... and I worked so hard to lose baby weight. Got down to just below target goal and now I'm heavier than it again!
Too many takeaways and family sized bars of chocolates watching stranger things every evening with my other half. Anyway we've finished stranger things now (until next week...) and we've got a wedding to go to next month so I really need to be mindful again!!
So plan for today is pram walk to go and get bits for tea, chasseur with some potatoes and veg, and buy no treats. Will do 10,000 steps.
Drink loads of water to fill me up and hydrate myself as I haven't been doing too well at that lately either.
And no chocolate

Weight this morning 11 stone 1lb

Good morning @MrsBudd and well done! I am just holding steady at 10 stone 10.. been doing so much walking and trying to walk even faster (!!) and get in more active minutes. If I walk much faster I'll be running everywhere..

I really think I'll lose more when I go back to work in 2 weeks time. I don't have a break for starters which helps, and I'm busy so distracted.
In the meantime I guess I'll be happy if I stay at this weight because I mean it's still progress from where I was.. just very, very small progress 😉

10 stone 10 🙃🙃

Been a hard week this week thanks to the weather! Didn't leave the house for the whole of Monday and Tuesday cos it was just too hot to take the baby out. Feel like I've definitely been less active this week as a result.

It's my birthday this weekend so just might have a couple of treats. Enjoy your weekends all and good luck ❤️

Why oh why have I gained a pound!? I know the answer is because I spent the weekend devouring birthday cake and pizza
Oh no, I am really not being my own friend 😅

I read your thread a month ago and it never left me - I’m on hols now but will be doing this too when I’m back on Monday. I’m 5ft 10 and I’m 11st 8. My comfort weight is anywhere between 10st 4 and 7 (size 10). I’ve crept up to a 12, I’m a stone overweight. Even if I lost 8lbs clothes would feel ok again.

I also worked so so damn hard to lose the baby weight and I got down to 10st through exercise and stayed there for a couple of years. It’s crept back on from the lockdowns. I’m going to join your thread on Monday and chip away at it.

you’ve done amazing OP.

RicherThanYew · 10/08/2022 01:51

May I join please? I'm afraid that I'm on a somewhat urgent mission to be accountable for my diet as I'm T2 diabetic and my last blood test results were shockingly bad. For the last 7 days I have been on a low to no fat diet with no treats and no cheats, just fruit/vegetables/wholegrains and lean chicken or fish. So far I have lost 4kg but it's a long long road because I weigh 133.8kg and I know it's killing me. I've read this thread and you're all doing incredibly well!

NoHeavenNoMore · 11/08/2022 21:52

Aww hello @Twooforjoy! Thank you so much for your lovely words. I have really struggled some weeks and definitely hit a wall but am on the right track again it seems.

I paused Weight Watchers and in all honesty I have just cut down my portion sizes, having a meal replacement shake for my lunch when working and no snacking really during the working week. Plus intermittent fasting 8pm-8am. My weekends haven't been controlled and I've eaten what I've wanted to. I could have been much stricter but the way the world is at the moment, I need joy and sometimes that comes in the form of two cookies after my evening meal haha.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday and will be here with you for support from Monday!! You've got this 💪🏼

Hi @RicherThanYew, of course you can join! The more the merrier. It seems like your diet is so restrictive, it must be quite difficult for you. I know you have great motivation tho because you've lost so much already.. seriously, well done!! It isn't easy but your body will thank you for it ❤️❤️
Good luck with your journey

Weight this morning was 10 stone 8 again. Very happy with this but would like to lose another pound by this time next week. Plenty of steps each day, I'm always hitting 10,000-12,000. My downfall has been too many treats but I think I'm in a good place with that now. My maternity leave has also ended so I'm looking forward to getting structure back and stepping away from my kitchen cupboards 🙈🥹

Hello 👋 thanks for the welcome!

well here I am. 11st 7 - actually pleasantly surprised I didn’t gain anything on holiday!

back in work today. Consciously didn’t take a cinnamon swirl with my coffee as commiseration on first day back!

Hoping to get out on my bike today or tomorrow.

Twooforjoy · 15/08/2022 14:22

@NoHeavenNoMore what shakes are you using if you don’t mind me asking?

NoHeavenNoMore · 15/08/2022 14:41

@Twooforjoy I use MyProtein whey meal replacements at the moment. Only 200 calories and they mix well. They are great instead of a lunch for me. I think I boredom eat a lot as well so reaching for this helps combat that 😊

Thanks. Just checking in!

I’ve just bought a meal replacement from them - I need a lunch substitute so I only have to deal with dinner.

My weight today 11st 8.6 - grrr!!! I even did a 40km cycle yesterday (to ease myself back in after two weeks of holiday) and my weight is up almost 2lbs. I know it’s hormonal weight ?if that’s a thing, but that’s what I call it, just let I’d my cycle until period arrives in a week and it goes again).

rodsy I’m gong to take the dog for a 5km walk after work.

