would anyone like to join me. I am going to start on Monday.

I am not joining any clubs but will be loosely following WW.

Need to cut out the alcohol, crisps, cheese and chocolate (not totally) .

I would love some company. Will try to log on everyday to keep up with anyone who joins me but I do work full time so please dont be cross if I dont reply quickly!!!

I am really down right now about the way I look and would love to share my joys/lows with others - speak soon x

I'm starving. Hardly eaten all day, but not sure what to have at this time of night (apart from the corn chips DH opened).

VeniVidiVickiQV · 15/01/2008 22:51

Just eaten 2 crumpets with 2 teaspoons of jam - only 3 points! YUM.

4 points left-over, but I over-spent by 4 yesterday so I'm all square

UniversallyChallenged · 15/01/2008 23:07

just done the free sign up. says i need to lose 5 STONE

am in a size 16 now - only want to be a 12/small 14 so thought 2 stone would be the max i needed. Thats ridiculous!!

Great points calculator though. Am on 25 points and seems ive done ok today!

silkcushion · 15/01/2008 23:10

have eaten 27.5 pts today against a target of 26. But I have done 7.5 pts of exercise, of which I'm allowed to eat 4!

Exercise was the problem - have played 2hrs of badminton and come home starving. dh had some cheese and crackers out and I munched 2 of them

silkcushion · 15/01/2008 23:11

uc - they tell you the lowest weight in yr range - don't worry

UniversallyChallenged · 15/01/2008 23:19

Phew!! Thanks SC.
~I remember once when i was at the weight they have put i had lost loads due to illness and my size 10 skirts were falling off me, size 8 fitted great. I looked like the grim reaper. Dont want to get that thin again. Not a snowball in hells chance anyways

Ags · 15/01/2008 23:34

Can I please join in? Went to ww last night. AGAIN!

I lost 4 stone a few years ago with ww and had a fantastic meeting with a leader who was totally on my wavelength ie. she talked about the points value of bottles of wine not glasses!! Of course the birth of 2 dc's and much overeating means I am right back where I started. And I ended my original weight loss by getting pregnant with ds and still had stones to go to get to goal so you will gather that I am very much a porker!

My meeting last night was really great and I feel very enthused. Today was good and I feel nicely empty for a change. Last night after the meeting I went and bought a huge bar of dairy milk and wolfed it ALL!

It is nice reading of your successes in the last couple of weeks. Seriously well done on the weight loss! I hope that I will be posting success next Monday night.

Great weight losses to all those I missed yesterday. Really encouraging.

I checked out my old ww books and I think I know where i'm at Just off to work out my points for the last 2 days to check if i've been ok!

Eddas · 16/01/2008 08:33

well yesterday I was fine even though my diner was a kebab but it was a chicken one so basically grilled chicken with pita and salad, not forgetting the garlic sauce

But monday I didn't realise how many points one tiny chicken kiev is 11, that's half my whole days allowance Won't be having one of those again

CayKon · 16/01/2008 08:54

Thought it would be a motivation for everyone to see all the great losses this week to keep them spurred on. It is always hard reading back through all the posts to see. (If anyone objects to this I wont do it agin)

Colditz -5 1/2
VVV -7
arau -4
perkin -2
silk - maintained
caykon -9 1/4

Sorry if I missed anyone just copy and add yourself to the list.

Keep going everyone these are great losses, we'll all look great in shorts in the summer

silkcushion · 16/01/2008 08:59

Eddas - at chicken kiev - I guess a chicken kebab is actually v healthy though.

Uc - size 8!!!!! That's a shoe size isn't it?

Ags - hello come on in

Inzidoodle - my dd is 10 weeks old and is my first - the wobbly stretch marked belly has been a bit of a shock to me. I was overweight before but was at least sort of firm. Nevermind we shall succeed.

I did a naughty thing this morning I jumped on the scales - not due to weigh in til next monday - but wanted to see how 2 days of ww had gone - 5lbs!!! hope it's at least that by official weigh in next week.

Stay strong ladies

silkcushion · 16/01/2008 09:01

Caykon - good idea if you can be bothered to do it. Makes me feel that I maintained so it's a great motivator for me. Must be for you too with 9 1/2 lbs

VeniVidiVickiQV · 16/01/2008 10:33

I dont object at all (I just couldnt be arsed to trawl back through the posts myself ).

Welcome Ags, and Inzi. The more the merrier.

I think there is a low fat version of chicken kiev you can make - if you can be arsed to make it . Would you like me to find the recipe?

I've had a banana, a pear, and a custard cream biscuit this morning. No idea about points for the biscuit but it cant be any more than 2 points I should think. Had the beginnings of cystitis last night and its still loitering this morning. I'm going to need to drink lots of cranberry juice which will whittle away my points but needs must.

Hello everyone. As of the scales this morning I lost 5lb yay. Celebrated with two bowls of shreddies with ff milk (which made feel very sick). Just had a tuna baguette for lunch, but probably won't have supper as dh will be back late.

YAY! And I went to Yoga last night. But, on the downside, a skirt that used to fit me brilliantly and jeans that I only bought in April just do not fit, so there is a lot to lose. In fact, when I look at ds (who is 2 stone) I realise that I have all that weight to lose and that is pretty depressing.

Off to drink more water and clean this godforsaken house.

lilibet · 16/01/2008 13:16

Well done Caykon - I was hoping someone would do that - I hope even more that I'm on it next week!

Yesterday I had 1547 calories so on my 11,000 a week, I'm right on track, which isn't really good news as I wa shoping to save some for weeeknd so that I could drink

18880 steps so far this week.

I'm very tempted with weightwatchers as you are all doing so well, I have done it before but yonks ago. Could someone answer me a couple of questions, is there a daily points allowance for steps on a pedometer and if so what is it? And how many points a day would I get at 12st 8? and at what weight would I drop down - I remember that being a killer? TIA

Ags · 16/01/2008 13:23

Got through my first day brilliantly. Had points to spare so treated myself to 2 digestives with cup of tea last night. THEN I checked the points! 4 bleedin points for 2 digestives! I could have had a crunchie with half a point to spare! Gutted but still stayed within my limit so not a complete disaster.2

Good today so far today. Had Mums and Tots group this morning and didn't have any biscuits. A major achievement!

I love the idea of the weight losses being posted up. It is nice to have a record of everyones successes.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 16/01/2008 13:26

Had a cuppa soup for lunch adn two slices of bread and butter with it. I know the cuppa soup is 0.5 points, bread and butter I think 3 points. Cant check until I get home.

Excellent news moodlum
