Hi everyone

Nice new thread for us all x

Hi folks -
haven't been following plan for ages... finding it really hard to be honest so have decided to knock it on the head - especially as a lot of the meals I normally do are unsuitable for feeding a BLW baby!
Good luck with all your weight losses everyone! I might start back again when I go back to work in September, as DS will be getting all his meals at nursery during the week.

justRia · 07/07/2008 20:01

I know exactly where you're at lurker, and bouncingturtle too. SW is a lot easier if you only have to consider yourself.

I have had a good day again (just had the jambalaya off the website, but synned chicken instead of quorn. Would recommend it, tis delisious). but come 9.30 if I'm stressed it may well go arse up. I hope not because I've tried really hard today.

SWlurker · 08/07/2008 08:28

Hi Ria

Did it go ar*e up last night? Hope you managed to stick to plan.

sticktoit · 08/07/2008 09:05

Oh no what's happening to everyone???

We all seem to be falling off with a big bump!!

I had a good few days after last week and lost 2lbs last night, phew

I know it's so hard when your motivation goes, been there so many times. I'm just so sick of being this weight, I'm really determined this time. Where I would have packed it in after a couple of bad days before, I just carry on with the plan the day after which is not like me at all.

I've another 23lbs to lose to be within my healthy weight range so must keep going!

Good luck girls, c'mon you can do it!!

justRia · 08/07/2008 10:15

'fraid so. Not even for anything nice

Tommy · 08/07/2008 14:37

oh dear - I gained today as well

Shall we all post an idea for a meal or snack in the hope of inspiring each other?

I made a lentil shepherd's pie last night which was really lovely and free on green. DS3 had the rest of it for lunch today and I had the rst of the lentil filling on a jacket potato with salad.

Would love some more green meal ideas

justRia · 08/07/2008 15:12

Hi tommy. Sorry about your gain. My motivation is hiding today.

cooked Pasta mixed with mushrooms and garlic cooked in fry light is nice.

I have let myself down today by not being more organised (and letting Dsis get to me cos she's lost 6lb in a week) I am going to have a small amount of smoething delicious for tea and get back to plan tomorrow. I aren't working tomorrow so lunchtime should be easier too.

SWlurker · 09/07/2008 11:32

(still off plan)

frylight fried mushrooms chopped up tiny & garlix mixed with quark and fresh parsley and seasoned - makes nice mushroom pate or pasta sauce.

I have been addicted to vegetarian sushi recently, and have bought the stuff, so will post recipe if I am successful in creating nice SW friendly sushi!

I don't feel very well with all my pigging out. Think this might be what I need to get back on track tomorrow sharpish.

jenniebee · 09/07/2008 23:35

Checking in for the week, did ok this week (cheeky mac donalds tho) and lost 3 pound. yay, i'm sure i'll lose all motivation in a few weeks. SWlurker your pasta sauce sounds gorgeous might have to try tomorrow. justRia i hope you've managed to get back on track!

SWlurker · 11/07/2008 10:01

Hmmmmm ok I did well and truly pig out this week and I have really felt it health-wise. My jeans are tighter, I've been lethargic and not felt "well". Its just what I needed to motivate me again (I hope!!) Am breaking myself back in gently with supernoodles and tins of spaghetti etc with the intention of getting an organic veg box next week and having a speed foods week with lots of fresh stuff and less processed

Furball · 12/07/2008 14:41

I lost 1/2 lb this week - need to step it up, this is toooo slow.

had a mouch around t'internet and found this fantastic list of SW recipes
73 frigging pages!!! we need never ask for inspiration again!!!!

Furball · 12/07/2008 14:42

scroll upto the top for the list of them in alphabetically order

sticktoit · 13/07/2008 16:17

Hi all, lost 3lbs this week - so chuffed.

Hoping for another good week this week!

Tommy · 13/07/2008 20:25

thanks for that furball - will have a look at that. I have been to 3 parties in 2 days this weekend and eaten far too much cake so not sure how I'll do at weigh in on Tuesday!

Well done sticktoit

SWlurker · 15/07/2008 13:51

Has anyone got the password please?

And a sample menu? my friend wants to try SW!

Tommy · 15/07/2008 20:34

I am stil using rounders - it worked yesterday but don't know when it changes!

I think the sample menu is available on the website without logging in.

I lost 2lbs this week which is and Just need another pound or so to get me over the next milestone

SWlurker · 16/07/2008 09:30

Shall we start a new thread in the hope of kickstarting ourselves?

colette · 16/07/2008 14:41

Yes. Swlurker then I can join in . I am going to buy the books off e-bay and get started as i can't get to a class

Tommy · 16/07/2008 14:41
