Looking for some Saxenda buddies

There are lots of threads for Wegovy or Ozempic, but is anyone out there still using Saxenda?

After 4 months of trying to get supplies, I bought one month of Wegovy, but since Christmas, I have been able to get Saxenda, so have switched to that.

Am looking for fellow saxers!

I would love to go back on it!

Lost 2 stone on it last year and have kept it off. 2 more to go

I got from boots and Asda but still out of stock

This is so good to hear! How long did it take you to lose that? I have 30kgs to lose and am feeling hopeful and motivated!

Think it took me around 4-5 months in total. Lost a bit more towards the end but didn't weigh

Where you getting saxenda from these days?

I'm not in the UK, I am in Europe. And after being on waiting lists at several pharmacies, seems my luck is in! You cannot buy it without a prescription here.

Hello! I've been on and off Saxenda depending on supply. 16lbs off over 1 weeks and had 2 weeks off will illness over Christmas. Could def have lost more if I'd been stricter with alcohol.. I love it!

Today I went up to 1.8, after a week of 1.5. A friend is on ozempic and feeling so terrible, I have decided to go up in half doses rather than full.

Am taking it first thing in the morning, in the stomach (swapping sides). Am able to eat a lunch but finding that the evening meal is a struggle. Have had a (diet) tonic and will eat a little something later to make sure I have eaten enough today.

Food today so far
Boiled egg
Home made ox tail soup with 2 slices of seeded baguette.
2 kiwis
Glass of diet tonic water
2l water

This mornings weight: 108.1kg
Goal weight 80kg.

I took my first injection today in the morning as recommended but don’t feel anything apart from hungry.
does anyone know when Saxenda starts to kick I ? Thank you x

Hello! It took three weeks for it to fully kick in with me. I mean, I noticed I was snacking less, but I wasn't sure if it was a placebo effect?

But once I hit 1.8, I struggled to eat

Lost 2lb this week, could have been more but can't resist a drink on Saturday nights..

This is my third go.. previous times supply ran out. I've been on full dose for 4 weeks now,

I do get hungry but find a small amount fills me up.. and of course still try to make healthy choices

Where are you getting it? I was on sax for 1 yr and lost 4 stone. I haven't been able to get it anymore. Still need another 3 stone off!

I am outside of the UK and so am still able to get it, although it is getting harder. I have 4 boxes still...

Am still losing! Although I am currently on holiday and today I have not made the best food choices. I am paying for it now... 😞

I’m on day 4 today and I have noticed the appetite suppression from day 1. I’ve lost 4lbs. Though I don’t trust it until I see that scale continue to move. My food noise is still there and I am hoping that it doesn’t stay much longer.

For the first time I am hopeful about weight loss.

day 1 255.8 lbs
day 4 251.2 lbs

Also, I am in Ireland and it seems like there’s a decent supply at the moment. Fingers crossed

That's a great start to your weigh loss. How are you feeling? Any symptom?

No real appetite but I do get hungrier just before the next dose. I take it in the afternoon 5pm.

Last night I had one bout of awful diarrhoea….. but I got my period this morning so not sure what to blame that on.

i get weirdly sleepy when sitting down but loads of energy when I’m moving

i am on day 6 but sticking to 0.6 for next week too as I had awful sude effects when I went higher last year (had to then stop for 6 months or so due to shortages). Have lost 2lb so far but haven’t really noticed that much of a decrease in appetite? Maybe I’m being impatient?

I’m not really sure. I was able to eat more today than the last few days. I’m trying to adopt a wait and see approach
