I was doing slimming world until last night. I was doing it since June and haven't lost a single pound since Aug.

I think it's time for change. I am starting WW on Tuesday. Any body else up for joining me.

I do loads od cycling and go to aqua areobics once a week. But doing all this exercise hasn't helped me to lose weight any faster.

Did you see in the news this morning. They are chatting about giving everyone free swimming in the next 4yrs.

Greetings gels !
Back from weigh in

1.5 lbs off

Am pleased as although I've stuck to the diet I didn't think i'd lost any .. have got 13lb to go to get to target and I'm already panicking about the dreaded plateau

I should think about more exercise

I do a lot of thinking about it and not much actual doing IYKWIM

mixedmama · 06/06/2008 13:27

Well done .... I am doing the core plan this week in a bid that the change might shift a few extra pounds... but it feels abit weird, much prefer counting points. Is anyone else doing Core.

Yingers74 · 07/06/2008 22:44

ShortandSweet · 09/06/2008 19:31

Is there anyone from Brighton on here that might like to go for evening walks. Don't like doing it myself as I get bored.

OP posts:
sagacious · 09/06/2008 19:35

Ooooo I'd love to live in Brighton .. bet it was packed today though in the sunshine !
Sadly not near me though

I have been triple good and just had 16 out of my 19 points today as its my birthday tommorrow and I need extra points for the my own bodyweight extra glass of champagne I'm going to drink

sagacious · 09/06/2008 19:35

ShortandSweet · 10/06/2008 13:36

tah saga. I did some skipping today, felt like a 10 year old again! I was surprised how tired I got in a very short space of time, just shows how fit most kids are!

Yingers74 · 10/06/2008 14:36

would also love to live in brighton, am very jealous!

ShortandSweet · 10/06/2008 15:24

Forgot to say well done yingers on your loss.

Have weigh in tonight and have failed miserably on the Core Plan so not hopeful.

Yingers74 · 10/06/2008 17:11

good luck mixed! Have my fingers crossed for you.

Have been watching my girls devour fish fingers, sigh!

mixedmama · 11/06/2008 14:38

So after cursing the core plan all week I lost 2.5 lbs which is the most in a week since i started when you expect to lose a fair bit.

So I am on Core again this week and will revert to points after that i think.

My leader said it is always good to try something twice so you can be sure it is or isnt for you.

Ladies if any of you are in the NW London area my cousin and friend are doing our own 5 mile walk either around regents park or hampstead heath and anyone can join us... am probably going to take the kids this time... it will 21 June as we have decided to do every other week and will be about 10 am, so wont take the whole day... takes about 2 hours.

sagacious · 11/06/2008 19:14

I am hungover
I am also now 36 years old which means on points they take off a point so I am on 18 points a day

Snot fair

Yingers74 · 11/06/2008 19:18

Sag - no does not seem fair, Happy birthday anyway!

Mixed - well done, that is brill.

Yingers74 · 12/06/2008 13:49

just did my first bums, legs and tums class for about 6 years! Felt great afterwards but boy was it tough going! Am going to give aerobics a try on sunday, hopefully it has not gone all dance on me as my co-ordination ain't up to that!

mixedmama · 12/06/2008 15:54

Yingers it is tomorrow it wont be so great.

When I got my bike i thought it was great but the next day let me tell you was horrendous.

mixedmama · 12/06/2008 15:54

ShortandSweet · 13/06/2008 07:59

Can I join you please?

I've spent most of the morning reading through the thread so feel like I know you all already.

I did ww a few years ago and lost 2 stone, but since then I've put it all back on plus more.

I've got the calculator and the ww kitchen scales so will be doing it from home.

Started on Wednesday and was 13st 2lb.

I'm a mature student and have 15 weeks off for the summer before I return to uni in October. Would like to have lost 2 stone by the time I go back.

Yingers74 · 14/06/2008 22:41

I lost 4 and half pounds - hurray! Cannot believe it. But it motivates me to keep going!

Miawallace, welcome! And good luck. You can definitely do it.

ShortandSweet · 15/06/2008 06:44

Welcome Mia.

Yingers thats amazing, well done.

I have started core plan since Thursday and have already lost 4lb. Yeha
