Anyone else with 2.5 stone (15kg) to lose?

Hello,
I was wondering if there were a few people who have a similar amount of weight to lose as me who would like to join a little support group.
I find the massive threads a bit overwhelming, and can't relate as much to those needing to lose half a stone or 5 stone. So ideally I'd love a couple of people starting in Jan who are aiming to lose a similar amount.
I'm not planning on doing a specific diet, just eating a lot less rubbish really. My aim is to be done by July 🤞

A better day for me today.

Breakfast: a ryvita with a little butter and very thin cheese. A coffee with milk.
Lunch: a small slice of stollen my dd has baked for me.
Dinner: cauliflower cheese with 2 rashers of bacon and a coffee with milk

I weighed myself this morning and had gone to a lb since I last weighed, hopefully just fluctuation. Doesn't really matter, I need to keep going!

I had a really busy workday today, took lunch with me but caved to DH suggestion of chippy tea through tiredness tbh. I had a chicken tikka kebab in a pitta bread which MFP seems to want to charge me 1000 kcal for. I’m not really convinced tbh.

If it’s direct I’ve had about 200 more calories today than my limit, but honestly I’m not bothered. These changes have to be sustainable and fit in with life after all!

I squeezed in a short run after work too!

First weigh in today. 4lbs lost. I know next week will be tougher as it’s week 2 and my period week.

Horrified to see that I'd only lost quarter of a pound in two days when I didn't have any of the five birthday cakes at work yesterday. Surely that self restraint was worth at least a full pound?!
Stern reminder that that's not quite how it works! But how lovely if it was...

A good day so far, I’ve only eaten lunch as I’m pretty busy, and dinner won’t be until late this evening due to running kids around various after school activities.

DH has bought steak for later and it’s not really my thing (not a huge red meat eater) so I’m having tuna steak with salad and new potatoes. Considering cooking them in the air fryer while I’m typing this actually, crispy roast potatoes instead?

Lots of steps today and planning a strength workout after dinner. So all good here, hope everyone else is doing well as we approach the weekend!

An ok day for me. Walked two miles.

Breakfast: 2 rashers bacon, 1 fried egg and baked beans, coffee with milk.
Lunch: a banana
Dinner: hm chilli con carne with added veg and a little natural yoghurt, coffee with milk, a tangerine

Feeling annoyed with myself. Cooked too many oven chips tonight and ate them rather than giving myself a smaller portion.

Day 20. Really bad day for me.

I went and did a really really huge shop full of meats and other good stuff for all the meals I had planned… but I also couldn’t resist loads of new and exciting stuff in the shop and ended up also buying a load of snacks, which I have promptly eaten (every single sweet snack!).

I just sat and added all those wrappers up… I have had roughly 3000 calories today.

Chalking it up to a “refeed day”. I am not going to punish myself, just going to draw a line under it and get back on it tomorrow

Gone off the rails this week, especially yesterday. So annoyed with myself. Stressful week but that shouldn't be an excuse. Found a bag of Christmas party mix and ate the lot. Must get back on it.

Sorry to those of you having had bad days / weeks. Keep going - it's the long term that counts.
Still being good here (sorry!) interim weigh in today and I'm 71.1 so that's a 4.9kg loss since Jan 2nd.
Very happy with that!

Cheeky early weigh in. 78.3kg today. After last week feeling deflated this week has paid off. I'm now happy to slow the pacestill been eating normally but with in moderation and getting in my brisk walk everyday.
Starting weight 1/1/23 82.3kg
Today weight 21/1/23 78.3kg
I didn't get any pictures as I really couldn't bring myself to but waist measurement have gone down too feeling positive as I can also maintain my new eating and walking.

Weigh day. 2lbs down, total of half a stone now.

Been on full flow with AF this week and had a Chinese last night as much needed! Still stuck to intermittent fasting though from Sunday night to Friday lunch time.

Still here and going OK. Went to gym class yesterday and going to gym today as kids are out with their dad.
I went out for lunch wednesday but did try and have healthy ish choices.
The key for me is if i do have something bad don't just give up but try and be good rest of time.

I've noticed apple fitness plus now have kick-boxing classes! I'll be trying one of them next week for sure!

Still in a good mindset but I have relaxed a bit today. We had cake from an independent bakery so I really don’t know the calories, and DH cooked dinner while I was out, so I don’t know that either. But, I have only had a normal portion and no other snacks today so I’m just saying that’s today - full stop.

Tomorrow I’ll be stricter as I know what we are cooking and I’m planning a run in the morning plus a walk with a friend in the evening. Frost and ice permitting!

I think my face looks better - the start of a double chin has receded so I feel happy with what I have achieved so far but I want to keep going.

Day 21. Much better day than yesterday. Snacked on 2 mini lemon and raspberry battenbergs but other wise, been a pretty healthy day.

Hope the scales are kind to me tomorrow but I feel very bloated today so we shall see.

Still here also. Not been such a good day foodwise today- Pringles, goddammit. And roast lamb with cheesy mash and a ready made garlic and cheese stuffed mushroom.

But, I only went a couple of hundred calories over, and I'm fairly sure I've got some calories 'saved' from earlier in the week so not too bad.

Also, DP and I went on a long walk up and down hills today (fell on my butt, boo!) which the activity tracker on my phone only measured in steps, so I may have used up more than I think.

Will find out on Tuesday I guess.

Weigh in today and I've put on the half kilo I lost last week.
Disappointed as I've honestly been so good. I'm due on next week so I hope it's that.

Joined the local gym this week as well, as my gym closed just before Christmas because of fuel prices.
Was such a shame as they managed to weather COVID, but their monthly bill went from 1k to 5k.

Planning on gym Monday Wednesday and Friday and will continue to meal plan.

Can only hope it shows on the scales next week.

I keep telling myself that it doesn't matter if I have one bad day- after all, I must have had 'good' days over the last couple of years where I didn't overeat, yet that didn't mean I didn't put on the weight overall. Bad days outweighed the good.

So now it's the same thing, but in reverse. One 'bad' day does not equal no weight loss overall. Good days will outweigh the bad. Eventually 😂

Had a Nando's last night 🫣 and because it was delayed when collecting, they gave us 2 free deserts..!! Sake lol!

Going to shop soon for my work lunches (soups again with some milk roll and some rice cakes for a mid afternoon snack).

I've updated my goal on MFP to lose another 3.5kg but I think I'll try do a kickboxing class on apple fitness later!

I’m in the zone today. Just smashed the final run of week 3 C25k and I enjoyed myself. Have made a cheese salad sandwich for lunch, dinner is slow cooker beef brisket with mash and green veg.
