Has anyone seen any 2.4mg pens available?

Does anyone have a click sheet showing how many clicks using the Wegovy 1.7ml please?

I'm thinking that due to the shortages, I'm going to stay at 1mg but use this pen over 7 weeks. If I manage to get another pen in a few weeks I may then increase.

My quick meds one arrived today. Impressed with the speed at that as I only rang them yesterday at 4 to do the check and this morning it was coming via royal mail.
I got them diverted to the local post office for collection when with juniper to avoid any questions from the people at home who don't know I've been using it (just a complicated conversation I'm happy to avoid) and was able to do the same too. Good job as it came needing to be signed for and it would have been sent back anyway as noone is home in the morning.

Wow, I go away with work for a week and so much has happened here!

Does anyone know if Quickmeds are still selling Oz at all, or is it pointless to try to buy at 1pm and 6pm? I've been getting the 0.25 pens and counting clicks to get to 0.75 since July, and six months since I started it's still working well.

Secondly: If Oz is no longer available at all, I'll change to Wegovy. I still have 25lbs+ to lose. BUT how do you all know which dose Wegovy to buy? Is there a conversion chart somewhere, or are you getting phone or whatsapp consultations from Quickmeds?
Would really appreciate some advice here which Wegovy dose to buy if I'm on 0.75 Oz and potentially looking to go up to 1mg Oz.

I have found the pharmacist at Quickmeds to be really helpful - above and beyond. It might be worth having a chat with them for advice

Rightangled have ozempic in stock if anyone needs any, 0.25, 0.5 and 1.0.

Wegovy and Ozempic are both Semaglutide just with different branding so you want 1 mg Wegovy which is cheaper than 1mg Ozempic.

It's presented by Anna Richardson. No idea if it will be a proper in depth look or a tabloid hatchet job but might be worth a watch. I've set it to record anyway!

I just got my first wegovy pen delivered from quickmeds 😁. I had managed to order one last Friday, but by Tuesday it was still saying 'order placed' and when I contacted them they said they had cancelled my order because I failed the screening and were processing a refund. I think it was because I hadn't detailed where I had got my last 2 pens from (Bury) or evidenced it, but I would have thought they could have contacted me to ask rather than just cancel as I have ordered 1mg from quickmeds previously. Gave them evidence of my recent pens and reordered on Thursday at 6.
Are people paying for postage from quickmeds? I have before due to wanting to get it in the fridge quickly, but this time decided to chance free 2-3 day delivery as I thought they must have some responsibility to deliver it 'safely' and when I've missed a delivery previously they reassured me the packaging keeps it cold enough for a few days. Despite selecting that option they posted it yesterday and it has just arrived next day delivery 🥳

I did the same @gingerbubs , I ordered with the free 2-3 day delivery. Because of where I live, fast delivery options are pointless, next day delivery generally takes 2-3 days anyway. Mine was delivered after 2 days, still cold.

I've been on 0.5 for the last 3 months - was meant to go up to 1 but mixture of the shortages and my adverse reaction moving from 0.25 to 0.5 meant I've kept the 1 pen and kept going with the 0.5.

The effectiveness is now definitely wearing off. I've got food noise coming back and im feeling hungry a lot more.

But on the positive side I do get full a lot easier, so can't stuff my face the way I used to.

I've got 2 1.0 pens in the fridge (I also bought one from Bury) and once my 0.5 runs out im thinking of going up to 0.75 - I'll get 10 doses out of the 2 pens and by the time those run out I'm hoping by Wegovy supplies etc may be more stable.

Does make me ponder on what im going to do long term - but this morning, when feeling hungry I picked up a cake bar to have with my coffee and then managed to have a strong word with myself and put it back. So that's some sort of progress!

I’ve got a 0.25 pen I just started, taking 0.375mg doses. Plus a 0.5 pen as backup. I wasn’t getting the same response from 0.25 after eight weeks, which is to be expected to be fair.

