does anyone know where in the supermarket the dry falafel mix is... because when i have have that i really enjoy.... but cant find it any more...

i really must do this it si affecting my life i hate going out, force myself to go to work...

we have had lots of parties/ discos... tea at frinds this week which i have forced myself to go to to keep the kids sane.... but the food there has not helped....

VeniVidiVickiQV · 22/02/2008 20:41

chocolate - have you looked in the specialist food/halal/kosher aisle?

Have saved points all day for my Friday night bacon roll and a good portion of crisps.

Am not feeling great. Have horrendous period pains. I'm not craving chocolate thankfully. I may attack the biscuits shortly though....

chocolatespiders · 22/02/2008 21:07

Not right now I'm not. I've just gorged 6 biscuits....

but thank you

Eddas · 22/02/2008 21:14

6 biscuits
shouldn't really comment since my diet today has included a crunchie(I blame you lot as you said it was low points) some frazzels(yum!) and some mini chedders(yum!) I felt a bit bloated after them all though I vowed not to do it again. We'll see

We went to the shops and I bought some apples, grapes, cherries and pears to keep me off biscuits and cookies and chocolates and all the rest

colditz · 22/02/2008 22:08

I just made some really delicious soup.

1 red pepper
1 red onion
3 grated carrots
1 tin of tomatoes

chop. frizzle, add toms and 1 tin water, bubble for 30 minutes, salt and pepper (and chilli if you like!) to taste, blend and serve.

Point free and scrumpy!

chocolatespiders · 23/02/2008 12:56

oh no i cant find the dry mix of falafel... my tesco not stocking it anymore.. dont think i can make my own...

anywhere else anyone knows where sells it?

moodlumthehoodlum · 23/02/2008 16:17

ChocolateS keep with it. I'm not doing very well, and can't even say its hard to stick to, as I'm not really even dieting.

I just had 3 h/m mince pies I found in the freezer .

But, am going to sainsburys in a minute (oh joy) and am going to write up a menu plan, find the falafel (that should be the thread title of our next thread) and get lots of things to make nul points soup with.

Will report back on Sainsbury's falafel situation.

Feel a bit sick after those mince pies. Bleugh.

chocolatespiders · 23/02/2008 16:30

brill thanks.... i started a thread in search of it !!!! because it is a bit of a diet saviour for me... thats when i diet!!!

have a good healthly shopping trip

fedda · 23/02/2008 16:56

B - poridge with honey and grapes made with semi-skimmed milk
l - eating out - warm bread sticks with dips; pan fired fillet of dori with herby mash and peas; banana pieces from kids' desert.
Will have some snack later and I'm going to have a cup of tea with 1 sugar now.

loler · 23/02/2008 18:03

I win the prize for worst wagon fall of the day - just got back from a chinese buffet. ould have been worse I only went up once for starters, once for main and once for pudding. - must have had about 100 points!

Choc - try holland and barrett for falafel mix. They quite often have special offers on that sort of thing too.

fedda · 23/02/2008 18:51

No, you don't. I just had 2 muffins i made for my kids. I had to try them with my tea with 1 sugar. So, who is worst?

moodlumthehoodlum · 23/02/2008 19:41

No falafel mix in Sainsburys. . Spent so long looking for it, the weekly shop took me an hour and a half.

Tomorrow I am going to make soup. Lots of it.

Thanks for the hot tip on falafel mix in H&B. Its a bit of a faff(-alefel) to find. I bet they sell it Waitrose.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 23/02/2008 20:49

Not a great day. Took DD to a party. Had a cupcake, a chocolate krispie cake, and some crisps and host had no sweeteners so sugar in tea too! Could have been worse I suppose.

Just had a WW pizza and bGTY garlic bread. Still got some points left.

Still got a sore stomach today. Am feeling quite miserable. I dont want to weigh myself tomorrow. I know i'm retaining water and i've had the worst week diet wise since i started.

fedda · 23/02/2008 21:45

it's weekend, we all have some treats, birthdays or not . I made muffins for my boys and ended up having 3 (2 with tea and 1 sugar0 and 1 with tea and 1 sugar. I don't use sweeteners and I weight sugar and i take around 6g of sugar each time and in a day it's 30 to 40 g of sugar, I think a small bar of chocolate is around 35 g so i think it's not too bad

chocolatespiders · 23/02/2008 21:48

oh no cant belive the hunt for falafel is still going... i am gutted it is not stocked anymore> will try asda tomorrow

fedda · 23/02/2008 22:16

mammyjo · 24/02/2008 14:38

Hi all. Havent been around much as have been working. I have had a much better week this week. Went out yesterday and ate and drank a lot, but I saved 3 or 4 points every other day so hoping it will be ok.

Choc, if you dont find the falafel mix I could get you some next time I go to tescos and post it to you? Let me know, I really wouldnt mind

Hope everyone is having a good day, will be back tomorrow and will hopefully have lost something this week!

fedda · 24/02/2008 19:26
