I was doing slimming world until last night. I was doing it since June and haven't lost a single pound since Aug.

I think it's time for change. I am starting WW on Tuesday. Any body else up for joining me.

Yes possibly a little vinegary pong will remain. I have to say I have never tried it on my hair myself! I prefer it on my salads

i have been to weight watchers tonight and have lost half a pound. so a stone exactly altogether. i have eaten out twice this week so im happy with that

Well done on your stone loss liz and lulu. I have lost 5lbs in total in the last 2 weeks. Thought it might be a pound or so more as I have been SOOOO good (oh apart from the thhai meal I had on sat )but I have AF at the moment which always bloats me out a bit.

Well done smartie, thats fantastic, if you think each pack of butter is 1/2 pound so you have lost 10 packs of butter in just 2 weeks.

Do i understand this right - If I am doing the points plan and I go slightly over on points one day, can I just drop the excess off the next days points? IS IT REALLY THAT SIMPLE

yes you can. if you had 4 more points today than you are ment to, you can just cut back 4 points tomorrow.
you can also save points up. up to 4 points a day, to save for whatever you like.

Hi, haven't been around much this week but have weighed myself today and have lost another 2lbs. I'm really pleased, DH lost 1lb but thats probably incorrect cos he sat munching ryvita right before he went to bed.

Total loss so far

Hi everyone - I'm new to this thread (thanks for the link Smartiejake!).
I've done ww before - twice - first time worked well, second time not so good! Then I shifted the weight by going to the gym about 10 times a week (a bit gym-bunnyesque - but it worked!)
Am now 8.5months post birth - comfort ate from about month 2 and am finding old habits hard to give up.
Am now a big size 16 and only 5 foutt tall and really want to just get down to around a small size 14 again - will need to shift at least 2 stone - ugh!
I need incentive - I start every day wel then fall foul to the "I'm bored - what will i do - I know, I'll snack" monster. I'm even back at work and the lure of the vending machine is too much. I can no longer kid myself that a kitkat is a healthy bar of chocolate (I know it is low points - but I just need to cut it out!)
Help!

Have been subscribing to WW online for, god, years but since baby 3 am really struggling. Am BF too so found it very VERY difficult not to stuff face at all times. He's weaning so cutting down - am hoping actual dieting, as opposed to thinking about dieting will be easier now.

Will try to catch up with you all again when I, erm, get back on the points train...

ho hum (more biscuits)

i'm gonna start a motivation thread any minute too, watch out...

Meep and monkey - welcome.

I know it's really hard to keep off the crap but if you set a side 2-3pts a day for a bar of chocolate or some biscuts or what ever tickles your fancy you won't feel do deprived.

It's just getting into the right mind frame again. Have a goal or stick a fat pic up on the fridge to remind yourself why your on the diet (thats what I do)

i am in a size 20 at the min, but they are getting loose. i have got a proper jelly belly thought and would like to loose hopefully 2 stone more before igo to ibiza. it is 12 weeks away.

So you are looking to lose 2.5lbs a week which is very possible you just have to keep your goal in mind.

I want to lose 9.5lbs by the start of may. I am track and so far so good.

Have just had some fruit for breakfast. Going swimming later. But it is a 4 day weekend. How am I going to be able to control my munchies and eat sensibly?(Weekends are always my down fall)

Also my weak willed eating demon is telling me there is no point dieting next week as I am going on holiday next Saturday.
