I'm doing daily weigh ins, I find it more motivating. It might not be for everyone but if anyone would like to join in with posting every day your weight and loss, and how the day has gone - to stay in focus. Good luck!

I’ve also got a spreadsheet, I’m going to try work out what my best calorie intake is for weight loss as I think I have lost my way a little, as my TDEE has gotten lower it’s got harder to work out what I really ought to be sticking to.

JustACountryMusicGirlInCowboyBoots · 02/01/2024 11:43

55.9kg this morning. My tdee is around 1900 on average and I eat around 1550 calories a day if I'm keeping an eye on things. Fitbit tells me I walked an average of 16,500 steps a day last year. That's 6.5 miles a day. My tdee would be a lot lower without that walking.

Menora · 02/01/2024 12:02

I haven’t been to the gym for a couple of weeks as I have been unwell so it’s not a surprise I have gained a little but 2lb is good going in these circumstances!

my spreadsheet tells me it will take me another 5-6 months to get from 80kg to 68kg. This is eating 1500-1600 calories and exercising. Depressing much!

EatingTillIDie · 02/01/2024 12:17

Sounds more exciting than the reality, a box room that only just squeezes it all in but it will do. Pleased I had enough room for rower as its the only exercise I can do other than swimming due to bad knee

Morning Everyone.
I've started doing a HIIT workout in a morning, I ache in places I didn't know I could ache. 😂

SW. 98.3kg
CW 98.2kg

I had pizza last night and some garlic bread, so that could have been so much worse 😬

SpongeBlobSquareFace · 03/01/2024 07:27

57.4kg this morning.

FlabMonsterIsDietingAgain · 03/01/2024 07:42

@Hmmthatsgoodchicken I did Aqua aerobics for the first time last night, my thighs are screaming. Lots and lots of water today to help the muscles heal.

SW: 225lb
CW: 223lb

SkinnyChaiLattePlease · 03/01/2024 07:47

Feeling a bit blah today. Was so so good yesterday. So good.

still 61kg.

I know it will come, but it would have been nice to see a tiny shift just as a ‘that’s it, you’ve got this’ 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

But I shall carry on and hopefully today will be better.

Menora · 03/01/2024 08:00

I got off some of the NY water retention
been all over the place got down to 78.8kg back up to 80kg now I am 79.5

Wafflefudge · 03/01/2024 08:01

Another 300g gone since yesterday. Expecting the quick losses to stop soon.
SW: 58.7 kg 01.01.24
CW: 57.3 kg

CoatOfArms · 03/01/2024 09:14

Stuck at 78.8kg AGAIN this morning.

FlabMonsterIsDietingAgain · 03/01/2024 09:23

Based on previous weight loss attempts if you find yourself stuck at the same weight for a few days, first check where you are in your cycle, week before period was always a bugger for me. Then check your water intake, 2lts a day minimum for me or it doesn't work.

Menora · 03/01/2024 09:29

@FlabMonsterIsDietingAgain i don’t have a womb anymore but I still ovulate and I do think I still retain water at that time for sure

TheShellBeach · 03/01/2024 13:16

18st10lb today.

That's a loss of 2lb since yesterday.

Total loss 14lb in 6 days.

It'll slow down next week.

EatingTillIDie · 03/01/2024 16:03

@TheShellBeach well done that is incredible! I know what you mean, I'm the same size as you more or less and losses can be big at first but it never lasts for long :(

Stick at it whatever you are doing and don't lose hope! Water water water.

Sw 19st 8 on 2/12/23
Cw 18st 13 🥳
Gw 11st (ish)
Current Method: wegovy and eating less!

That's 9lb off in a month, very happy

Well done @EatingTillIDie

Keep at it.

JustACountryMusicGirlInCowboyBoots · 03/01/2024 21:22

@TheShellBeach goodness, how have you lost 14lg in less than a week?! That's incredible!

TheShellBeach · 03/01/2024 22:40

I've got a weird metabolism.
The weight loss will slow down after a couple of days.

I often feel that I lose and gain the same four stone all the time.

I can stick to dieting for a while, then I fall off the wagon.

SkinnyChaiLattePlease · 04/01/2024 06:57

A shift!

SW: 62kg
CW: 60.5kg
GW: 52kg

Which is a nice treat as I slept awfully last night. Because I’m quite hungry at the moment I feel a bit anxious in the evenings, so I need to use today to remind myself to eat more fruit and veg and not just nothing (I’m not eating nothing, it just feels like it in comparison to the last few months!) plus I think alcohol helped me drop off before.

@CoatOfArms fingers crossed for you today x
@EatingTillIDie that’s amazing! Well done!
@TheShellBeach wow! Well done! Sorry if I’ve missed it, but how much do you want to lose and how are you losing it? X

Menora · 04/01/2024 07:29

I’m happy, have got down to 79.2kg now so that’s near my pre Xmas weight of 12st 5

I'm finding the restart pretty easy this time round as I didn’t go too far off plan in December

Sw: 15st 6
Cw: 12st 6
Gw: 10st 10

i also re measured my height as I used to be 167cm, as I have aged and got unfit with a bad back and posture I dropped to 165cm and thanks to Pilates I am 166cm so it’s changed my BMI to 28 not 29

SpongeBlobSquareFace · 04/01/2024 07:41

57.5kg
The mince pie, jammy dodgers and crisps were not a good idea.
I am getting back in the saddle.

CoatOfArms · 04/01/2024 07:49

Won't be weighing in for a few days - I have proper flu with joint aches and vomiting any everything. Supposed to be having a blood test to look at my cholesterol tomorrow, may have to cancel.

Hmmthatsgoodchicken · 04/01/2024 08:13

SW: 98.3
CW: 98.1

We are picking a dog up on Saturday- so there will be lots of extra walking soon. So hopefully that will help. 🥳

Hope you feel better soon @CoatOfArms

Cinai · 04/01/2024 08:35

85.7kg today.
GW: 78 kg
Full disclosure, I didn’t record the last two days because I found myself in disagreement with my scale 🤣
