I need to loose ten pounds, anyone with me?

Ahh I am really struggling to get these last ten pounds of my baby weight off. But I would very much like to do so in time for the summer holidays (probably unachievable but hey!).
I'm 10stone 10 and I really want to get to 10. At that weight I'd be a comfy size 10 ☺️

I'm a single mum and absolutely no time for gym or exercise atm :( but I can work on my diet! I'm a massive chocolate bungee and do not drink enough water!

Tomorrow is my day 1! Anyone with me? :)

Oh yes I'm in. Joined these threads before and fell off. I'm 10.4 and would like to lose 10 pounds please. Had a bad back and had to quit running. I do try to drink lots of water. I don't have anything to eat until midday and try not to eat after 6pm...but I've just polished off a bag of bombay mix 😣

Potatomashed · 03/07/2022 21:08

Me! I have 1.5 year old and just moved into temporary accommodation until my new house is ready. This gives me 3 months to form new habits, lose weight and feel fit and strong again.

Ive not bought any chocolate. I’m a sucker for those moser Roth bars from aldi/lidl after dinner. Although I think my problem is more portion size, I keep finishing my daughters dinner!

Potatomashed · 03/07/2022 21:09

I don’t know my weight and I’m not going to use a scale but I am going to measure myself which fluctuates way less on a weekly basis

Wednesdayafternoon · 03/07/2022 21:14

Ahhh yes hello both! 😀
How are you planning on doing this? I'm doing a mix of 16-8 fasting to curb the evening binges 🙈 I'm also using MFP! It suggested 1200 but I know that's too low for me so I'm going to go for 1400!

Count me in too! I’ve been trying to do this for the last 6 months but I have zero willpower. Maybe if I join other doing it too it will make me more accountable??

Mmmmdanone · 03/07/2022 21:16

I want to lose at least 7lb. So far I'm trying not to eat any snacks and sweet things in the evening. It's not going great...

I'm the same. I've been messing about all year with this and I'm getting SO annoyed at myself!!! I don't want to feel bloated for another summer!

The evenings are the hardest. Such a downfall for me. I'm going to restart the 16-8 fasting to curb the evening binges 😬

Yes please! I've got about 1 stone to lose, possibly a bit more. I'm going to do Slim Fast I think. Doesn't take too much thinking about and once I'm down to where I want to be then I'll use Body Coach to maintain.

Bolsa · 03/07/2022 21:34

I'm in! I lost two stone three years ago but almost a stone has crept on again since last Sept with too much food and Wine.

So tomorrow is Day 1 for me. My aim is to feel slimmer and more in control of my diet and figure by next week or, realistically, by August.

Last time I had great success with Fasting on 500 cals two days a week. But right now I cannot imagine how I ever found that will power ☹. Hoping it will appear in the morning.....

SaggyOldClothDog · 03/07/2022 22:22

I'm in. I feel like my weight is constantly creeping upwards, despite being good with my exercise ( I just like food 😂). I'm another snacker, so need to knock that on the head. Shifting a couple of kilos would help my jeans feel that little less constricting!

thoroughlymodernmummy · 03/07/2022 22:26

I'm in!
I started calorie counting last week. Trying to stick to 1500, maybe with a fasting day of 500 if I can to help counter balance any over days.

I'm also trying to do at least 8000 steps daily. I'm desperate to loose a stone.

Ilikecheeseontoast · 03/07/2022 22:32

Me too! I have no time for exercise bar the school run with the pram but am very active and barely sit down! Am a little too fond of snacking and of chocolate and wine however! Have been trying to only eat between midday and 6pm and so far have lost 4lbs in about 2 weeks. I have tried MFP and also slimming works in the past but I lose interest/motivation after a while. Am 10.4 now, ideally would like to be 9.6 so 12lb would be great!

Potatomashed · 04/07/2022 09:08

Morning! Started today with an egg on toast so hopefully won’t get snacky this morning…

14lbsToGo · 04/07/2022 09:13

Me please!

Have 14lbs to lose hence username.

I've lost 84lbs but really need to get this last stone off (been stuck for months)

Am 11st4.
Goal: 10st4

Shedcity · 04/07/2022 09:17

Yes please! I’ve lost quite a bit already but struggling to get the last 10lbs off

Wednesdayafternoon · 04/07/2022 09:18

Morning all!
Let's hope today is a good day for us all! I'm feeling so bloated, need to drink lots of water but I just keep forgetting!
Had an extremely naughty weekend so I'm dreading getting dressed today as I know everything will be uncomfy :(
I'm by no means a fancy cook so sorry if my meals are extremely bland.
Today I'm going to have tuna Mayo butty with a boiled egg and salad and then a mullet rice protein yogurt for dinner. Then I have fish and veg for tea with a arla protein yogurt for super.
Coming in just under 1200 calories. Might throw a couple cups of tea in there though aswell so give or take 🥰

Morning!
I Snuck some sweets and chocolate in Thai weekend too so I'm aiming to be better

Also aiming to use less calories in drinks! Such a waste!

My plan this week is to stay wiring calorie count with better, healthier, more protein filled food. I'm also hoping to continue the good step count each day.

Eventually I want to add in other enjoyable exercise like static bike and yoga but I'm focusing on the calories and walking for the next few weeks until I feel I've built them into habits! I know myself and if I do too much too soon I'll Chuck it all in!!

Just purchased a weighted hoop. Though got back ache today so darent try it out! Anyone got any experience with them?

Right, off to make poached egg on brown toast for breakfast

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE Smile

Ilikecheeseontoast · 04/07/2022 13:13

I had a few cups of tea with soya milk this morning then some of last nights leftover chicken stir fry for lunch.a few more cups of tea this afternoon then pizza and salad for tea (kids’ request) will try not to have too much. No eating after 6pm again. ThingsI’m going to try to do this week are less sugar and more water. Still 10.4 this morning.

Hoolahoophop · 04/07/2022 15:43

I'd like to join in. I'm almost 9st at the moment and under 5ft tall. My belly is awful! I turned 40 this year and want to get control now so my weight doesn't spiral.
I had success a year or two ago with fasting but run now and can't see that I'd manage fasting alongside running regularly.
My aim has always been 1200cals a day because I'm so short but this feels like so little food.
I really need to stop stress eating.....but don't know what to swap the eating for when I'm stressed unhappy.

endofthecorridoor · 04/07/2022 16:41

Me and husband have lost 2 stone each after years of struggling. Probably will get stick for this but we stick to the karg protein yoghurts for breakfast 6 days a week with fruit on top ( cook some berries down a bit frozen or reduced price ones ) then for lunch eat 3 ryveta or cars equivalent with more or less anything you like on top except cheese. Instead of crisps have a few olives or gherkins with it. Dinner is what you usually have but smaller and no garlic bread or any bread The weight dropped off and it’s manageable for me as I don’t have huge decisions to make every day. Stop snacking though that makes you fat unfortunately especially after 45 it’s unsustainable unless you just give in to the bulge. We drink loads though and I don’t think that makes a jot of difference

I just feel 1200 is not sustainable. You Basically have to skip your breakfast... it's just such a low number. I lost 10 pounds at the start of the year on 1200 calories but it went piling back on when I started to eat again :(

I've actually stopped having breakfast, I tend to have a supper instead now as I just found breakfast made me so much more hungry so I prefer to fast in the morning... but I did find I wash crashing a lot at 1200 as it just simply wasn't enough

I need to lose a stone to get to my happy weight and I'm failing miserably.
