@GU24Mum it doesn't work like that, the effect on your system is quite powerful so after 2 weeks they say you must start again at 0.25. It is worth a try at that level.
Sorry this is going to sound like a lecture but I am going to restate this again and again because people are putting themselves at risk with this drug.
It is mimicking the hormone that makes you feel full after eating. It also lowers your blood sugar. If you don't ease up to it, you will most certainly feel unwell from the effects.
It is a real worry that people are able to access this drug and take it however they please so it is important we all raise awareness. High starting doses are literally dangerous. I saw a woman boasting about 50lb loss in 2.5 months after starting on 1.7. She said she felt so unwell, but it was working, so she pushed through it. And ended up in hospital with kidney failure and pancreatitis!
I know we are all desperate to lose weight for our own reasons in a way that drives us mad, but please for the sake of your health, this is a marathon, not a sprint. It is not a magic bullet. Follow the guidance on dosage, make sure you eat properly and drink lots of water, and do your resistance training. 4lb a month is the expected loss in trials. Don't compare yourself to other who report big results.
