I would love some company. Will try to log on everyday to keep up with anyone who joins me but I do work full time so please dont be cross if I dont reply quickly!!!

I am really down right now about the way I look and would love to share my joys/lows with others - speak soon x

Oh just ordered the Paul Mckenna book from amazon - In need of a bit of a boast, have founf that am consantly falling off the diet wagon and need a kick up my sizable behind to get back on it!

Went out for coffee with friends today and they were telling me off for dieting while BF. Couldn't get them to understand that I need to control my food intake some how - putting on a stone in 4 months after pg can't be right! DS2 has slept until 5am for 3 days running so he must be getting enough milk.

Fio - how old is your lo?

Looking into a beading/jewellery making course to entertain my hands in the evening as must take in half my points after 9pm!

Had a banana this morning.

Good diet tip - develop a mouthfull of ulcers. It stops any enjoyment you might derive from food. (Unless you like to bathe in custard or something).

I'm feeling really poo today. Feel very low. Must be due on.

VVVQV · 23/01/2008 12:21

Thanks guys. Ate the mini cheddars in the end anyway

magsi · 23/01/2008 12:47

O.k, I have just had a tuna sarnie, and a clementine............(and three bags of walkers!!). Perhaps I had better step off until I can build some Willpower.

VVVQV · 23/01/2008 13:05

I've just had a falafale, rocket and fromage frais pitta again.

Really lovely.

Oh, and a pint of water.

DRINK WATER EVERYONE

I bought cauldron last time. This time it was in the kosher section - good life or something.

Absolutely delicious. I feel really full. It helps that I jam so much rocket into the pitta bread, and 4 falafel, cut in half stuffed in makes it HUGE , so it looks like a decent portion too

If I had the time to make it myself, I'd probably have a crack at it. Ditto meatballs. You must be able to make a much lower fat version of meatballs, mustnt you?

VVVQV · 23/01/2008 13:17

Magsi - I agree with Fio - dont buy the crisps. Not even for the kids - they dont need them either. If you want to get them some, buy them a packet each on the way home from school or something. You wont have the issue of "eating because it's there" then, because you wont have them. (One of my biggest problems - even bigger for DH )

Not sad at all Fio.

We'll be having the last laughs

AS they say "It aint over until the fat lady slims" (well, they dont quite say that but it's a good motto, eh???)

VVVQV · 23/01/2008 13:26

And the recipe would be great, thank you!

I think mini eggs are 2 points each.

silkcushion · 23/01/2008 15:33

V bad day

Have eaten 24 pts already with 2 left.

Rushed dd to a&e last night with a severe rash/allergic reaction. She was kept in so have had no sleep sitting up with her all night. Managed to bring reaction back under control although no idea what caused it. Very worrying as she is so little. Seeing private dermatologist at 4.30pm

So I ate 2 slices of toast with butter and jam at 5am, a bacon roll that dh brought in at 10am and a bloody disgusting mcdonalds on the way home cos I felt starving. Left half the chicken burger and actually the whole meal tasted greasy and horrible. Why did I eat it?

Have got 5 pts saved from yesterday so I can have a rreasonable dinner I suppose.

Eddas · 23/01/2008 15:44

I HAVE WATER only coz i'm at work

thicko question coming up but what's falafale?

I have to say i haven't bought any crisps or chocolate, that I like, because if it's there i'll eat it. I did buy some cheese and onion for dd because i don't like them and she has sweets. Although a neighbour dropped in some dairy milk bars for dd, which was very kind but I LOVE THEM Might get dh to take them to work and get them out of harms way.

I was grinning from ear to ear when i got ready for work as my trousers ar so loose they almost look silly I know I haven't lost much weight yet but It is all about the size not weight, don't want to be in the size I am now so YAY, YAY.

Eddas · 23/01/2008 15:46

Oh sc poor dd, hope you see someone helpful today

Not suprised you ate more than you should. Don't worry about it too much. You need to concentrate on dd atm

I bought some size 16 jeans from a charity shop today. I know they're Marks and Spencer's, and I know M&S fit generously, but they FIT ME.

VVVQV · 23/01/2008 16:27

OH SC how scary

Have had this with DD. Have they got any idea at all what it might be? Has she got other allergies/eczma/asthma?

Eddas - falafel is a chickpea, onion and spiced patty/ball that is deep-fried. They are REALLY lovely. see here

I think I've got a long way to go before I can squeeze my arse back into a size 16

Right, I have smoked mackerel in the fridge - what can I do with it?
