fedda · 12/01/2008 17:11

I'm not going to post what I was eating yesterday and today but I'll try to be better tomorrow. Oh, I've just remembered that i promised to be good from 7/01

mylittlepudding · 12/01/2008 17:24

Not very long - it's really early!
I'm making beef in red wine for tonight mmmm very naughty. Done ok so far today though, so a nice dinner will be ok.

Never seen a wholemeal crumpet. I do have a recipe for them, in which you could maybe substitute wholemeal flour, but it's always seemed unnecessary work

currantbunmum · 12/01/2008 18:51

Evening everyone

Not been bad at all today, was going to have a lamb dinner tonight but went round our neighbours for a couple of drinks and I ended up having lots of nibbles and wine, so am foregoing dinner to try and equalise the calories

I WILL BE GOOD TOMORROW

susiecutiemincepies · 12/01/2008 22:02

hello slimmer ladies

thanks for all your posts. Helps to talk about it all sometimes. amazing how much it helps actually

My hand is still bloody sore, and throbbing. Have checked out the wound, and no sign of infection at all. I think its just because of where it is and cant help but bend it all the time. It keeps bleeding too, she said it might be like this for a week or so

We had a lovely party for isobel today. and guess what......... DH came home! he was only able to be here for a few short hours, but, such an effort from him, and it meant so much. He left in tears, ( at 6pm) bless him, he just didnt want to leave. We are going to try to go up to sunderland this week, fingers crossed to stay with him for some family time. Hate seeing him crying. very very rare. too.

We eventually had a lovely buffet kind of lunch, which evolved as i went along, kept finding nice things in the freezer we'd forgotten about so we all ate really well. Then we did the cake! She was SO stunned. I put it infront of her as we all sang and she just stared at each of us one by one, grinning from ear to ear! then the hand was plunged into the middle of her cake Such a lovely day, except for Mr Cutie having to go of course.

I'm on my own again, now, left with left over nibbles, its very difficult not to pick at them! not been too bad though. I did eat with everyone, just not as much. Felt a little queesy anyway, with this change of meds I think.

You all seem to have been eating really well, well done!!! I agree re the expensive to eat hte healthier stuff. It a pain really, as i'd rather be eating healthy food actually, but it costs so much to make have enough in for a week.

pollywobbledoodle · 12/01/2008 22:21

fedda...it's in one of katy's posts on 10/1

hi susie...sorry it was a short visit but it sounds like it was worth it for the grin and the fist plunge!

katylessbumpy · 12/01/2008 22:26

MrsFish · 13/01/2008 11:16

maybe, maybe not, you'll have to hope for the best Well I had another bad night diet wise, and another night with no dinner to combat wine and nibbles

fedda · 13/01/2008 13:26

So far so good. Poridge with honey for breakfast and oh, just realized, coffee with 2 sugars. Mt stew is cooking - lamb, onions, garlic, celery, harricot beans and a small can of baked beans with mush pots.

susiecutiemincepies · 13/01/2008 14:44

hi girls

Having difficult time with little girl today. she keeps finding daddy;s things and pointing at the door crying daddy. I ts heart breaking. katy should be only another 6 months, at the most... i'll believe it when it actually happens and not before. Been let down once already. he was offered a job, similar to what he's doing now, and at the last minute it fell through. He needs to get the right one, he doesnt want to be changing jobs again, once he's back, anytime too soon.

Also, there are the issues with him and his DS. Tom is 10 this year, and almost 4 years since he's seen him. He has to fight for access in court, and this is th year we are really going to go for it. His company he's working with now, are based very near to where Thomas lives with the witch his mum. Big deal to no longer be any where near him, at any time... we've managed for a long time, with him commuting, and his job is moved around so much, it not been too much problem, until this past year, and now. this is the furthest he's had to work, Sunderland. We spent 6 months almost of last year, going up nad down on the train, every other week or so, and being together. Not long no though... just hoping, and keeping fingers crossed the right job comes up for him.

Started today really well, then had apple crumble and custard.

Breakie: honey nut fitness flakes thingies!
Lunch: home made jacket wedges with low fat fromage frias mint dip, also home made.
Tea: will be something made with mince! ideas anyone???

Are you all ok???

polly you've been a bit quiet lately, is everything ok?

susiecutiemincepies · 13/01/2008 14:46

Fubsy · 13/01/2008 14:51

Must get on with the exercise though.

Fubsy · 13/01/2008 14:51
