I ate to plan all week and was really upset to have a four pound gain
however I did have a new medication and on reading the side effects swollen ankles and water retention is high on the list - hopefully this will sort itself out in the next week or two - I know I ate well so I know I have to just stick with it

but it was so disheartening - also I know its not possible for me to have put on that much fat in a week (eating as I did)

now all I have to do is stick with the plan

hope everyone else is doing well

hello has anyone got this weeks password please am trying really hard to lose weight this week cos i lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks without trying and has motivated me to stick to my diet

have had a bad day SW wise. I had a huge free brunch of quorn sausages, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, potato rosti and a yogurt - very good so far - and then sat by the table at a children's party and ate Pringles all afternoon - and a couple of sausage rolls and a few chocolate fingers. I'm so cross with myself as I've been really good so far but I've planned a SW pizza for dinner with save up HE for the cheese and everything so I just need to be more positive!

No - a few party food nibbles will not be too bad especially if you were good the rest of the day, looks like you had a few speed foods in there too.

Well I've had another 100% week and WI tomorrow. I am keeping everything crossed and going to group wearing the lightest linen clothes I possess! On a green day today so am just about to have beans on toast for brekkie!

Hey - wonder how lurker is after her date !!

Hiya peeps, WI tonight. Another 1lb off. Just keep telling myself it's going in the right direction and that's what's important! Would be nice to see maybe 1.5lbs one week though!

Just got some syn-free chips in the oven which I'm going to have with some mushy peas.....

hello all, can I join you?

I have gone to my first sw meeting this evening. I am at least 2.5 stone heavier than I was when I got pg with ds2 (now 6 weeks) and 3 stone heavier than I used to be. I am heavier than I have ever been I think. I hate the way I look now

I have done nothing but eat biscuits since i have had ds2, and have probably put on weight since I had him!

I would like to lose a stone in a month and then take it from there... is this realistic?

Hi, I am new to the board.
Joined SW 2 weeks ago and lost 4 pounds in first week and gained a pound in 2nd week. Baffled as didn't do anything different. Had lots of green days so could it be that green doesn't suit or has anyone else experienced this? Bit disheartened

pollyanna - I've lost 1 stone 1 1/2 lb in 7 or 8 weeks stuck to it like glue and I also run 15km a week.

I think it is possible but dependant on how overweight you actually are. I want to loose 2 1/2 - 3 stone over all so nearly half way there.

mullerlight - how disappointing for you. Did you hand in a food diary? it doesn't take much to make the plan not to work for you. your leader should give it the once over and contact you if anything is amiss. Sometimes it can be something unbeleivable like you are not eating enough!

give us an example of a days consumption.

Feel like I am eating loads.
Typical day would be-

Breakfast- Banana

Mid morning - Apple or mullerlight(hence name) lol

Dinner- Quorn and rice and veg

Evening- an odd voddy and diet coke.
using nearly all my syns on bits

Don't eat bread as it really bloats me. Just checked my food diary and noticed I drink too much milk in coffee (not been weighing milk) would that make a difference?
I have 3 stone to lose. Put on a fair bit with my darling boy.
How about you? How are you getting on?x

I would say you are not eating enough fibre. What are your healthy extras? You should be having milk - yes measure and can have double if you don't have cheese. and then the bits for healthy extras 2 you do't appear to have had any?

Having all healthy extras- on green days I

would have a piece of chicken (weighed) with my

quorn and another healthy extra of

cereal or one of the hifi bars.

Well I have been spectacularly off plan for long enough - on Thursday my consultant rang me and I agreed to go back to class tonight, and start again as I will probably weigh more than when I last WI Enough's enough - back on track today and NO excuses. [means it face]

Don't worry about falling off for a week, you'll be OK and you're obviously focused to get back on as you're posting on here and going back to group tonight. I know it's bloody hard though but it'll be worth it!!!

I have a question re. sausages.......I had some Walls lean recipe pork sausages for brekkie and checked online for syns which said they are 1 syn each, so I had three.......after eating them I checked my syns directory also which said they are 2 each so which would you count? I'm obviously wishing I'd never checked my directory now!! Is syns online more accurate? I have the most recent directory.......?
