Hi all. Just spotted the previous thread filled up so thought I’d start a new one quickly.

I've never had any unwanted side-effects at all - at any dosage. I'm 6 months in and on 1mg now.

Thanks @mumwheresmyribena Did you go up gradually in .25 increments? Will you increase again from here?

@Bwen 4 weeks at .25, 10 weeks at .5 and the rest at 1. I don't see myself increasing, 1 is working slowly but consistently for me

I had no side effects on 0.25 for 2 months, or on 0.5 for a few months. I bottled going up to 1mg in one jump and took 0.75 instead, and had 2 days of sulphur burps. Which I didn't like, so I went back to 0.5. Which is handy as 1mg is no longer available!

I started Ozempic six days ago after being on Saxenda for a year (gp suggested I switch) but it's not cutting my appetite! Can I increase to 0.5 tomorrow?

Does anyone know where I can find 1mg online or in London with a prescription note?

I was wondering what you guys would advise - I have 1 pen left from my juniper (unused) but I’ve literally just found another pen in the fridge from before my holidays 6 weeks ago. It has 3 doses left in it, and given the shortages I really want to use it. Will it still be effective? The idea of binning 3 doses makes me want to cry!

If the liquid still looks clear and it has been in the fridge it should be still fine to use I think.

I’m pretty sure you can use up
to expiry date as long as been in fridge. On mine it had a long expiry date, can’t remember how long but was absolutely ages. So you should be fine

It should be six weeks from starting the pen however as others have said, if the fluid was clear and it had been in the fridge I think I would use it. It is bloody expensive!

I finally seem to be loosing weight again. The first 3 stone were easy to lose but the forth stone is taking such a long time. I have however lost 1kg this last week as Nd now on 1.25 dose of Ozempic.

I have managed to get my wedding ring back on my finger this morning for the first time in about 4 years. It gave me a real buzz.

Hi @caringcarer been trying to keep an eye out for you, I think we started around the same time. I'm still sticking at 0.75 doses due to shortages. I had a bit of a stall/stick over the last few weeks but managed 2.5lbs this week. My ring's loosening off now, I've made DH promise to buy me a new eternity ring for my birthday in November, it's such a simple thing to go by though isn't it these little "wins" as I like to call them. I've got a pile of clothes ready to try on that I haven't worn in years as were always snug that I'm going to use to gauge and I'm sure will make me feel even better. We got this 🥰.

@Diedre44 don't make the same mistake I did. I knew I had 3 sizes, 2 sizes and 1 size smaller clothes but put off trying it in. Then when I tried the one size smaller was too big. So I went straight down 2 sizes which felt fantastic. Every time I lose a stone DH buys me a piece of jewelry. I've had a bracelet, and 2 new rings. Next I'm on the lookout for earrings. I hope you can keep getting the medication. My GP put me on it so I got mine from the NHS and so far I've not had a problem getting it.

I’ve eeked out my last pen to 0.75mg doses and have 2 left. I just got a stock update for VSC and tried to buy a 1mg pen. It didn’t work as I was too slow re answering the questions. So I’ve managed to get hold of 14mg Rybelsus. Has anyone had any experience of having to swap and change through necessity?

I would of course rather stick to Ozempic, I’ve been really successful on it, and I started before the supply became a real issue. But equally I’ve found my motivation lacking the last few weeks, stressing that I’d not be able to stay on semaglutide. I’m hoping that knowing I have 6 weeks of doses for now will be a kick up the bum to shift another stone. And also kids back to school soon which is always handy, the lack of routine is a bit of a killer.

@PlasticineKing - I’ve been using the VSC too but have never had a stock update from them. Is that something you signed up for?

I signed up for the ozempic restock emails. I’ve had one before but didn’t see it for 2 hours so it was all gone. This time I saw it by chance about 10 mins after I got it, went straight on, but missed out on it as I had to do a re-consult/update all my details. It wasn’t working at all even though it was in my basket and still showing as stock. I just clicked on Rybelsus on the off chance. I knew it was ok to use as Manual had tried to put me on it before supply was terrible. I was a bit doubtful that the stock alerts would work but I’m glad they do!

Thanks @PlasticineKing. I’ll try that. I have taken Rybelsus before when travelling as thought it would be easier but have to say I didn’t like it. But needs must and if it was my only option I’d try again.

@Peridot1 i would much rather stay on Ozempic, but this is better than nowt!

Has anyone else had an email from Juniper saying that Wegovy is coming soon? I would love that to be the case, but everything I’ve read suggests 2024!

I have never been a customer of My Juniper, nor have i ever contacted them. That means that somebody has sold on my details to them, or, its a scam (it has a clicky link which i havent clicked).

Not impressed either way.

Has anyone ordered from RightAngled online? I'm not sure I trust it but looking everywhere...

@BrendaLee I ordered two pens from Rightangled a couple of weeks ago. No problems at all, delivered the next day. What are you concerned about?
