Hhhmm I. An over eat on some of those tbh.

16500 steps and out of calories

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/01/2022 20:24

But saying that there is a lot of low calorie food there so wouldn’t be too bad

Not2bObvious · 03/01/2022 20:59

I'd lose weight on that cause eating as much as I wanted would mean I ate very little. The fruit/mushrooms/small amount of fish maybe but I'd be hard pushed to eat egg whites without the yoke. Weight will fall off you I'd say, best of luck with it.
I am utterly knackered but have passed into overtired state, badly need a decent sleep but it's not looking likely. I think I stuck to 2,000 - bit of guesstimating but certainly the lowest calories in around 10 days. Day 1 done

Back to normality by working today, just need to take down the decorations on Friday and life will be as before! Kind of tempted to start taking them down early but I like to do the 6th Jan as little Christmas Day. Will have EP over so it'll be nice to have one last evening of fairy lights etc.
Scales down a bit to 168.2, so according to happy scales I've gained 5.2lb in 7 days. First goal 165, the 160 - getting under the 162's has been elusive so I'll have to be patient.
How we all doing, is everyone back to work?
When you getting home gen, are you having a ball?

Gensola · 04/01/2022 12:32

Luckily not I am allowed to eat what I want, it’s just she suggests adding as much of those foods as possible to maximise being full within the calories. No way could I only eat those foods!
We are having a lovely time, we have been cooking in the airbnb for dinner but now been invited to a local’s house for dinner tonight which is so nice. Seen lots of cool things and going on a boat trip tomorrow which I’m super excited for. 25,000 steps yesterday - won’t be as many today as we drove to a nearby town for DH to see a family member for lunch and that’s taken up most of the morning.
PT suggesting 5 workouts a week - 3 cardio and 2 strength, 4 of them on my own but following her plan and 1 with her. Less worried about being hungry as when she reviewed my steps etc she put me up to 1510 cals - no idea why those 60 cals make me feel so much better 🤣

Not2bObvious · 04/01/2022 14:06

Phew, I'd be 4 minutes on that diet if it was all I could eat! Sounds like it was worth taking this trip too, you'll be raring to go by the time you get back.
I did a few hours solid work, did a 30 min body pump and a 35 min brisk walk so feeling v virtuous 😇 Skipped breakfast as wasn't initially hungry & then it got too late. But had a delicious lunch. Cooking & working this afternoon

Well today is just about a right off. Getting up early was a killer and no aerobics as dog to vets. No walk as running round doing errands in the car.
Food ish
Got a bloody cough back again

Not2bObvious · 04/01/2022 20:07

Pity about the cough life, not the best thing to have these days, proximity to people seems to set me off coughing/sneezing which goes down well...
Finished the day on 1500, not too much junk food & feeling fairly satiated. I'm already stiffening up, say the doms will kick in overnight.

northender · 04/01/2022 20:23

Weighed this morning at 17st 12 so still a stone down overall. Have done well all day, but dh and I finished a choc pudding I made a couple of days ago. But overall a much better day than I have been having!

Mrsmadevans · 04/01/2022 20:26

Life have you been checked out by the GP lovely? Sorry if l am going on but l can't remember if you went or not Flowers
Steps are fantastic for yesterday Life & Gen
So glad you are enjoying yourselves too Gen Smile
Not well done on the cals and the workout /walk hgreat start !
Big fat fail for me today but at least l feel awful and am avowing to start tomorrow serves me right!

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/01/2022 20:38

No haven’t been to the Gp, pharmacist said they won’t do any thing. This is round 3.

Came in on about 1800
And 7300 steps so could be worse

Happierwithouthim · 04/01/2022 20:38

Hey all I've come through the other side from the booster!

Back to work today Sad

Dd at my parents so only ds to get out in the mornings, going to take a half day on thurs to collect her because school reopens on Friday Grin

Just did my call with coach & I'm being put on 1800 cals meal plan so will see how that goes & just walking for first few weeks to ease me into it. His aim is 15kgs loss over 4 months and another 15kgs in the following 5 months. I don't lose fast but hopefully being consistent on this will help.

