100lb to lose

Annonnn · 31/12/2021 18:57

I have gained 100lb in the past 3 years and need to lose it.

I'm mostly just posting this so I have somewhere to keep track and other people can see my progress (or lack of) to keep me motivated.

I think I'll aim to post weight updates each Saturday, so here goes!

Current weight 230lb Blush

Couple of days late but;

End of week 7
Start weight; 230lb
Current weight; 215.9lb
Total loss; 14.1lb

Same as week 5 after being very relaxed for the first 2 weeks but that's fine.

Ahh! I completely stopped dieting (how silly of me!) , but after seeing a photo of myself yesterday I'm back on it 😬

In the past 2 months I've gained back 2.1lb, which still puts me at 12lb lower than when I started in January so it could definitely be worse.

New week 1
30/4/22 - 218lb

Fingers crossed :)

With only 2 lb you got back up over 2 months, it seems you are on a hopeful way - seems your habits are quite close to not gaining again.

SeeBiscuit · 01/05/2022 22:44

Good luck OP, I started this year at 219lbs 😥

currently at 188lbs and have at least another 45lbs to lose before I am back to my pre pregnancy weight. Baby is currently 8 months old so I’d love to lose most of it before I go back to work in August!

I’ve found intermittent fasting with C25K is currently working ok for me but there are times where i still feel like there’s so far to go!

Annonnn · 11/06/2022 09:25

Turns out I'm not very good at this, I never actually got round to starting again 6 weeks ago, life keeps getting in the way 😅
Ah well, time to try again

New New week one;
216.9lb (1.1lb down from 6 weeks ago so at least I didn't gain again 😁)

OP posts:
Annonnn · 18/06/2022 09:16

End of week 1

Current weight: 215.1lb
Loss this week: 1.8lb
Total loss since January: 14.9lb

OP posts:
Annonnn · 25/06/2022 07:58

End of week 2

Current weight; 213.2lb
Loss this week; 1.9lb
Total loss; 16.8lb

OP posts:
Annonnn · 02/07/2022 09:32

End of week 3

Current weight; 214.6
Gain this week; 1.4lb
Total loss; 15.4lb

Thought I'd update this since it's the last day of the year.

I started this year at 230lb, I'm ending the year at 200lb, a loss of exactly 30lb (2 stone 2lb).
It's safe to say I haven't been consistent with dieting at all so I'm quite pleased with that 😁

How many dress sizes did you drop by this year out of interest? I’m looking to lose weight this year but want my clothes to look better in me.

Annonnn · 31/12/2022 13:48

Honestly probably only 1. I think I was kidding myself that I was still an 18 when I was 230lb, realistically I was at least 20 but not admitting it 😂, now I'm a lot more comfortable in an 18 but still only wear leggings/jeggings so it's kinda hard to say

I did a quick weigh in again this morning... 199.7lb, saying goodbye to the 200's was definitely a nice way to start the new year 😁

TofuonToast · 01/01/2023 09:59

Congratulations @Annonnn! very proud of you! Happy new year 🥳

Annonnn · 01/01/2023 10:29

Thank you! Happy New year 😁

Update;
2 months in to the year and now 193.7lb this morning. 6lb in 2 months isn't amazing but I definitely go through stages of dieting for a week or 2 then just eating not as bad as I use to but still not great for a few weeks (plenty of takeaways but much smaller portions than before 😂) , so it's going in the right direction 😁

OP posts:
Annonnn · 08/04/2023 10:13

Update;
I weighed in this morning at 189.2lb, a super slow weight loss but it all adds up and it's still going in the right direction and I am firmly out of the 200's now! 😁
Total weight loss: 40.8lb

You are doing really well and it’s great to see you are making great progress this year. Hopefully you are feeling better for it.

Annonnn · 08/05/2023 10:42

One month on from my last update and I weighed in this morning at 186lb, 3.2lb down from last time.

Very slow but slowly in the right direction.

Great work Annonnn!

zoeFromCity · 10/05/2023 18:08

That makes it 44lbs down from start of this thread. That's 20 % down!
And you had to start by turning the trend first.

Well done!

Losingweightissohard · 10/05/2023 18:12

Well done you are smashing it and it’s a good steady loss.

SausageCasseroles · 23/12/2023 10:09

Just found your thread as I have (over) 100 last to lose and wondered how it was going and if you had any tips!

Annonnn · 28/12/2023 14:54

Hi :)
I'm back up at 197lb so it's not going well 😂 still 33lb down from when I started but I've really eaten terribly the last few months, I'll be back dieting again after new year :)

I started a thread last month :

Was on a thread a few years ago where quite a few of us lost a lot of weight. Unfortunately life happens and it is easy to regain. The thread has pretty much died currently but I think it might pick up next month .

I’ve been plugging away and am about 12 or 13lbs down since start of November and 22lbs down from my all time highest weight. Determined to get sorted but am not very mobile currently so having to rely on diet. Finding eating between 12 and 6pm helps regulate my appetite currently.

Any big losers up for it?! I did it on here back in the day and we had a really supportive thread going that massively helped. Sadly medication and...

33 down from hmwhen your started sounds good.

I started in September and was 16lbs down but have eaten all through Christmas and am really scared to weigh now 😬