I had seeded bread and banana for lunch. Haven’t figured out dinner yet!

NoHeavenNoMore · 17/08/2022 19:47

Yes I find the shakes brilliant for lunches at work!!
Well done on your bike ride, that's good going! My weight definitely fluctuates with my cycle so you're probably right there.
Have you had your dinner yet? What did you settle on?

OP posts:
Twooforjoy · 19/08/2022 13:41

@NoHeavenNoMore how are you doing?

me, soaring for shake powder to arrive!
Holding steady at 11 8.6. Did 50km of hills on bike, bloody killed me. Long dog walk tonight and a 100km ride tomorrow.

food wise, I am still picking and have not fixed my bad mealtime habits BUT I have not had chocolate al week nor supplemented my morning coffee with “breakfast” ie cakes.

forgot to weigh in this morning so I’m hoping tomorrow is rewarding!

Twooforjoy · 19/08/2022 13:42

Sorry, I am not soaring I am waiting 😂

NoHeavenNoMore · 20/08/2022 16:20

@Twooforjoy how did your weigh in go? Im holding steady at 10 stone 8 but you know I've been feeling great about myself. Until today.
Went shopping with my other half and was buying some clothes for my little girl. The lady behind the checkout said to me "aww are you excepting again?" WOW
I managed to hold it together and smiled, said "no" and then raced outside as fast as I could to my partner and burst into tears. I sobbed into his shoulder on the street. I'm the slimmest I've been since having my daughter and like I said, I've been feeling good. Well it's totally knocked my confidence now 😞

Twooforjoy · 21/08/2022 09:41

Oh@NoHeavenNoMore nooooooo!!!!! You poor poor thing!! What an absolute dope that lady was.

I don’t know what your tummy looks like but I have a pregnancy “curve” and it comes and goes if I’m bloated, it’s like a weak spot on a balloon, it’s the first bit to expand 😂

you are doing incredibly, incredibly well and I bet you DO look amazing!

I weighed in today at 11st 7.8 - so I’m down 1 measly lb but I’ll take it!!! It might be that I sweated a lot yesterday as I did 100km+ on the bike with my club. But it’s unheard of for me to have my weight not tip upwards in the days before my period. So - I’m taking it as a victory!

my myprotein pack arrived yesterday. I’m sticking to this plan and you’re my inspo so don’t mind that woman yesterday and enjoy your achievements!

NoHeavenNoMore · 21/08/2022 12:46

@Twooforjoy thank you 😞🥲 I probably could be slimmer but I've been quite happy getting there slowly but surely. My partner said "oh I think it's probably just because you're wearing a baggy top" (I was wearing a floaty dress but whatever). The thing is you just can't win, if you wear tight clothes and you've got a bit of a tummy it makes it very noticeable and if you wear something loose people still make comment! Trying to not let it bother me too much but I've just eaten shite all weekend to make myself feel better 🫣

Well done for dropping a lb! What flavour shake did you go for? I'm using them Monday-Friday but not weekends. Alternate between salted caramel, chocolate orange and chocolate!

Hope you're having a great weekend and thank you again for your kind words

OP posts:
Twooforjoy · 22/08/2022 12:56

Hope you’re feeling better today @NoHeavenNoMore !

agsin I forgot to weigh myself (v weird!!)

I got the salted caramel flavour …. I am confused by the quantities as listed on the pack - I bought the 600ml MP drinks bottle also. Is it meant to be 51g per 200-300ml? The instructions are rubbish! How much do you use?

anyway I’ve made a shake today, ohh it’s very sweet - and too warm! It will need ice cubes or something to be tasty.

had an argument with bf over the phone which made me want to snack, I didn’t, but I slept badly, and my kids (two under 8) are back home and the house is filled with snack box sized treats - that is the habit I need to break - snacking on their snacks.

dog walk for me later but no proper “exercise”.

hope you’re doing well?

NoHeavenNoMore · 22/08/2022 20:19

Yes, one scoop is 51g and I usually use 300ml of milk.. don't use ice or anything because I have very sensitive teeth unfortunately! When used like that it's 200 calories.
Had a good day today at work with a shake for lunch but it was my colleagues birthday so I must admit to a sly piece of cake this afternoon. She made me feel better about the lady's comment on Saturday though and said it must have been because she thought my DD looks older than she is and therefore the clothes I was buying couldn't have been for her. Not sure I fully believe that one but I am feeling better about the comment now. You really helped when you mentioned the 'pregnancy curve'. This is a natural body that carried a 9lb 6oz baby, it's BOUND to be a bit rounder in places ❤️❤️
