... and I worked so hard to lose baby weight. Got down to just below target goal and now I'm heavier than it again!
Too many takeaways and family sized bars of chocolates watching stranger things every evening with my other half. Anyway we've finished stranger things now (until next week...) and we've got a wedding to go to next month so I really need to be mindful again!!
So plan for today is pram walk to go and get bits for tea, chasseur with some potatoes and veg, and buy no treats. Will do 10,000 steps.
Drink loads of water to fill me up and hydrate myself as I haven't been doing too well at that lately either.
And no chocolate

@Twooforjoy I can imagine the temptation when the snacks are out, I struggle with that too. What type of exercise do you like to do? I know you have mentioned cycling? I do a lot of walking with my daughter but I can't seem to find the motivation to do videos or workouts in the house. Have you tried any?

Well, I weighed myself this morning - 11st 8.2 - my body feels stuck at this!! I thought I ate lightly yesterday but maybe it all added up.

Thanks for the instruction on mixing the powder, I'll give it a go at those quantities, I had definitely put too much in.

I was thinking along those lines too of you buying baby clothes and someone asking oh are you having a baby? It could have been that innocent!

I love to exercise I really do - I love spin classes, the gym but most of all I love my road bike. But I'm so time poor, I don't exercise nearly as much as I'd like but i take every chance I get. If I'm exercising I am less likely to eat crap as I eat properly - I get properly hungry and need real FOOD!

Good morning!

I know that feeling of getting 'stuck'.. it will shift in a few days but it can get frustrating. I've had a couple of days off work and have not been eating healthily at all. I'm just cutting myself some slack for a week or so (sorry, not great motivation for you there😆)

I'd love to exercise again, I work long hours and then it's the usual routine, tea, baby bath time and bedtime, housework then bam it's 9pm and I'm asleep. I'm off to look at gyms with crèches in for my days off..

Well I've literally just weighed myself and I'm at 10 stone 11. Didn't realise I had cut myself 3lb worth of slack.... but have had a good few days which I'm classing as my 'holiday'.

Next week will be back to normal, a shake a day.

Hey ladies could I join please? I am 5 months post partum and cannot shift this baby weight. I haven't really been trying if I'm honest. I know my diet is appalling and I need to make changes. I am 12 stone 2 right now which is the biggest I've been in a long time. My comfortable weight is around 10 stone so ideally I need to drop about 2 stone. It feels like a huge ask right now though. I'll be looking for meal inspiration here! I usually find when I cut back to around 1600 cals I can lose weight. I haven't had the energy or motivation to exercise much but when the dc go back to school in September I can maybe try to get out walking a bit more with the baby.

I've never been the type to get too hung up on the numbers on the scale but my body feels really alien to me at the minute. My clothes don't fit well and I know I need to make changes to feel more confident and like myself again.

I cycled about 50km yesterday, feeling better fitness wise anyway. Glad to see the scales in my favour at last!

Congratulations on the baby. My DD is one next week and it's absolutely flown by. I wasn't in a rush to lose weight initially, I started WW in January and lost weight very quickly. Started to creep back up which was when I started this thread.

@Twooforjoy my goal is probably around 10 stone. I'm 10 stone 10 today. So a way to go. I wanted to be 11 stone by the time I went back to work and I beat that goal. So maybe a good thing to do would be for me to set myself a target on this weight loss 🤔

I seem to be starving constantly today. I just want to munch munch munch and I never feel satisfied... I'm just trying to limit my losses... this is the dangerous hormonal window!

Our target goals are very similar. I want to get back to about 10 3 but my immediate goal is to get to 11. I was always in the 10s and then one day after not weighing myself for a while I hopped on and there I was, eleven stone something, (ages ago) and I've never pulled myself out of it! Until now 👹 I absolutely will this time.

The shakes - I really like them but I could eat a meal straight after 😂 they are not filling me up at all!

