Thanks ags

Might get a crunchie or 2 but was trying to just not eat it. I have just thought I could get some coco pops and then I get a choc hit and that's not many points.

[saddo emoticon]

mammyjo · 08/02/2008 15:59

Eddas, creme eggs are fab for a chocolate hit too and only 3 points I think. You are not being pathetic at all, we have all been there and all know what its like. From the things you say you have eaten I doubt that you have done much damage. I could scoff more than that in one sitting!!

Shizaru · 08/02/2008 16:25

Hello people! Thanks for your well-wishes

I'm feeling much better today, and DH seems to have made a miraculous recovery.

Last night - well, I was reasonably good. I didnt eat too much, but, I did struggle to keep my hands off the prawn crackers and I had a large tablespoonfull of crispy seaweed.....

Today, I compounded matters by taking DS to McDonalds..........even worse that the girl on the till thought i asked for a meal and stuck chips on my tray as well......

Well, at least I had diet cokes all last night and today

silkcushion · 08/02/2008 18:45

Hello all - well I think week 4 or 5 for most of us and that is where it gets tough doesn't it? I can't be fecked to get up and do my exercise dvd - this is the girl who's been doing nearly 30 points worth of exercise every week - this week 8!!!

We possibly need a remotivate - I know I do. Haven't exactly eaten well today either - nothing too drastic but I need to claw back 6 points for the week and I only have 2 days left.

Tonight I am going to plan my food for tomorrow and Sunday. I will also plan in adequate exercise. And I am going to stick to it.

Sat - a lie in (after early morning baby feeding - luckily she goes back to sleep) followed by a pretend fry up - quorn sausage, scrambled egg, ww beans and slice of wholemeal toast. Should be under 8 points. Dinner scrummy salmon and prawn pasta thing with fat free yoghurt not creme fraiche. 60 mins of Davina dvd and a walk with dh and dd (if decent weather).

Sun - roast in the evening, will have mash not roasties to allow for parsnips - yum. 2 small slices of lamb, sprouts, cabbage and carrot and swede mash. Lunch will be big plate of salad, pitta with slice of ham and v low fat cream cheese in it. Brekkie - porridge. Walk with dh and dd (if weather ok) and 60 mins davina. Snacks for both days, carrot sticks and ww yoghurts.

Right someone check whether I've done it please cos I need to get back on track.

silkcushion · 08/02/2008 18:46

Oh yes and I'm logging off now and getting changed and doing the exercise dvd!!!!!

mammyjo · 08/02/2008 19:31

That plan looks good to me silk! Good luck with the exercise. I wish I was motivated enough to do anything like that!

I popped back in as I was tempted to scoff 3 creme eggs. I have had one (which is 3.5 points btw, not 3 as I thought earlier!), but they were 3 for £1 so dh got three of them. Problem is the other two are now watching and calling me
Feel better for reading thread here, hopefully will leave them alone now. Only have 0.5 point left for my hot choc now as have finished my dinner!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 08/02/2008 19:41

Oh I was tempted by creme eggs earlier today, but managed to overcome it

mammyjo · 08/02/2008 20:02

I think I have managed to get past the craving now! Must be having a good night tonight, would have scoffed them the other day!

silkcushion · 08/02/2008 22:43

did 40 minutes of davina dvd and ate chicken fajita for dinner - just one and lots of extra onions and peppers - a sprinkling of low fat cheese and a tablespoon of half fat creme fraiche - felt quite naughty. Drinking a g&t now - only 1 point.

back tomorrow to confess how I've done

PerkinWarbeck · 09/02/2008 08:29

just a quick ramble to keep this on my "threads I'm on" list !

silkcushion - congrats on first day back! that Paul Mckenna quote on thinking about food all the time except when shovelling it in certainly struck a chord here.

moodlum - so and for your DD

no pancakes for me as I'm not really bothered, but we did have toad in the hole on shrove tuesday, so I have devoured at least as much batter as the rest of you!

