Do you go to class ?
How long have you been doing it & how much have you lost ?

I am on my second week (weigh-in tomorrow). I go to a weigh and go class in the city in my lunch hour and have lost 8lbs so far. I miss going to an actual class though so am looking for some support on here.

ITS PUSHED ME TO GO FURTHER AND DO MORE WALKING.

god we are gonna look good on the beaches this year ...are we not?

Mercedes · 03/03/2005 21:17

Just started ww today. I should lose 3 stone but would be happy with 2.

My problem is I usually lose 10pounds and then I get bored/lose my stamina or things pop up to encourage me down the path of alcohol and food. I'm hoping that this time I can do it.

How about some recipes, I'm starting to get bored with salmon stir fry plus Blue Dragon sauce (4.5 points) NO noodles though.

fairycakes · 06/03/2005 00:29

dior - i was expecting to lose and i didnt,m so was dissapointed, but hopefully i will make up for it this week!!

i really dont get the no count thing! anyone fancy explaining the ins and outs to me? i heard this woman raving over it the other day at work (yes, work.....i have started back after 8 months of maternity leave - i am not happy, miss my baby girl far too much!! - also its a new job in a caoofee house, full of gorgeous cakes pastries, sandwiches muffins etc....it is really hard not to sample them all, i hope i dont give in one day...!)

lucykatie · 06/03/2005 20:44

hi squeezy, lost 3 pound this week so really pleased and i have noticed it aswell, gor two notches on my belt as opposed to one!!!

HOWEVER....dh has been really bad today and spoiled me rotten then took me out for a lovely dinner, he told me to forget my sodding points today and eat what i like......so i did!
DID GO ON A 2 MILE WALK AFTER THOUGH SO NOT TOO BAD EH.

HOWS EVERYONE ELSE DOING?

wozzle1 · 07/03/2005 10:37

Not had a great week...went to my friends for dinner on Friday night and had a kind of healthy mexican!! I have been saving some points since then so hopefully wont be too bad when I go to weigh in this wed. Just hoping that the birthday cake that I demolished wont be to harmful...
got to lose another 7lbs to get to 2 stone...got to get into that bikini this June!!!

fairycakes · 07/03/2005 19:20

does anyone know if there is a way of roughly working out the saturated fat if only the fat content is displayed on the nutritional information?

i stayed the same again this week, although im not surprised as i had a bad weekened. Hopefully will get on track again this week as got 3 weeks til dd's christening and i am determined not to look fat for the photos so she wont think she had a fat mummy when she looks at them later on in life!!!.....hmm!

Ags · 07/03/2005 20:01

Hi, to roughly work out saturated fat if only fat is shown, divide by 2. That is what my ww leader told me when I asked the same question. Don't know quite how accurate it will be but think it is fairly close most of the time.

Good luck

I TOO GET WEIGHED TOMORROW....BEEN SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD ALL WEEK AND DONE TONS OF WALKING.

WELL DONE EVERYONE SO FAR.

Berries · 10/03/2005 14:23

Only lost 5.5 lb this week , mind you, did go out and have had a lot of wine this week (oops). Still, makes 16 lb in 9 weeks, so not complaining too much. Need to refind my motivation to make sure I get rid of the other 2st by July.

Berries · 10/03/2005 14:23

I wish - that should, of course, have been 0.5lb

wozzle1 · 10/03/2005 14:26

I lost 2lbs this week, which Iam really pleased about, especially since i had that birthday cake and went to a friends for dinner but I have been trying to save points during the week to counteract those I had overeaten...guess it works!

Lucykatie, let us know how u get on...remember the trip to the loo before you go!!!
