It would appear that all I do is stuff my face with crap, lots of crap.

I'm going to try and sort myself out, starting tomorrow.

I'm scared, I'm useless at dieting but it's getting serious. I'm so unhappy, I caught sight of myself in the window walking past Costa coffee today. It was grim.

Anyone want to join me?

Weigh day tomorrow.

Well I’ve lost 1lb. Which I’m good with, it’s probably just water as only been a couple of days, but I’ve not put weight on for first time in ages! Shopping today, so sat here trying to meal plan.

Lunch time today I had caulflower satay with obligatory sprouts, have them with most meals! I didnt eat the throw! I used it for photo purposes (actually I was snuggled under it eating lunch :)

Yesterday went well, I'm keeping drinking my water and trying not to inhale the biscuit tin.

Today's meals:
Lunch - ryvtia, marmite and cottage cheese, salad and an apple.
Dinner - chicken fajitas, maybe with a few homemade wedges.

Weekends tend to be my undoing, so I'm doing a meal plan and food shop tonight.

Well done, you sound like you have it all under control, are you using an app to plan your meals?

I am using nutracheck as have to make sure I have under 130g carbs as well as under 1200 cals, but also need lots of fibre and protein so this app helps show me what I have to eat, mine is to do with diabetes though as well as weight loss

mixed day today with crappy breakfast, healthy lunch and a run earlier in the day.
Saw a good tip re motivation, basically don’t wait until you feel motivated cos a lot of the time you won’t. Losing weight is about persistence, sticking at it while making sure that you still enjoy yourself.
If you make it too hard you won’t be able to keep it up.
I always start motivated and then lose patience.

Weighing in every 4 days at present but in the past 4 days I have lost precisely zero. And my body fat % has gone up by 0.1
Eating too much. Especially between meals snacks. Not enough exercise.
Must do better.

Checking in to try and keep on track as I've got munchies at the moment while I watch a film and trying to resist.
Honestly I think I should be a size 8 by now!
Been fairly good food wise today but only did a dog walk exercise wise.

I'm regretting scrolling back through posts and reading about Five Guys. My mouth is watering now! Those chips are so good.
I'm checking in as I'm having an OK weekend but not a good weekend and need it to be good! Traffic issues meant I only made the last half of my gym class last night and then came home & ate a dozen Pringles and a few chunks of baguette with Philadelphia. Delicious at the time but I'm not sure if the tummy ache I had later in the evening was coincidence or my body saying "no thanks".
Today, I've done pilates and a 35 minute walk and will be out & about for the rest of the day.
I've had a cappucino and some Shreddies with a banana and blueberries... and a rasher of bacon on the side. See what I mean about needing to go back to actually being good! Especially as we're out for pizza tonight.

I don't really have plans for the weekend that involve food so I'm hoping to stay on my best behaviour.

I decided first thing to get on top of the housework, boring I know, but I did get a sweat up scrubbing the bathroom like a lunatic.

Lovely sunny day here, I've got two loads of washing outside on the line. Sorry to bore you all!

Enjoy the weekend, don't forget it is our first weigh day on Monday, let's make it a good one.

Sugar cravings, especially in the evenings, have mostly subsided, which is fast, given 10 days ago I was devouring chocolate sharing bags and entire tubs of ice-cream. I am grateful. Sugar is my downfall. My actual food is really quite healthy and always has been, but then I blithely add 1500 calories of chocolate on top.

Now it's more of a at a loose end, do something with my hands, restless/anxious feeling. I need to find alternative ways of responding to that.

So far, since my sausage in batter and chips I've had:

1 cheesecake baked raspberry slice (on 2 nights)
1 large BBQ hula hoops
1 caramel popcorn (Skinny?) - the calories weren't too bad on that

Breakfast yesterday was blueberries and fruit and fibre cereal
breakfast today peanut butter and marmite on Voyel soya and linseed bread
lunch yesterday minestrone soup with grated reduced fat cheddar cheese and half the sausage in batter. Plus nectarine
Today: had minestrone cup a soup (slim a soup), 4 cheese oatcakes with cottage cheese and crudites of cucumber, cos lettuce and cherry tomatoes
Had quiche lorraine slice with potato and broccoli, carrot for dinner.

How do you eat less in cold weather or better in colder weather?

Focus on eating more fats @GonnaGetGoingReturns and a bit of wholegrain carbs, but mostly fats. That's how they get through winters in really cold countries 🙂
