Hi I just thought I would start my own thread so I can post daily!

I have recently started fasting and I am 10 days in and lost nearly 6lbs!

SW 15st 6.8
CW 15st 1

GW under 12st!

I am using a few apps to help.. Happy Scales.. I like the way this breaks it into 10 milestones so I have smaller weight goals to aim for. And Zero to track how many hours I have fasted. I have never tried fasting before but I feel like it’s using my willpower which I needed reminding that I had! MyFitnessPal i find if I don’t track my calories I forget what I’ve eaten. My goal is 1400 a day. And finally Fitbit.. I’m aiming for 10000+ steps a day.

Im a serial calorie counter! I got down to under 10st about 7 years ago and as amazing as I felt, I also felt amazing at 12st as my clothes were much more flattering on me. I had a baby last year and I’m nearly 10 months postpartum, frustratingly I actually lost weight after I had my son as I was so sick during pregnancy and then I have found breastfeeding made me super hungry and I piled weight on by constantly snacking. The breastfeeding has cut right down now and I am finding I am not as hungry and needed to kick myself into gear.

I have attached a pic of my MyFitnessPal weight log since 2015 to show how up and down I am!

@Cookiedough123 well done on your loss. Sorry your little one has been so poorly. Hope he's on the mend now.

13st 6lbs (and one 8th) this morning. So a very small loss again this week 🙄 less than half a lb! Feel like I have plateaued, and I'm getting frustrated with seeing 6lb on my scales!

However, I have fewer social plans over the next few weeks, so I'm going to try to be really focused and properly on plan. Hopefully, that will give me a bit of a reboot!

Morning @Bumblebeebum23 I was the same I had a very little to nothing loss and then the week after I was 4lbs lighter! Bizzare!!
Its definitely easier when there are hardly any social plans, my partner is terrible for wanting to eat out all the time- we had a lovely Italian on Saturday night but it resulted in me eating half a 12” garlic bread with cheese and a full 10” spicy pizza!! Then a cheeky 3 scoops of ice cream!! Must say it was delicious though!

My weigh in this morning was 13st 3.2 which is the same as the other day although yesterday had a slight increase to 13st 3.8.

My next goal is 13st I will be made up when I get in the 12 bracket!!

So far I am 31.6lbs down out of 50!

Have had my mum staying for the last three weeks, so lots of meals out and family meals. Back to normal routine today, so fingers crossed, I can actually start losing properly again. Really want to be out of the 13s before Christmas.

Morning another loss this morning I am 13st 2.6!

@Sugarfree23 thank you! At least it’s a stall and not a gain! Tbh youve just had a month of maintenance which I think is hard enough as it is! It’s such a hard time of year with the weather changing. You can’t get out as much as the weather is rubbish, early dark evenings, I feel like we eat out so much more! Look at the positive side that you haven’t gained during this time!

Well done all 😊 Finally, a bit of a loss for me too! 13st 4.5lbs this morning, so 1.5lbs lighter than yesterday. Hoping it's the start of a better month 🙏

Yes I guess I should see it as maintained. We did have two short breaks, both involved lots of eating out.

Thought I may have stopped fasting by now but it’s still working pretty well. Just on my lunch now and I manage till about 1pm on weekdays and 12 on weekends.

Had another surprising loss this morning I was 13st 1.6
My Wednesday to Wednesday loss this week is -3.8!

Dont know where that’s gone I bet it comes back tomorrow 😂

On the positive though I’m only 1.6lbs away from seeing the 12st number!! 🙏🤞

Seriously your doing fantastic. I wish I had your motivation to keep it going week after week, month after month.

Morning! Today I was 13st 1.4. Slowly edging to number 12. Expecting a gain soon as I have struggled to get more than 7000 steps this week and have also been snacking much more! My baby isn’t sleeping well and I have no motivation to get out on walks and eat well at the minute. On the plus though it’s the weekend tomorrow which means 2x lie ins to catch up on sleep 😂

13st 4lbs this morning. So 1/2lb lost since I last posted (on Tues) but 2lbs since last Monday's "official" weigh in.

Sw: 15st 9lbs
CW: 13st 4lbs
Tw: 10st

Continued mini goals-

13st 2lbs (2.5 stone loss) - 2lbs to go

And then move into the 12st bracket

Not a great weigh in for me this morning but I’m not that surprised as we’ve been out a lot! I was 13st 5.2! Which is a 4lb gain. I kept to my fasting but just ate more meals out and treats than I usually would have. Pretty confident at least 3lb is water weight. I find I can also counteract a weekend by eating better in the week. Just finding it hard to get my steps in at the minute with the dark nights and wet weather!

2lb loss is brilliant in a week. Yes a chunk of that gain has to be water.

Stayed the same. I've moved the remaining Halloween sweets out of sight. Which might help my cause. Booked a holiday at the weekend so have another target to hit.

Morning! I was 13st 4.0 this morning so down 1.2 but still another 2.6 to get back to my low! The treats I ate at the weekend was worth it though.. I’ll post a pic… I can’t say no to a cookie 😂 it helps that it was delicious. In fact my partner had to stop me from getting another!

@Sugarfree23 a holiday sounds excited when and where are you going? Like you said it gives you something to aim towards!

@Bumblebeebum23 we had mini packets of haribo left over too. My little boy is too young to eat them so I brought them into work and handed them out here to get rid! I can’t deal with having treats readily available as I have no willpower!

Morning!! I’ve been 13 2.8 now for a couple of days. Think I’m stuck 😂 I’ve found this week pretty hard and have had more chocolate than I would usually have.. Glad it’s Friday but weekends either make or break me! I have no major plans so I’m hoping I can keep a lid on myself not to snack too much!

I'm down at 12st 4.3 this morning the lowest I've been in a while. Just need to keep going. I've a night out Saturday so need to be careful.

@Cookiedough123 I'm the same this week. The scales aren't budging from 13st 4lbs. I have a very social weekend (with 3 meals out!) So not hopeful for Monday's weigh in. I was hoping to create a bit of a buffer during the week, but never mind! We will see.

I’ve had a really bad weekend! I have ate so much rubbish and felt myself falling back into old ways! It is so hard when you’re going to Christmas markets and there are sweet treats everywhere. Yesterday I managed a big walk but today it’s been so wet I only
managed 5000 steps and where I usually wait to eat at 1pm I got to 11.15! I was 13st 2.6 this morning. So I have stayed the same weight mostly all week. Going to really try and give myself a kick tomorrow and sort myself out as it only takes a few days for it to all go tits up! It’s also mad how I had been eating well and had so much more energy, motivation etc and now I just feel a bit flat and like I cba! I have obviously enjoyed my weekend and I think I need to find myself a balance between being good and allowing myself a treat but I haven’t found that balance yet.
