I definirely agree, Katy.
I have not bought anything really nice in ages lately. I've been buying stuff from supermarkets as I don't want to waste money on big clothes. I can't wait to lose my next stone. I have planned a major shopping trip just in time for summer!
I also think when you start to eat healthy and drink lots of water, you just look better as your skin and hair look better, your eyes are brighter and you stop looking so run down.
Win win situation

LMG - how exciting! you'll have to come and share the news as soon as it happens!

i was reading a "what on earth can i do with my butternut squash thread?" a while ago...i know, too much time on my hands....and someone on there said they left the skin on when they roasted them....my little ears pricked up with excitement.....not that i want to deprive you of any excercise

MrsFish · 13/03/2008 21:42

Hello all. Well I am on my lonesome for a few nights, DH has gone skiing with his mate. Why am I so good to him, letting him off on holiday all the time? I tell you I am due a weekend away on my own somewhere

I have just finished my nieces b'day cake I said I would make for her, its a barbie cake for her 4th b'day and I am well chuffed with it. I'm getting into this cake making lark, looks like I am going to be busy the next few years, what with my two nieces and two boys

B = 1oz Rice Krispies, 3floz skimmed milk, banana
L = 2 nimble and flora light, hot cross bun and fl, apple.
T = 3 mini pitta breads with ham, cottage cheese and salad.
S = 4 iced gems, 4 choc buttons (ds insisted)

1 litre squash, 1 can coke zero, 1 cup of tea, 1 cup of hot water and lemon, 1 cup of hot choc options.

No exercise though, too busy doing the cake

katylessbumpy · 13/03/2008 21:43

oh don't worry ,i left the skin on
i'm far to lazy to peel anything and isn't the skin the bit thats good for you.
it's 0 points on ww but i felt like i was eating something naughty
i need to get out more!
is it nice in soup?although i'm fed up with soup.i know it's good for me ( thanks fedda ) but i need something to chew ffs!

katylessbumpy · 13/03/2008 21:55

i don't mind getting up so early in the summer, there is something very calming about being up when nobody else is,the birds are singing and it's a brand new day.
it's not the same when it's greya nd blowing a gale

Morning, we were all up at 6.30 this morning after an initial wakeup at 5.40 Don't know what to do with myself, we are usually rushing to get ready for nursery and we now have loads of time AF has started today, that snuck up on me, I must start writing them down as now I am not on the pill I can't keep up with them

LoveMyGirls · 14/03/2008 07:49

Morning everyone!

I'm going to walk this morning
I've been good this week the worst i've done all week is have a custard cream and that's only 62 calories the WW bag of mini cookies is 400 cals so from now on think i'll stick to having the odd custard cream rather than buying expensive WW stuff! WW cookies = £2.25 for 5 bags, custard creams are 24p for a huge packet, no contest

Anyone any idea's what I can do for contraception? Really don't want to get pg again, had the mirena coil for the past 2 years but i've had enough of it now, what else can i do that wont make me put on weight?!?

LoveMyGirls · 14/03/2008 08:00

Not holding my breath on the proposal front just dont want to be fat if and when he does ask because i know i'll want to be out trying dresses on lol

Just looked back to the start of this thread and I pledged to lose 5lbs to get down to 11st by easter.........if i am 11 or less at WW tonight then i'll have reached my target!

Then I'll be looking to.....
lose half a stone by 19th April!
get to 10st by 23rd May
another half stone off by August (think weight loss will really have slowed down by then!)

Do able do you think?

katylessbumpy · 14/03/2008 08:06
