Do you go to class ?
How long have you been doing it & how much have you lost ?

I am on my second week (weigh-in tomorrow). I go to a weigh and go class in the city in my lunch hour and have lost 8lbs so far. I miss going to an actual class though so am looking for some support on here.

I lost the one pound I needed so have now lost one stone! I am so pleased with myself as I would normally have packed it in by now. It has really spurred me on to keep going.
How are you doing?

well done losers! and good luck to Dior!
I have lost 3lbs this week, I'm really pleased! altogether that's 10.5lbs since I started. Not hopeful for this week though as it's dd's birthday on Monday, my dad is visiting and he's brought lots of goodies with him...

marj · 20/02/2005 14:52

Good luck for this week mammya. Birthdays are fatal - too much cake and nice things!
Good for you Dior. The pay seems low though doesnt it. I know the sessions are an hour each or there abouts, but you must have to prepare for them too. Having said that, if you love your job you will probably get more satisfaction than if you were earning much more somewhere else - good luck!
I look forward to having a personal leader on line!!

Dior, how r u getting on now?? Dont worry we all have our down days. My dh is going away to work for 18 weeks at the end of March and ds is starting to show signs of having tantrums so maybe your experience will help me through the bad times.
I lost 3lbs today! I cant believe it seeing as I went for that blow out meal on Sat night.
Do you think it would of showed up on the scales yet???

Well done wozzle, great loss.

Dior, hope the rest of your evening went ok. I know once I have had a blip I find it very hard to get back on track. It's tough this dieting business isn't it .

I lost another 1/2 pound today - so 15 in total. Am pleased with that as my period is due and i was expecting to put on if anything.

eidsvold · 25/02/2005 04:53

dior, how you getting on, everyone has little moments, some of us more than others, but you seem to hve a lot of willpower, so im sure you will be back on track by now! at least you didnt put on!

well, i decided to weigh myslef on mondy, and i am 1lb lighter than i was just after xmas, before it started to go horribly wrong, so in the last week and a half i have somehow managed to get back into it and actually lose 5lbs! so i am really pleased with myself, and must admit, that it is defnitely been helped with the amount of exercise i have done - done loads of walks and even took the plunge by going back to the gym! however have had a rotten cold this week and not done nay exercise since wednesday, so hope it hasnt slowed things down this week.

keep up the good work everyone!

can you guys help me, i have been to tesco to do boring food shopping and noticed that the tesco healthy living range has points on the back....are these ww points or not, if they are there are some great meals.

Niddlynono · 01/03/2005 13:29

I've been doing WW for a couple of months although lost loads of weight through it a few years ago.
I was in plateau hell for a while but when I weighed myself yesterday I was the lightest I've been since pre-DS (who is now 2.5). Hurrah!

I love the WW cook books and now only buy other books if they list the calories and sat fat content of each recipe. Much easier than working it all out. Favourite WW recipes are Thai fish cakes ('Time To Eat'- I think), Fish pie - which my DS loves ('Classic') and Brie & courgette soup ('Family' - I think). I also tried a nice Thai chicken curry last night which was delicious.

One of my favourite meals though, if I've been bad with my points is a chicken breast and zero point vegetables, marinated in soy sauce, chilli sauce, garlic and whatever else I've got handy and all shoved on my Lean Mean Grilling Machine for 6 minutes. So easy and only a handful of points.

Lucykatie - yes they are WW points. I only found out about them by accident recently. If only other brands would do it too.
