katylessbumpy · 02/02/2008 13:36

currantbunmum · 02/02/2008 14:32

5 o'clock is not funny! How do you manage?

Wont tell you what I have just had, clue:- we are getting party bags ready for DD1 birthday!

mylittlepudding · 02/02/2008 18:04

Think it's fixed now.

I've only just got her to 5 - it used to be earlier. She is finally sleeping through til then most nights though. Tried earlier/ later bedtimes - think it's just her body clock. I aim to go to bed at 9. It's the only way to survive really!

pollywobbledoodle · 02/02/2008 20:56

evening all
oh what a lot of posts to go through!
Love the new hair katy! (not sure what was happening with the face tho....we'd call it "having a right fisog on yer" )

Oh, MLP that little girl of yours is gorgeous! (and i want her wellies!) Good luck with the move. Did i get it right, is it just you and dd going over? well done on sorting out childcare double quick.

Hi susie....are you going to be the next "body of slimfast"?

well done to all the other losers(in weight, not life )

I seem to be gradually getting better, sleeping less and a bit more mobile. My jeans suggest an increase in lard/bloat but am going easy on myself and avoiding the scales and panic....i've done it before etc
can you bring the waggon back for me in a few days

katylessbumpy · 03/02/2008 02:42

polly

The wagon makes regular stops, infact, I think it stops daily just outside your front gate. All you have to do is give a wave.

MrsFish · 03/02/2008 10:23

I really am not going to be starting february well, I will definitely not be losing weight this week I have had over 1700 cals for the last three days and no exercise Really don't think I can rectify it 3 days. Oh well, back to it next week

Morning, officially on board now!! Diet started on Friday. Feeling fairly positive, made some celeriac and celery soup yesterday, haven't blended it yet, will let you know what it's like. Trying to think up lots of 'free' recipes to keep in the fridge. I'll read through all posts when I get a chance!

Hopeysgirlwasntbig · 03/02/2008 11:23

I'm SOoooooo hungry...and it's the first time DH has relinquished his laptop for days. So...I'm trying to distract myself.

It's pasta tonight (small portion for me of course) and lots of free veg. I agree about the mushrooms Katybumpless. They're magic...just bog standard mushies, not the real magic kind. I confess...I never tried those.

But mushrooms are certainly the food of the gods. I like the big ones grilled with tomatoes and onions and a sprinkle of low fat cheese or Apetina. HEAVEN...and not too many points!

In fact, that grill's calling now. I'm offski for my pre-tea snack!

belcantavinissima · 03/02/2008 17:08

dh left last night to fly to vietnam this morning. he wont be back til a week tomorrow and i think i have been def comfort eating today. he has gone to visit his son from a previous relationship (his mum teaches over there) so feeling a bit weird about it. i will blame her if i have put on weight this week!

LoveMyGirls · 03/02/2008 19:58

Hi everyone, I've been very very naughty!
I've been to a family meal and I've had wine, yorkshire puds, profitteroles, choc sauce, cake..........oh dear!!!

Need to be very very good this week now! (TMI- i'm due on this week and that always makes me crave sweet stuff!!!)

It's our anniversary tomorrow as well though I've said I'll have steak and jacket pots and veg instead of traditional steak and chips and I'll have strwberries and melon with a very tiny drizzle of melted choc on top for pudding while dp is having new york cheese cake which looks delish!

How am I going to salvage this week?? I'm thinking if i'm really really good and I walk alot I can pull it back and still lose at least 2-3lbs, what do you lot think?

Wendyjayb · 03/02/2008 20:12

Just done my 3rd session with Nell McAndrew and i'm well and truly knackered
Just hope it's worth it tomorrow

squilly · 03/02/2008 20:25

belcantavinissima...I'd have eaten several bars of chocolate in your place. Console yourself with the thought that it's just a blip. You can get back on the wagon when you're feeling a bit stronger. I think the weak moments are the ones that get us all off the straight and narrow. Be strong...DH will be back soon!!

LoveMyGirls...Ah! the sunday lunch thing!! It only happens on Sundays, usually....and I always crave the sweet things when I'm due on too, so at least you know it's a short term thing. And you're being so sensible with the meal tomorrow. I'm sure you'll have lost a few pounds again..

Wendyjayb...you sound like a complete star. I wish I had the energy to do any sessions with Nell McAndrew...or anyone else for that matter! Mindyou...I'm due to circuit training on Tuesday for the first time in weeks, so I'll probably be on whining about it on Wednesday morning.

Off to iron away some calories (o.k. I know ironing doesn't use a lot of calories (mores the pity) but at least if I'm doing something with my hands I won't be snacking!)

Happy Sunday....

katylessbumpy · 03/02/2008 22:17
