Hi ShortandSweet - Thanks for the welcome! I'm afraid I have been losing my own Mojo of late too! Have been in WW on and off for months but I have to go wedding dress shopping for myself in November and really want to feel good fitting on my dress to be!

Mine · 29/07/2008 15:15

oh can i join too??!
I've been doing WW for a few months now, and have lost a bit of weight VERY slowly. I've lost me mojo with it too , but i need to get back on the wagon pronto!!
I need to lose about 2 1/2 stone.

Does anyone else have a really hard time fitting in any exercise...???
I just can't seem to be consistent with it..

oiwhatsoccurring · 29/07/2008 15:25

Hi mine. your more than welcome to join. I also have about 2 and a half stone to lose. It has taken me a yr to lose 2 stone and has been very hard going.

I cycle to and from work which is about 40 mins a day 4 times a week. And then I am always out with DD when off. I have just bought a bike seat for her so I can put her in the back and off we go.

Right how do we get our mojo back

Sorry name changed from shortandsweet.

Mine · 29/07/2008 15:48

well, i have just kicked myself up the bum and am going to Fat Attack tonight to sweat out the baby fat!!

Watch me strut my stuff in my size 14 leggings!!!

sagacious · 29/07/2008 15:58

Oh god I can't handle it

Note to self READ the INSTRUCTIONS properly do not merrily skip day one and go straight into the hardcore version.

I have been on and off the loo 10 times

(I have lost 3lb though! )

Have been under a blanket watching Dr Who re runs while the children play dr's on me

(waves weakly to newbies and reminds them to ignore any of my "helpful advice" as I'm a complete wally)

Mine · 29/07/2008 16:09

what did you do??

sagacious · 29/07/2008 16:52

"merrily skip day one and go straight into the hardcore version"

It is Not Good.

jilly78 · 29/07/2008 17:06

Hi Jilly and welcome don't worry we will help as much as we can. Were do you think your going wrong? What do you eat in a normal day?

jilly78 · 29/07/2008 19:14

just eating all the wrong types of foods. and far to much portion wise. when i tried to lose weight myself i did great for 2 3 weeks but then went back to my old eating habits. im really going to give it 110% this time, an di think joining ww will definately give me the boost i need also.

Of course you can dior.

It is very hard a) getting the weight off and b) keeping it off.

Dior do you have any recommendations as what helps to loss weight.

Jilly - When I want something sweet I have a rice cake with nutella on it which is about a point.
If I want chips I cut up spuds into chips spray with fry light and put in the oven. They are so delish.

Mine · 29/07/2008 21:23

well this thread has already started working..... i've just some back from my forst exercise class in months! I feel thin already!!

Hi Dior.... you must be able to give lots of advice.. please share.

I;m going to be soooooo good tomorrow

Yingers74 · 29/07/2008 23:30

Been really busy of late so had not had time to log on. At last meeting lost nought but I guess I did not gain either! Must get back on track this week esp as I am off on holiday next week in a haven caravan!

A good exercise if you short of time is skipping, you get knackered pretty quickly and apparently it is the second best exercise after jogging!

I spoke to someone and they said a good breakfast to have is nuts which also helps prevent the munchies around 10! I love nuts so it suits me, but you do have to avoid the favoured or salted ones!

hope everyone has a good weeks

sagacious · 30/07/2008 08:46

Well although I wouldn't recommend it I have lost 3lb in 2 days.

I've lost 1 stone 7lb properly on WW and just this last 2 weeks have strayed hence stoopid squit detox.

Portion size is always my non diet day problem.
I can happily eat the same as my 6 ft stocky DH. I can also sink pints and pints of bitter.

Shame I'm 5ft 3 and under the blubber very small boned.

I have the Food Doctor seeds as my snack (high calorie so only a teaspoon but has essential fatty acids which seem to boost my metabolism)

Had my 30g of fruit and fibre with skim milk and a cup of hot water with lemon.

Only 7lb to go (and 2 weeks till my holiday) ..
