very annoyed if I let the vegetables go to waste, so I made it and it was bloomin gorgeous. I always add loads of balsamic vinegar, white wine vinegar, stock and everything else I can find. This one worked out 3 syns the whole pot (2 different flavour stock cubes and a tablespoon honey). I ate a huge amount last night And I wonder why I'm not a size 8!! At least it was free food (well, 3 syns)

Rode the horse last night, so at least thats a bit of exercise.

Furball · 07/05/2008 09:02

Swlurker - is that code for another activity

SWlurker · 07/05/2008 12:03

lol I wish!!
