I just watched you are what you eat on 5, have to say the nutritionists or dieticians are so judgey and unrealistic about what people eat, sometimes down to life & budget. Anyway, it was enjoyable but I ain't throwing out my spices in exchange for a basil plant/parsley plant etc that I'll kill in a week
Down .6 today, into the 166's, 4 to go to be back at the starting line. Not as achy today so I'll do a workout later. Company over, so nice dinner planned.
Enjoy the last day of your hols gen!

@Not2bObvious

My eldest loves to catch me side view in videos & pictures, oh my it proper upsets me. I know people say be in the pictures, one day that's all your kids will have. Nope struggle with that, have visions of the grandkids thinking what an ugly mare grandma was 🙁 Shallow as a paddling pool me.
Please do not my bf didn't like taking pictures and I've got only a handful of us together, a few at a wedding and one selfie a day we were walking together.
Happierwithouthim · 06/01/2022 10:12

Lowest weigh in of this year so far this morning 198lbs Grin

Calm before the storm outside so I'm getting out for a walk now, meeting my dm halfway to collect dd and we're going to have a bite to eat.

Not2bObvious · 06/01/2022 13:10

Well done on the lowest 2022 weight happier, woohoo!
Body pump, treadmill jog and brisk 30 min walk outside. I thought the aches were subsiding but it was a very hard workout. Going to have another bath when I finish work. So much for muscle memory!

Hope everyone is ok take care 😚

Happierwithouthim · 06/01/2022 16:40

Got chicken Caesar salad for lunch it was smothered in the dressing and I only ate half it was too much sameness.

I always leave mine up until after 6th mrs too, even though my decorations weren't up to much this year.

Gensola · 07/01/2022 06:25

We are on our way home - quite an early flight. Had a great time but now need to get into my routine both in terms of finances and in terms of weight loss!
I’ve had a veg box delivered today which will be waiting when we get in, I’ll base our meal plan around that but try to think of stuff that will hit my macros, I’ve never bothered with them before so not sure how to combine it with the calories.
mrs I love baked potato beans and cheese.

I think our tree will have to come down tomorrow sadly. Sad it’s a real one and was already dry before we left for our trip so I imagine it’s basically bare twigs by now!

Not2bObvious · 07/01/2022 07:39

I just took down all my decorations, dismantled one tree and stripped the other, too big for me to dissemble and the box is up where the man needs to go (attic, I'm scared of heights & attics say spiders to me so nope!)
House looks cold & sad🙁 It'll take a bit of time to get used to lights that aren't twinkly, although I do maintain an amount of sparkly lights all year round.
Up .2 today so 167 even. The aches are dulling at last

Morning I've been absent for a while again. In good news I've dropped 1kg of my holiday cheese and wine gain. Hope everyone is ok

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/01/2022 18:09

Braved pump at lunchtime with very light weights. Chinese for tea though so swings and roundabouts

Mrsmadevans · 07/01/2022 18:31

Gen he wants baked pots cheese and beans again tonight !! l think he is like me with the tree and decs ,he wants a bit of comfort! Grin

Happier l am so glad to know someone else who does that , l am feeling as if l am being lazy Grin
Have been fine today , busy shopping so not needed to eat much , going to have baked potatoes in a min Grin

Not2bObvious · 07/01/2022 20:58

I grew up with the rule that decs up til the 6th Jan, then down. I don't always stick to it but this year I had an urge to get them down. Of course everything is as far as got it, himself has no great urge to finish the job!
Lots of walking today, busy busy. Ending the day on just under 1700, confessing here so I don't get tempted to go back to the fridge to forage.

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/01/2022 07:10

Same for us not always the 6th then down

Chinese was nice but I have a Junk food hangover and a spike
The doms

Happierwithouthim · 08/01/2022 09:24

I'm managing to stick to my new regime so far, 3 days in.
Had a lie in this morning, forecast is poor so think I'm going to get walk in before tackling the house can do that when it's raining, decorations need to come down, maybe some diy but there's laundry to be sorted too.
Sts again today which makes it 1.7lbs down according to happy scale

Not did you resist the fridge?
Life what did you get from Chinese?
Wolf thats a great loss
Gen welcome home

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/01/2022 09:52

Chicken fried rice chips and curry sauce. Also had a ripple and alc free cider

Aerobics done and protein shake. Feeling good today
Pouring down though. Will be a wet dog walk
Great start to reigime happier

Not2bObvious · 08/01/2022 09:55

Great start happier
Yep, resisted the fridge and was rewarded with a drop this morning. 3.8 down on last Saturday so now another 3.2 to get back to Christmas Day weight. Did a youtube dumbbell workout and 30 mins brisk walk/odd jog on the treadmill. Off shortly to do Mums taxi and food shopping, the utter glamour😂

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 08/01/2022 10:57

Update, after a ahem trip to bathroom 196.6 Grin 3.10 total now Grin

Not great loss, well done you
Life not raining here yet but I probably procrastinated too long and lost my dry weather window, oh well I'll wrap up Hmm

Gensola · 08/01/2022 12:23

Have just done all my measurements and starting photos and weight for PT. 143 today and 4 inches bigger on tummy than “usual” - no wonder the jeans are snug!
Meal planned until Weds, it’s hard to hit protein without eating more meat than I am comfortable with. Have found a kefir protein yogurt which I’m going to get and see if that helps.

Not2bObvious · 08/01/2022 12:57

Woohoo! Wish my bathroom trips were nearly as successful happier😉
It might take time to get up to the protein target gen, trial & error - good for you getting the measurements/pics all ready, are you excited to get started?

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 08/01/2022 13:24

I can't unsee the dimpled back of my legs, and that measurement was a shock for you gen but you've made a start now
As well as losing weight & getting exercise I'm trying to find a style of clothing too.
I bought 3 pairs of Spanx like leggings in much bigger size than I usually wear all three going back, think I need to go through my wardrobe, in the two hard to reach shelves put the clothes that don't fit currently & then what does fit where I can reach to make dressing easier.

Not toilet trips normally don't make such a difference I'd say it's just because I don't normally get to weigh twice because I'm up and rushing around sorting me, the dc, dog and now cat before work Grin

Almost home when the hailstones hit, literally hit me in the face luckily only a very quick shower.

Not2bObvious · 08/01/2022 14:14

Bought a lovely new pair of jeans in the sale. Sadly they are wayyyy too small - no give in them. I can only exchange them, no returns. And they're from a spensy shop so exchange would involve more €€€'s.
Shall I make them goal jeans? Take a pic (just for me, wouldn't like to scare anyone!) and try again next month? It will absolutely take some time but that I have

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 08/01/2022 14:39

By how much are they too small?

Happierwithouthim · 08/01/2022 14:40

I've done this with a few clothes and still don't fit into them so my new motto is to return, I've still kept the stuff that doesn't fit that I had already

Not2bObvious · 08/01/2022 14:47

Hmm, they're around 3-4 inches from button to button hole - so I'm going to say 1-1.5 sizes too small. They're from BT2, so my choices in getting something to replace them with are probably in the make up department 🙁 I'm a delusional dope. I think I have 2 weeks to decide, I'll try them again, take a pic and then do the same just before the return cutoff. See if there's any improvement.

Happierwithouthim · 08/01/2022 15:03

Could you get a scarf or something like that? Would they give you a credit note and you could wait for the next sale?