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/01/2022 20:40

Welcome back happier. Sounds great

Gensola · 05/01/2022 07:22

happier we can be PT buddies! Mine wants me to take measurements of various body parts and also photos - dreading doing that!
We were hosted by a local family last night and ended up having wine as they had bought in a special wine imported by their friend and even though I wasn’t drunk at all I have woken up feeling groggy and tired, I definitely think it does me no good, it’s made me even more determined to do a good month or even more dry. Since we are back on 7th I was thinking 7th Jan to 7th Feb as a minimum.
DH took some photos of us yesterday on our walk with his old friends and I look awful in them all - big round face, dumpy etc.
life I’m sorry you feel rotten still, is there any point in pushing GP/pharmacy?

not absolutely agree - egg white, pickle and chicken surprise anyone? 🤢😆

We are doing the Vasa museum today - it’s a massive viking ship 😁 and then a boat tour. Then the locals we met want us to come back to their house for dinner again which is unbelievably kind, they want us to meet their son this time, as he was out last night. I think we will go as we had a great time, but no wine today for me….

Not2bObvious · 05/01/2022 09:06

Nice to have a plan happier, I'd say sticking to 1800 will get you well on your way to those goals. Just keep at it, you've made the investment so that'll be great encouragement.
Not eating til lunch came back to bite me in the arse, couldn't get to sleep with the hunger so ended up eating toast at 12.30am...and a few crisps. I was still within my cals and am down a pound today. Had a egg based breakfast so starting today a bit better. Quite sore and feeling v fatigued with bad sleep. Glad I don't have to go to the office but I will need to shift my arse and get working soon.
Are these locals the people you were meant to stay with gen or other folk? They're very welcoming - that's so nice, your break sounds really great. It's around 13 weeks until our next break, fingers crossed! Never take any plans for granted these days

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 05/01/2022 15:40

I've to do photos weekly front back and side view Dd took them for me for starting off & I couldn't believe how heavy I've gotten, I think I'd reverse body dysmorphia because I thought I looked slimmer HmmHmm

The meal plan was done to exclude foods I don't like so I think it's possible to stick to.
I printed it out at work today.

I spoke too soon about booster was an awful night last night too, night sweats & terrors & headache still not lifting.

Not nothing worse than being awake with hunger

I sts this morning

My mini goal is a wedding end feb which also happens to be my birthday & I've another one at Easter plus June bank holiday I'm going to a festival with my sister.

Happierwithouthim · 05/01/2022 15:40

Gen holiday sounds like it's going well

Not2bObvious · 05/01/2022 16:00

You'll never see yourself the same again happier, you're on track now.
The doms are just getting worse as the day goes on 😩 Got a good hours walk in, over 10,000 according to my phone so that's acceptable

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 05/01/2022 16:15

Good point not - oh the doms Wink

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/01/2022 17:01

I saw myself through someone else’s video today , oh my word.
No weight this morning as scales wouldn’t switch on. Decent day but had a protein bar and feel icky now.
10k steps

Not2bObvious · 05/01/2022 19:34

My eldest loves to catch me side view in videos & pictures, oh my it proper upsets me. I know people say be in the pictures, one day that's all your kids will have. Nope struggle with that, have visions of the grandkids thinking what an ugly mare grandma was 🙁 Shallow as a paddling pool me.

Mrsmadevans · 05/01/2022 19:58

Watching addicted to sugar on channel 5 . Quite interesting.
I guess tracked and am
About 1600 and about 12700 steps

Not2bObvious · 05/01/2022 21:24

I watched the Diet myths thing on 5 last night, I love a diet program.
Just under 1600 and feeling ok, famous last words, hopefully I don't find myself eyeing up the toaster after midnight so someone after the pub!

Gensola · 05/01/2022 22:44

not they are actually different people but so lovely. DH snapped a photo of me lying on a giant chair at a train station today and god it was a wake up call life so I feel your pain.

Last day of trip tomorrow then down to it with the PT.

life, not I am actually addicted to shows like this, I love all the «truth about carbs/fat/calories» type shows and anything to do with diet or weight loss or nutrition. DH thinks I’m mental, he can’t bear them 🤣 Dr Rangan Chaterjee had some called doctor in the house which were very good and I think are on you tube.
