Wish i could do something like that, but i'm really bad at making cakes ....

lovemygirls...... what's wrong with the coil you had for 2 years...?? I'm curious as i want to change to the coil but dh isn't keen on the idea. I'm on the pill at the mo, but its really slowing my weightloss down, so i wouldn't recommend that!

LMG...dh says that my f**rts when i have eaen beans are the best contraceptive known to man ....but pre-proposal you might want something more romantic....have you ever used a cap...

Have made a discovery that may benefit others who get a bit bunged up....have been started on lepicol powder (just fibre and probiotics...get it from holland and barratt...expensive but will last for ages) put 2 tsp in a glass of water and drink (not the nicest drink in the world but not unpleasant...only a couple of cals per tsp as you don't absorb it...) then drink another glass of water and it fills you up for a while. Use it twice a day. Sod R conley....i'm on the lepicol diet

am currently resisting the big bag of samples dd got when her godmum took her to cadburyworld....have just had te buttons which she gave me

We are just pottering around today, the weather is awful, so the TV is on and I am considering making a fire because it is still chilly even with the heating on. The boys had a busy day yesterday and a late night so are both a bit out of sorts today. Ben was in the travel cot in my room last night as my friend and her little boy stopped over so they had the spare room and cot. Never again will I share a room if I can help it. I went to bed at midnight and he preceded to wake me up at 12.30, 1.30, 2.30 till 3.15, then Sam woke up at 3.30, then Ben woke up at 5.40 and 7.10 And DH continues to have fun skiing, drinking and sleeping

Oh well, I'm going to organise a couple of nights away with my Aunty, she is only 14 years older than me so we are quite close, and she said she will come away for a weekend with me somewhere

The cake went down well yesterday, my niece loved it, her face was a picture when it was carried in with the candles lit

dh is muttering about dressing up as the easter bunny on thurs for dd and her friends....he is apparently developing a surprise for them and i can't go in the garage as he is building it there??!!....please let it not be a bunny trap....some mums already think i have a weird sense of humour!

me and dd are by the fire with the paper (me) and cards to colour (dd..but i'm too tired to colour, whinge,whinge.....)

so far

small l/f cream cheese and salad roll, a few crisps and a homemade black treacle and sultana rock bun....quality control

then oven fish wedges and mushy peas tonight

Hi and thanks everyone, your support is really helping, i'm feeling so good about how much i've lost, my body is a different shape and i cant wait to lose the next stone and get into some nice clothes in summer!

MrsF well done with the cake, it looks fab!

Katy we all have to have an off day now and again, back to being good for me too.

I've got 1 and half pounds to lose this week to reach my 10% goal then i'm not sure what to set as my goal, i'd like to be 9 and a half stone but i know i'll struggle when i get to between 10 and 10 and a half and I can't afford to pay for WW when what i'll need by then will be gym membership to tone up and lose the rest........hummm what should i do?

L 2 crumpets and flora light, homemade scone and jam, hot choc options
S 2 funsize pkts of jelly tots (out of ds's party bag, he didn't like them
D Tin of Big Soup, 2 nimble and fl.

I eat far too much bead

Today will be

B 1oz Rice krispies, 3 floz skimmed milk, large pear.(200 cals)
L Tin of Big Soup, 2 nimble and flora light. (350 cals)
D Bag of BGTY Ceasar salad (280 cals) tin of tuna in spring water. (150 cals)

and any other snack/milk in tea to the amount of 200 cals.

morning girls....can't get in the garage...dh knows better than to trust me on things like this...i get too nosey... so he is carrying the keys with him.....

yesterday as planned foodwise, give or take an apple or two.....then i couldn't sleep in the middle of the night and ended up having a big bowl of muesli with a zillion cals (ok , not quite)

anyway, new day and all that...up and at 'em girls....Ra!Ra!

MRSF - I think the thing that has helped me is cutting out bread and cheese (i now treat bread like i would chocolate so i'm still having it very very occasionally!)

I'm living on porridge, salad, ww snacks and yogurts, fruit, veg and homemade meals like shep pie etc

Walking more and swimming once a week is all helping too i think.

Another 2-3months and I'll be looking fab i hope!

So what should I do? Set goal for 10 stone then join a gym? Set goal for 9.7stone and carry on swimming once a week in the hope it will tone me up enough to look good?

just to start the ball rolling...set it for 10 and join a gym then don't worry too much about weight....look in the mirror..does anything much wobble when you jump up and down(boobs ok of course/do you look good in your swimmy/measure self in inches rather than lbs....muscle heavier than fat they do say

ps have also cut down drastically on cheese over the last year....i find that if i eat it cold on a sarnie i feel like i'm just eating a lump of fat....yuk....no probs with it cooked tho'.....

mmm cheese on toast.
i feel like crap.my throat has got steadily worse over the course of the day.ithought i was just thirsty this morning and thats why it was a bit scratchy but ouch! it hurts now

lovemygirls set your goal at 5 below your highest weight for your height.you can then go as low as you like as long as you stay in youur healthy range and up to 5 lbs over before you have to pay
thats how i did it.

ok,can i have a bit of advice?
i'm not at ww on wednesday due to dd hospital appointment.shall i weigh in at home or ignore the scales and just weigh in next week?

So, how the devil are you all? Been up to much? Not had a look back on thread as I just wanted to get on and say hi, before it goes again! or as the case really is!

I've been doing SW really strictly for a week now. As in, it took me a few weeks to really ease myself into it! but, really loving it! Actually, I was really really pleased, when i gave us all dinner on thursday, and served up my portion, and had a little bit of mince and a load of pasta. Mr C nearly fell off his chair when I told him I was on a diet, and had been all week.

So, not weighed myself yet, but feel like I have lost some. not alot but a pound or 2 maybe? Don't think I'll be hitting my easter target somehow, but i konw i'll not be far behind.

I'm having a day off today, from it, as Isobel has been poorly with terrible tummy upset. She could literally shit through the eye of a needle bless her. went through 12 nappies today, so I've got her in disposables now, can't keep up with the washing. Anyway, can't keep up with cooking too. I've had alot of fruit, and bag of butter toffee popcorn. ( 7 syns ) and a large bowl of shreddies. Guess I could still count those as healthy extra... hmm, not sure....

I don't think somehow I can count the cream egg and the milky bar egg i've eaten 3 of though [blush

thanks mrsfish,i think i'll wait until next week.i can't remember if my scales weigh heavier or lighter than ww so i'd be none the wiser anyway.
looks like i've got an extra week to reach my easter target of 8 lbs