I am feeling REALLY TIRED with just this small increase, so am glad I didn’t go straight up to 0.5. I am getting hungry, but feel full really quickly. Just managed one weetabix for breakfast today.

Chatted to QuickMeds who think I should swap 0.75 Oz to 1mg Wegovy when my last pen runs out.
"We are expecting Wegovy stocks to take over from Oz, so think Wegovy going forward."

Question for the people who were on 1mg Oz when they swapped, did you go for 1mg Wegovy or 1.7? I feel 0.75 Oz becoming slightly less effective but maybe going to 1,7 W will be too much of a step?

On a separate note, I've been away (work + some fun) and not kept to my normal strict calorie deficit for over a week. It was a slight worry, ie will I pile on loads? Also feeling the 0.75 Oz dose becoming slightly less effective and I've really been enjoying some lovely food and drinks, but not huge portions and not a big breakfast if I knew I was having a nice lunch etc.
I came home and weighed myself yesterday, slightly apprehensive, but I've lost 1lbs in 10 days. So that's interesting. It tells me that I will be able to maintain my new weight going forward and still enjoy holidays etc, as long as I watch portions and treat myself sensibly.

BMI now is 25.6. When I started this journey in March it was 34. I'd like to lose another 25lbs.

Don't forget you can count the clicks so work out the economy of scale for bigger sizes.

I'm thinking of stopping. I have two 0.5mg pens left. I am so weary of the fatigue and the nausea. I wake up queasy every day, that's the way it's been for six months and it's horrible feeling sub par constantly. I've read alot of people feel much better off it.

I've lost nearly 20 per cent of my body weight but have a bit to go but I can't be bothered scrabbling for supplies or with the side effects.

I might restart once wegovy is easily sourced and supplies steady. I just find it adds to the stress of the weight loss journey trying to source it.

@SarahC50 wish you all the best. You have lost a stonking amount in a short time, similar to mine, and I'm sorry you've had these horrible side effects. Could the rapid massive loss have affected your energy levels too? Just asking because if I've not been meticulous about nutrition, supplements, sleep, bowel movements and cutting back on exercise I feel sub par too.
It's actually been a good exercise in putting my own wellbeing first, something I should have done years ago.

I've been on Ozempic for about 5 months. Started on .25 then went up to .5 where I've stayed because I couldn't get hold of any 1mg pens. I've lost one stone five pounds - so v slow progress.

This week I finally managed to get a 1mg pen. I'd love to get to two stone weight loss by the end of October, but I have just started a .5 pen. Should I spend the next three weeks using up the .5 pen, or will I be ok to start my 1mg pen now, use it for the next four weeks, then return to my already started .5 pen?

I guess my question is: how long do the pens keep for once they're started?

@AlbertCampion the pens keep for several weeks in the fridge but why don't you just inject 1.0 from the 0.5 pen? Or go up 0.75 for two weeks, then start on the 1.0 pen?

Im a long time lurker but never posted.

Im a classic yo yo dieter, ive gained and lost same 4.5 stone over around 15 years.
In the past ive used Phentermine, weight watchers, slimming world, Willpower.. I've tried every diet there is and i ALWAYS end up back where i started. It's miserable and my weight gets me down.

I've been using Ozempic for a couple of months, currently using 0.5 and doing ok. Its definitely helped curb my appetite and ive lost over a stone. My bmi at the start was 35.

Has anyone taken their pen on holiday on a plane? I go away in a few weeks and im terrified that I'll gain weight. I don't really want to miss 2 weeks but at the same time as its not prescribed by my GP im concerned if there will be any implications?
What does everyone do when they go abroad?

@Poppie1234 - I’ve taken it with me with no issues. It’s not recommended to put it in checked luggage as the hold can get too cold. I keep mine in the box that has my name and the prescription details on and put it in a separate clear plastic bag and just put in the tray on the belt at security. Never had an issue.

@nebulae it's the cost, tbh - if I double up doses then I'm paying £150 per week rather than &75, which is already insane!
