Team RH - has anyone actually been visited by a debt collector

Has anyone used Team RH and had a bad experience or had debt collectors at the door? I used the app for 1 day. Total scam and mis sold. Only after waiving your right to the 14 day cooling off period, creating a direct debit, does it tell you to download my fitness pal which is free and clunky. It did all the work.

I used team RH for 1 day and tried to cancel to be told no. There is no way I'm paying for a 12 month contract for a service I used for one day. I don't follow the plan, I don't take any notice of the goals I've been set. I'd rather be fat to be honest.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has actually had debt collectors come to the door or is it just the bully emails and calls? has anyone experienced anything?

you don’t see the head honcho of slimming world or Joe Wicks posting on thread about their organisation, pretending to be someone else. The need to defend their organisation in a pretty childish manner. I mean don’t cry about it seriously.

I struggled with all the manic ‘big Brenda’ style stuff and the lack of help unless you could prove you were perfect and good luck even then. But the alleged leaked messages were the worst bit.

@RowansMammytalk about tin pot organisation 😂😂…some of their responses to people on FB and Trust Pilot are totally embarrassing and childish! Richie’s vile approach to ‘running’ his business is not sustainable. Karma is a bitch though! Every dog has his day.

So on his own social media he’s slagging off his own customers. Someone who literally signed up the day before mfp got pulled was politely saying she wasn’t impressed as the mfp link was why she signed up as she likes it. He’s mocking her.

He’s a vile excuse for a man who can’t take any form of feedback unless it’s fawning over him.

This is what I'm thinking... Like I use MFP and therefore don't want to pay for a service that was sold as being linked with MFP. They've also now updated the T&C's on their own website to mention their new app, didn't email existing customers to inform them of the change of T&C's... Sneaky.

Wasn’t there a lady where they recorded conversations and posted them on social media. It was a massive GDPR breach on their part. I’m not sure of the whole story.

Yes, obviously it was just alleged but if you google it you’ll find them. They’re on the another forum that’s often contentious.

I made a sheet because I had learned everything I needed 🤣, I understood what makes the caloric TDEE and well versed enough to actually use my coding skills to make my own weekly statistics using the API with MyFitnessPal, it was a bit of work but it gets me where I need to go.. I jusy pointed out my history but I can see what kind of forum i have landed on, now im being called Richie, its the type of forum sort of like a toxic reddit. So if you dont hate Richie then you are Richie 🤣

There it is, its because you dont like his method, thats all this is. Its not because of scam as this started out. I got no affiliation, I just didnt understand it until I realized what kind of forum I landed on.

I merely explained the reasoning for this, the thing is people got it in their head that Im Richie, the hilarious part about it is even if they saw who I am they wud still stick by it..

Just to be clear, I have issues with a) his method, b) the fact that he tries to scam people by claiming they’re bound by a credit agreement, when they’re not, and c) his vile, misogynistic personality.

Regarding point b) He never had to offer this to people per month on what is probably a normal agreement (handshake scouts honor) but he did anyway.

If I would have been him, I would have simply dropped this method because of the amount of ungrateful characters in the UK (not applicable outside of UK this method) on forums that join and then dislike the service with a buyers remorse attitude over few measly pounds a month.

But hes not me, he seems to want to allow the grateful "mums" which have not much to rub together per month but want to join the private group which features anyway just mostly rachel and not him so much so that me, a guy didnt feel really much for me in private group back then. Morning sessions with Rachel caters more to women anyway..

His hook is profanity, betties and tinas and it works well for guys..

Anyway you dont need him, all you need is to understand caloric deficit and TDEE formula and u got it what they are doing.. its just a group of likeminded people doing home exercises in the morning keeping each other accountable but with a healthy intake approach instead of low calorie starvation nonsense.