I've been quite pleased with my self-discipline at work. my team is rather foodie, and this week I have ignored chelsea buns, hot cross buns, ferrero rocher (swoon) and various types of biscuit.

pheasant tonight - got a HFW recipe. trying to decide whether to do plain boiled rice with it, or mash. I know what I want to do.....

mammyjo · 09/02/2008 08:45

Hi PW! I have never tried pheasant, I would be opting for the mash, but unfortunately I like it bursting with butter which is not too good on the points front!!

Managed to avoid the creme eggs last night, although even sat in bed at 11pm, I was still thinking about them. That is just ridiculous!

moodlumthehoodlum · 09/02/2008 08:58

Morning!

I followed the paul mckenna "eat what your body tells you you want" approach to dieting last night . And had half a packet of sweet chilli and coriander corn chips and 6 prawns for supper. I think that was both nutritious, calorie conscious and importantly, represented all the food groups... I am stuck at 12.7 and suppers like that will not help.

SC I'm so with you on the creme egg obsession, did you wake up thinking about them? I would!

Hello PW - pheasant. Yum. Would have deffo opted for mash.

Its a geeorgeous mawning here today so am going to drag everyone out for a walk.

Happy Saturday!

moodlumthehoodlum · 09/02/2008 08:59

Sorry - its obviously MJ's obsession of creme eggs, not SC's!

mammyjo · 09/02/2008 09:18

Didnt wake up thinking about them, but had made the mistake of leaving the two I have out on the kitchen top, so they were waiting for me when I came downstairs!! Lol at the paul mckenna diet! If I did that I would end up even fatter than I am now. I just do not have the self discipline. WW works for me because it tells me I can eat, but also when I have to stop Shame is that I dont always listen!

chocolatespiders · 09/02/2008 09:55

morning all....

just done vicky binns workout before i shower..

toast for brekkie.....

i do allow myself a bit of a treat on saturdays.. as it keeps me on track the rest of the week if i can look faward to something...

the corn chips sounds lush what ,make are they and how many points...
i am desperate to find some low point crisps that i feel satisfied with??

have a great day everyone....

silkcushion · 09/02/2008 10:46

Definitely not me with the creme egg obsession - I find them sickly. But since the crunchie 3.5 point revelation I have found myself coveting them far more than is normal

Well done on the Vicky Binns this morning Choc. Crisps are my problem too, previously I could eat packets of them in one go. French fries are 1.5 pts, I think skips and quavers are relatively low too. I bought ww crisps the other day and they were revolting, same with a ww frozen lemon cheescake - not worth the points so I gave it to dh. McCoys crisps are 5.5 pts per pack

Will be doing pretend fry up in a mo.

mammyjo · 09/02/2008 11:40

The walkers baked crisps are nice. I have tried the sour cream ones and the mango chilli ones. They were both 1.5 points per bag.

mammyjo · 09/02/2008 14:48

I have just come back from a 1.5 hour walk, pushing the pushchair too. I decided I needed to get out and get some fresh air while the weather is nice! Made me realise how unfit I am though as the back of my legs were rather sore coming up the hill. I dont think those muscles have seen a workout in a long time!

moodlumthehoodlum · 09/02/2008 16:08

Had a lovely day in the garden - quite busy but not exactly energetic. I'm afraid the crisps I am talking about were not low fat - quite the opposite, but you can have 35g of Walkers Sensations Sweet chilli corn chips for a whopping 3 points. So, the whole bag would be....... Not worth counting. Enough to fall off the wagon with.

Risotto for supper - can't be much!

silkcushion · 09/02/2008 17:04

well done on the exercise everyone. Hve had brunch and long walk today so far - no dvd yet though. But not eaten badly.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 09/02/2008 20:41

Hello people.

Tried a Be Good To Yourself quiche tonight - I expect it didnt taste much better than the WW one.....

moodlumthehoodlum · 09/02/2008 22:36

Meringue nests. Just to warn you. They are low on points, but, if like me your brain only works some of the time, and usually not when you need it most, making them can be very dangerous....