10 stone 8 this morning so I'm back to where I was. Just a little blip I guess, but I did enjoy the good food for a few days 😋 I was soo craving chocolate last night, and almost went on to Just Eat and ordered a dessert from somewhere but I resisted - I dug out some nesquik chocolate powder from the kitchen cupboard and an orange wagon wheel - diet and purse saved!!

Plan for today is a small breakfast, some eggs for lunch because we've got three boxes in the fridge which need using up, and our usual Saturday night home made pizzas for tea. I'm hoping to get out for a few mile walk this morning when the baby wakes from her sleep. What's everyone else got planned today?

@Twooforjoy I completely believe you will too! It helps to break it into stages like you have done. 11 was my goal initially too as you know. I think I'm going to try for 10 now by the beginning of November. But you do so well with exercise, I'm jealous. I want to get back to where I was a few years back, nice and toned! Going to explore the option of doing a boot camp on a weekend morning when my other half is off work. It's a start anyway.

Are you due on? I get this too before my period is due, I just want to eat chocolate and rubbish things!!
You could always try having a shake instead of a snack to start off with? If you're a big snacker like I was then it's probably still fewer calories than a snack 😅

I've found myself not even wanting the shakes the last few days in work as I've been busy so didn't make one yesterday. Hope to get back on them tho as I've got 3 big bags in the kitchen cupboard haha

I don't know what's going on with me. Period is late and according to the scales I jumped almost 3 lbs in a day which is just batshit but I'm so annoyed as I can't enjoy when I lose a few pounds, I just don't trust it. Maybe time for new scales.

I can't seem to bring myself to count calories. I'm not sure what my blocker is. Feeling very boo meh.

Hi 😊 can I join this thread? I am 5ft 4 and was up to 16 stone and a size 18. I've lost 2.5 stone and now 13.5stone. I haven't dared bought new jeans but mines are definitely hanging off now. I need some more motivation as I have stalled. I feel great though. It's so hard my daughters nearly 9, and I still have my pouch. I've only noticed recently it's starting to slowly go xx

@Twooforjoy I feel your pain, hormones and women problems are just that... problems!! Our bodies go through so much in just one month and yet we're just expected to carry on regardless every day. But that's a rant for a different day 😉
If it were up to me, I'd celebrate every loss!Because you have earned it.
I didn't beat myself up over gaining that 3lb, and it's come off again now. Do you always weigh yourself at the start of the day? I do first thing in the morning before I shower, using Fitbit Aria scales. You absolutely are making great progress even if the scales don't reflect it every day. You're making positive changes for your body and it will thank you for it ❤️

And re calorie counting, no, I couldn't get into it. I usually cook from scratch in the evenings and couldn't figure out how to translate that in to calories, so I gave up after a couple of days!!

Hi @NoHeavenNoMore thank you 😊 I started to change my eating times. I now eat breakfast lunch and have pushed dinner out later so I don't snack in the evening. It's really worked and I have very little snack cravings. My biggest problems was savoury food 😂 I started going swimming aswell with my daughter and I go to gym 2 days a week when my daughter is at her dads on Wednesday and a Sunday when she is in her swim lesson. Anything more is a massive bonus. It's been slow and steady. I'm thinking of doing the fasting method soon. X

Yes, the Women's rant can be ranted on another day! I always weigh myself first thing, nude, before shower. I'm almost religious about it!

Yea you're right, I'm being healthier so it's all good. I'm soo so so tired today, I'm going swimming with my DC and bringing one of their friends. It will be manic! I did a Corona test today as I'm just feeling awful but it's negative.

I've carved out two pops to ride this week. Once I'm on the bike my head clears. Bring it on 💪 (and bring in new scales 😂)

Well I'm pre menstrual and at work today I ate two cookies and a sugar ring donut. Plus copious coffee and then tonight my other half said he didn't want the stew I'd made for our dinner, so ordered us burgers 🤦‍♀️
I feel like a traitor to our clan!!
