Anyone else with 2.5 stone (15kg) to lose?

Hello,
I was wondering if there were a few people who have a similar amount of weight to lose as me who would like to join a little support group.
I find the massive threads a bit overwhelming, and can't relate as much to those needing to lose half a stone or 5 stone. So ideally I'd love a couple of people starting in Jan who are aiming to lose a similar amount.
I'm not planning on doing a specific diet, just eating a lot less rubbish really. My aim is to be done by July 🤞

Day 22. Weigh-in day. 6lbs off in total.

SW: 10st 7
CW: 10st 1
GW: 8st

I took another progress photo and I could really see a difference in this photo compared to my starting one. My back fat has shrunk down loads…. and my bottom looks a bit rounder (in a good way!).

Fidgetbottom you should take measurements too. Last year I got down as I didn’t see much change on the scales but did with measurements and lost 6inches off my waist after 8 weeks . Really good motivator - well done on the 6lbs too

@rogueone Thank you! I do wish I had taken some measurements at the beginning, but I suppose better late than never! 6inches off the waist in 8 weeks is incredible!
I am feeling so glad I took photos. It’s nice to actually ‘see’ a difference!

Just back from a walk with the pram :) feeling refreshed! Done the shop so all low healthy soups etc. didn't have milk roll so had to go with danish loaf at 62kcal per slice

I've been ill this week so my eating habits have got a bit weird - had a take away yesterday but because that was all I wanted to eat but mostly lived on hot tea and fruit juice today so hopefully all will balance out when I feel better again.

I'm still going strong!
Early weigh in this morning and I've lost 3lbs this week
SW - 13st 4lbs
CW - 12st 9lbs
TW - 11st 7lbs

I'm feeling really motivated still. I've got something planned next weekend which means I'll be off diet for a day or two. I think that helps though because I can't always be dieting. The odd day here or there keeps me sane.
I really do need to up the exercise though. I plan to start walking with DD after work - I couldn't last week as I was working a lot in the evenings.
Well done to everyone on another week!

I had a rubbish day, broke my 16:8 fasting, had cake for breakfast, toasted teacake for lunch, big dinner, haven't drink any water, haven't drink enough full stop. Had lots of exercise though walking. I'll weigh in tomorrow but not expecting anything great 😬

Mixed week. I was 2kg lighter in the middle of the week than I am now. But that's the nature of scales and me. Just need to make sure that the next weigh in is a bit lower....

Not such a good day for me yesterday with a large glass of wine and a big chocolate bar. Was good apart from that though.

So weigh in day.
Start weight 76kg
New weight 71kg
Target weight 60kg

Loss of 5kg or 11lbs and bmi is now 27.7

that's awesome @iamloading no loss for me again this week so I am same as was on 1st Jan! At least no more gain though, have done yoga 5days this week and definitely feel more energetic. I was snacking loads last week and also embarrassingly I think I had worms! I've taken some ovex and definitely feel less hungry. I'm going to plan my weekly shop today with some better snack choices. I think I ate a choc biscuit and pack of crisps every day last week so need to stop that. I'm going to try the Noom trick of snacking on watery fruit so will get lots of grapes, watermelon etc later. Hopefully I'll see some results at next weeks weigh in!

Well done everyone! Just weighed in and lost another pound. Looks like this might be the way forward. A bit disappointing that I have no big loss but a pound is a pound. 😀

Weigh in Today and lost 2lbs although had a bit of an off day yesterday so could have been better i feel!
Starting weight - 13lb 13oz
Current weight - 13lb 7oz
Target weight - 10lb 7oz

2lb loss for me this week. Plan today is strength training activity, lunch of carrot and coriander soup, dinner leftover beef brisket from yesterday cooked into a curry, with rice. May need to try and up my steps later - apart from the school run I’ve just sat at my desk - have some big reports to get finished so I’m going to be very sedentary today.

I was just at an American diner for lunch, which is obviously a low cal nightmare. Thought sod it and ordered a cheeseburger. Except they made a mistake and when it came it was child's size! Saved me from myself 😂😂

That's amazing OP. Your start weight and goal are almost the same as mine. I lost 2kg at the beginning (some of it just my period I think) and then stopped losing and then fell off the wagon for a week. I'm back on it today. I'll weigh tomorrow. Start was 74kg and goal is 60kg though 55kg would probably be healthier.

@MonsoonMadness I'm doing 16:8 fasting and low cal for now, mainly anyway. I have breakfast, a little protein for lunch and then early dinner, no food after that.

@beepbeepme , I'm also doing 16:8. When do you have your meals? I'm currently eating at 12.00, 3.30 (snack) and 6.30 (dinner) but not sure it's working that well.

How are you finding it? It's the first time I've tried it but I'm actually finding it surprisingly easy up to now. We tend not to eat late even if we're going out, and it stops me snacking in the evening.

I have breakfast at 9.30, a small lunch of soup or just a piece of cheese because my doctor told me to get some protein during the day, then dinner at 5 pm. After that I only have water or black decaf coffee. I've managed to cut out all snacks that way.

Day 23. Some impromptu jam on toast has dented my calorie deficit today… but also the bread is now gone which will help me tomorrow. Bread is so dangerous to have in my house.

Weigh in today - 67.9 kg so up 0.8kg from this time last week. :( Not massively surprised as have had a couple of takeaways, sweets and chocolate (and wine) over the last week and started my period a few days ago. Back on the straight and narrow now! Have a holiday booked for 12 weeks time which should help with the motivation. Have signed myself up for a half marathon in may as well in a bid to force myself out running!

Start 13 st 3lb
Week 2: 12st 12lb
Week 3 12st 12lb
Week 4 (today) 12 st 11lb.

A bit disappointed cos I had a sneaky weigh in yesterday and it read 12 st 10lb!! But I have just got back from a boot camp so maybe all that strength training has affected it (not to mention all the clutching at straws I'm doing here!😂)

Still it is 1lb off. Slow and steady I guess.
