I was doing slimming world until last night. I was doing it since June and haven't lost a single pound since Aug.

I think it's time for change. I am starting WW on Tuesday. Any body else up for joining me.

i always find drink goes straight through me so i never count it!
if i have one pint i go to the loo about 7 times!

i went last night and have lost 1 and half pounds.
doesnt sound bad, but i didnt have my tea before going, so that would probably account for at least a pound of it.

i tried so hard this week and it is weeks like this that really put me on a downer.

When you have been doing it for a while it does slow down, dont be disheartened and 1-2 lbs is what is advised as healthy isnt it.

You are doing great. keep it up.

am off on hols for a week tomorrow, am planning to be good and will aim to go on long walks to try and burn off any treats i eat!

Good luck for this week's weigh ins, I will be missing mine this week!

liz - I agree with the others, keep going and remember that you are not alone! We all have weeks where we work our butts off and find out we have lost nothing or just half a pound! I think there are honestly weeks where weight loss does not match up with effort whether we lose more or less than expected, this could be to do with allsorts of things. So as long as you know you are doing your best, eventually that weight will shift!

I actually managed to get on exercise bike yesterday, however this was after I ate hot wings and chips and mayonaise from the chicken shop... all deep fried and really actually quite disgusting... dont know why i succumbed. Oh well... back on it.

This week as i've got loads of social stuff I switched to maintaining weight (the quiz said 25 points a day) So i've stuck (just about bar a couple of extra glasses of wine on Monday) to that and i've GAINED 3lb's.

Am pissed off

Have wedding and bbq to go to this weekend

Dh is away from sunday to wednesday so i'm going to do the speedy 18 points then to get back on track .. anyone fancy joining me?

God it has gotten really quite on here.

Mixed I know what you mean, I have been an angel during the week but at the weekends I have been a demon.

I think we need to do something to sort ourselves out. Maybe post what we eat everyday, it might give us the shock we need. What do you think or do you have any ideas?

Anyway

Have changed my weigh in date to Friday and theat 3lb's I'd put on has gone. How I have no idea as I've stuffed pizza/sausages/lager all weekend

Weighed again this morning to check it wasn't dehydration from the horrendous mild hangover and its still gone plus an extra half pound

VERY ODD

Am 4lb off goal weight (BMI of 25) so am sticking to it rigidly this week

Will post what I eat a bit later (off on nursery run!)

By some cray miracle have managed to lose half a pound. Altho that is over two weeks... but as they keep saying in the right direction. Was going to do core this week as I have a wedding on Saturday and thought i would use my points allowance for that, but have decided to stick with points as I have planned the meals for this week already.

I am up for noting what we have eaten. I have bought my tracker in today as well in a bid to make sure i track everything.

Banana 1.0

Today for me it will be:

Breaskfast - bran flakes with milk 3
Snanks - banana & apple 2
Lunch - rice and veggies with spices added - 5pts
Dinner - L/F Sausages, spuds & veggies - 6pts

Total 16pts, am aloud 21pts a day so might have a bit of choclate which is around 2pts
Hoping to stay at the 18pts today.

Just remembered a L/F yogurt - Brings points to 19 for the day

Thats brill that you have lost mixed cuz you really thought you were going to put on.

That is 18.5. I am allowed 18... mmm maybe just one more coffee then.

Plus am walking home when I pick up the kids with my massssivee double pushchair and it is about 45 mins. I am a snacker... i just have to be eating constantly.

Thats 16.5 points
So .5 for skim milk in coffee

Well I bought a bottle
And it was so delicious we decided to have another.
Then dh got back from work and he was having a chat, then her dh got in so they had a beer

And then a 3rd bottle was opened...

evening girls. i am not even going to attempt to list what i have jad to eat today, none of it was pointed. it hasnt been for the last 2 weeks. ate like a gannett.

there was a thread in the week about a lady who sabotages her diet and doesnt know why she does it. well i am exactly the same. i lost over a stone, i know i feel better for it, so why do i think it is ok to go back to eating crap???

hello all,

got back from my hols today, had a good time and the weather was pretty good. i was relatively good so hopefully will not have gained too much when I go to my next meeting. I even attempted jogging on my hols which was much harder than I thought it would be! Ate way too much ice cream but am back on the wagon now!
