Anyone else with 2.5 stone (15kg) to lose?

Hello,
I was wondering if there were a few people who have a similar amount of weight to lose as me who would like to join a little support group.
I find the massive threads a bit overwhelming, and can't relate as much to those needing to lose half a stone or 5 stone. So ideally I'd love a couple of people starting in Jan who are aiming to lose a similar amount.
I'm not planning on doing a specific diet, just eating a lot less rubbish really. My aim is to be done by July 🤞

Someone at work just asked me if I was intentionally trying to lose weight as apparently I visibly slimmed down. Its true that my jeans are quite loose now but I didn't think it was evident for anyone but myself. Thought it only start showing when you lose 10% of body weight of something so was quite happy

Stayed the same on the scales this week, which is fine after my calorie laden weekend off last week. I think I’d have sneaked a loss if I’d been able to run as planned this week but the bloody snow has scuppered that, I’m everything crossed that it will let up and parkrun will be on tomorrow!

Still not weighing till Monday but have just started my period and have an event with a large buffet on Sunday so not too hopeful. I have been very strict this week though so hopefully it will even out at some point. I'm going to eat what i want at the event but not eat 'just because its there so will see how that works out.

Morning all - would love to join..... I started 3rd Jan following the Michael Moseley 8 Week Blood Sugar Diet. I’ve finished the 8 weeks but have decided to continue through March to try get to a two stone loss. Then I’ll try and lose the remaining 5lb without following the diet.

SW - 13st 5lb
CW - 11st 10lb
GW - 11st

So 23lb loss in 10 weeks but it has been haaaaaaard going...

I weighed this morning and I'm up a pound. It's natural fluctuations. As long as the trend is downwards over the next few weeks I don't mind. I did eat out over last weekend but otherwise was on track. You gotta live a little! I do notice more muscle definition though. The scales is not the only measurement - keep going! 💪

FINALLY got out for a run today, parkrun cancelled this morning here due to snow/ice, but it got much warmer (and wetter) as the day went on - so 5.5km in the rain this afternoon followed by a lovely warm bath!

Had lunch out so estimated calories - I think I’ve probably gone over in total for the day but it was all healthy choices (avocado, salmon etc… mayyybe too much bread 🤣)

I'm calorie counting using My Fitness Pal, and the first week is going well apart from Friday night. Feeling hopeful for my weigh in next week 🤞

I’m still here. Though, I had surgery less than a week ago so I am taking a week or 2 off plan to comfort eat.

The scale has budged downwards by 1 lb exactly.

Goal weight 10st 10 - normal BMI range.

Would like to be under 10 once I achieve goal weight.

2lb off this morning which is good going as on my period and had a shared buffet at the weekend. Had some cake which was delicious but so rich it made me feel a bit queasy after which is helpful as it's made leaving the leftovers for DP much easier lol.

C/w 11st 5lb
G/w 9-10st

That makes 1st 2lb loss in 7 weeks which I'll take. 3 weeks to go until goal event one so should be into the 10s by then which is on track. 8 weeks until goal event two so if I lose 2lb a week, every week, I will be at a healthy BMI. Stretching goal but possible.

Week 2 - 2lbs loss but wasn't 100% strict.

Total loss 5.5 lbs (after my failed start in January).

Please can I join again? I saw this thread and commented on it but then ignored it totally and have managed to put on another half a stone.

But the time is now to change! I hope I can catch up.

My goal weight is the weight I was before getting pregnant - so about 3 years ago.

No loss for me this week, but that's not unexpected- I've had a really shit week with other things and frankly haven't made any effort to diet at all.

Hopefully everything will get back on an even keel now and I can carry on the good work!

CW 73.6 2.5weeks the same no loss from either scales or measurements
GW 70kg
I think iv hit plateau so need to up my calories to maintain for 2 weeks to drop down again

I also need to start some light workouts but that is something I keep downloading on my phone in the evening with great intentions then I never get round to it. 😂(can never be bothered more like it)

Week is ok so far - food has been fine, all usual choices, all planned and accounted for. Exercise was going well then I caught a stupid cold and now I’m a snotty, coughing mess who could barely run for 10 mins this morning 😢 - I couldn’t not go and try though because I really want to keep motivated and my stamina increasing but today was a disaster if I’m honest.

Tomorrow is body pump and then I might try todays run again on Friday if I’m feeling better.

Been listening a lot to the Zoe nutrition podcast, and the doctors kitchen podcast. Focusing on adding all the really healthy good stuff in, and it seems to be pushing out any temptation/room for the bad stuff!
