Hi guys I'd also like to hear the RH goss life text me Grin
Yesterday bf was going for a swimming lesson and I planned on walking my dog, instead I went in and lashed out lengths of the pool for 35 mins, I was delighted with myself, I love the power I feel in the water because of it supporting your weight. I did eat a treat size twix while preparing dinner last night Blush

gen happy honeymoon

I forgot to cancel Eatstro due to being out of routine last Thurs, and so what they sent was a surprise to me. Fish & chips was last nights, then there's beef neema and chicken and spinach orzo dish, probably what I would have picked myself so I cancelled membership promptly Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/07/2022 09:50

Take it easy not. Listen to your body and the dieting can take a break.

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/07/2022 09:56

Don't worry about the food just get well ☺️
Happier sounds like absolutely gorgeous food 😋😋😋
Life hope you are doing ok lovely 🤗
Been good here today warm out and busy so it helps 🙂

Not2bObvious · 07/07/2022 05:23

Awake since 4am, had a very unwell evening but got a few hours sleep. Feeling a bit better than yesterday at the moment, hopefully I'm over the worst of it. It's funny when you haven't been poorly for ages and people say about having a couple of bad days, you think that's not soo bad. And then you go through a couple of bad days... It's all relative really.
Time for an antihistamine, mad itchy for the first time in 3 days, normal peri-meno low level symptoms back, I must be recovering!

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/07/2022 12:43

Take it easy today not. Good plan listening to your body

I’m back on it today. more I think about it more it’s peri that’s my nemesis.

Not2bObvious · 07/07/2022 13:33

Ahh peri menopause, the gift that just gives & gives.
Slightly less crisps today but it's early yet

Hope Gen & DH having a lovely honeymoon ☺️

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/07/2022 21:03

Did ok pump and steps, biscuits did feature but that’s ok

Not2bObvious · 07/07/2022 21:17

Nowt wrong with a biscuit, a few biscuit bars have been added to my crisp & tea diet these last couple of days, wonderful nutrition in Chez Not.
Oh no mrs, poor you, hope you're putting your feet up & relaxing, please have a biscuit before me & life finish them off!
Oh dear heavens, being poorly is incredibly borrrrrring.... I'm lucky I do wfh mostly and it's not been busy with it being summer we don't get the weather but kids here are off for 3 months for secondary and 2 for primary so work always quietens down for sure come July/August. So not the worst time to be ill and it's pretty mild so counting my blessings. But bored rigid😤

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 07/07/2022 22:11

Aw Not l am sorry you are feeling bored and poorly bless you lovely,💐
Can you read or watch Wimbledon? I have been glued to it the last 10 days 😊
Never mind re the bickies and crisps , it's good for your soul 😊
Life you got this ! 😊

Not2bObvious · 08/07/2022 04:25

I think Wimbledon might push me over the edge, I used to love to play (as a kid, had no idea of rules, no Williams sister!) but don't enjoy watching. And I am an avid reader but have nothing good on the go at the moment. I think it's just the way of this because I can't go out, I'll be better soon & I'll be doing all the things! Thank you mrs, I appreciate the suggestions
Looks like 4am is my new waking time, ugggggg

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/07/2022 07:53

urgh being bored sucks. Hope you are getting progressively better. Lots to drink too,
im reading the Thursday murder club at the minute

walked to work and sweated like a …..

Not2bObvious · 08/07/2022 12:33

Yeah, getting there alright. Haven't eaten since 5am, mutterings of fast food for lunch - not sure if I'm bothered or whether I'll go with a plain sambo. I'm hungry but a bit disinterested

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 08/07/2022 18:40

Way past lunch but i would go with a plain sandwich

Not2bObvious · 08/07/2022 19:59

I did, it was fine. Had a bit of takeaway for dinner, again fine - nothing amazing. Bit of choc, back to bed. Sat out in the garden for a couple of hours, feeling no worse so that's good. It's pretty much turned into a heavy cold with a cough, I can handle this for sure.

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 08/07/2022 20:05

Glad you are on the mend Not
I have been listening to Audiobooks on You tube lately too , am in the middle of Lord Peter Wimsey Murder must Advertise l love it 🤗 💐🤗
Have been out for lunch with BF but l was quite good, jkt ppt and Strawberries and ice cream it was yummy 😋
Hope everyone is ok, this weather is so lovely hope we are all having it too 🤗

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/07/2022 20:16

I’m not doing too bad. Need to get back to its but head not in the game

Not2bObvious · 09/07/2022 05:37

I got to wake at 3 instead of 4, ooh nice. Fell back asleep for a bit but I guess I'm up now.
I think the fact you only have a small amount to lose and you think you need to go all in to lose it is too hard on you life. Not doing too bad is good enough, sticking to not too bad will lose you those pounds more consistently than all in then off the rails completely. If that makes sense?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 09/07/2022 08:08

Yup it does not, I’m not in a deficit maintaining at best, I’m focusing on general health, not binging and getting back to fitness. My MH Is shot, that’s more important than 1/2 a stone
not weighting though as hot weather = bloat

Not2bObvious · 09/07/2022 09:50

I'm glad you're in that mind space - if you manage the focus on the things you can add rather than what you need to take away that would naturally chip away at the half stone. V sorry you're feeling that way about your MH. It's tough goingFlowers

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 09/07/2022 10:43

Thanks, I’m ok ish but need to make some more positive changes to stay that way and break the current cycle.
30 minute pump and aerobics done before it’s too hot

Not2bObvious · 09/07/2022 11:10

Practising ok is very positive, no rush. Good on you for getting the exercise in, I wanted to try do a walk while the world was still asleep but didn't feel confident in going out on my own. Now it's too late and there's too many people around. I'm a coughing sneezing infectious lump that shouldn't venture out, that's for sure. I'm so sick of barking dogs, whyyyyyyy?????
Weather here is very dull, mild but overcast. A spectacularly underwhelming summer so far. Still in bed, have eaten a decent breakfast, I hung on until 9.30 - bit of a change from 5am buttery toast!

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 09/07/2022 11:12

Sorry the dogs comment is because being in bed most of the week with the window open means I'm constantly listening to dogs barking for no discernible reason, alarms going off, building sounds, lawn mowing, small children, wood pigeons. Does the world not know I'm in a raging bad mood???
