I was doing slimming world until last night. I was doing it since June and haven't lost a single pound since Aug.

I think it's time for change. I am starting WW on Tuesday. Any body else up for joining me.

Well for some reason I have put a pound on since yesterday. So my loss this week is 3lb. Which is good I know but was expecting more as I had lost 4lb by Sunday.

Heres to another 3lb by next week. Hope everyone is doing well

S&S that is fantastic keep it up. See that is the dreaded scales again pulling us into a false sense of security.

I weigh myself first thing in the morning and last thing at night (I'm always a few pounds heavier at night)

Well my weigh in: (last week I stayed the same and I've had two days where I drank huge amounts of non pointed alcohol) So what do you reckon?

3lb off !

Which also means I have now lost 10%

Bad news is now I only have 17 points a day: Gah!

sagacious- what time do youhave your weigh in.... well done 3 lbs is fab.

The points is worryign me as once i get into the 8 stone bracket (as ideal weight is 8.7) i will only be allowed 16.... dont know how i am supposed to survive.

Am doing a 5 mile walk this weekend with my cousin and friend again, and my two sister in laws work for virgin active health clubs so have millions of free passes so am going to try and get one lot of swimming in.

Hello! Well Atkins went FAB til i stopped it after 2months! I had lost just over a stone and a half. Now I have put about a stone back on so its back on the WW for me now. Starting Monday so i will be on 4 some tips!

Jody - I think for me things like atkins are just not sustainable... i wouldnt be able to eat that way forever.

Am a SAHM, I shlep over there after the school/nursery run

I am counting down the mins till the kids are in bed then I will be drinking my 1 and 3/4 glasses of wine (3 points saved up for the use of!)

So what is the points scale anyway these days? How many points do you get? Is it the same for men or not? I was gonna do it at home and weigh at home rather than classes. I have the books that tell me how many points things are and I can remember a fair bit from last time but just not sure how many points you are meant to have! Can anyone help?

It is excellent, this lady has noted every point you want to know and you can work out your points for the day on there.

Ladies if you are worried about your points would you not change to core because then your extra 21 bonus points can be used on your alcohol?

Sagacious you must be happy with your weight now if you are on 17 points? I think thats about 4st lighter than e and would loooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeee to be that weight.

I've got 9lb to get to target

I find it fairly easy to drop the weight once I'm in the right mindset IYKWIM.. its the keeping it off and thinking of healthy eating as a lifestyle thats the problem.

Hey ladies,

I find core so restrictive and am very naughty with it, but have so far this week had pizza(about 4 slices) and a massive chinese tonight and a whole swiss roll (yes you read that right) Have had about 25 points each day.

Got to share my joy with you all that Turkey just beat Croatia to got thru to the semis in Euro 2008.

Am only eating WW meals and salads from today until weigh in. So peed off with myself

I had a chinese on Friday, went to a tapas bar on Sat and had quite a few glasses of wine and had an ice cream yesterday.

hello, was also a little naughty this week, going to a tapas and also having a pudding with it!!! But was not all bad as managed to lose a pound on sat's weigh in. The weekend was also not great as went out for dinner twice and to a buffet lunch at a friend's place - doh! Am going to have to be extra good to avoid a gain this week or alternatively run round the park a few hundred times!!!!
