Eleventy billion calories and all of them worth it yesterday

Mrsmadevans · 26/12/2021 15:00

Happy Boxing day everyone Smile
Sounds as if everyone had a lovely day yesterday
l didn't eat a lot yesterday but have made up for it today Xmas Grin
Our Christmas lunch was gorgeous fair dos Smile
Had florentines and macaroons and a big mince pie , coffee made with milk ....so far lol Xmas Grin
I am sure l have put half a stone on already Hmm

Not2bObvious · 26/12/2021 20:12

Today might be an eleventy million calorie day here too as well. Meh, tomorrow will be better...or worse😉

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 26/12/2021 21:03

It was here not. I feel like an egg on legs. Have re downloaded mfp and toying with calorie total. 1600 or 1800. ?

Mrsmadevans · 26/12/2021 22:01

Felt very full all day , this scoffing business is not all it's cut out to be , l had to go for a walk to get rid of the overful feeling it's horrible isn't it !
I blame the mince pie ! Xmas Grin

Not2bObvious · 26/12/2021 22:16

1800 to start, hold firm for 2 weeks, reassess then. Always start on highest, but has to be honest for at least 2 weeks. What you think?

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 26/12/2021 22:18

Oh and yes mrs, the overfull but still scoffing feeling is rubbish. Water and bed is the solution. I know I'm on holidays but if I stick to 3 meals, plenty of walking and alcohol enough for fun nor headaches I might be ok??🤞

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 26/12/2021 22:22

Thank you Not l am going to bed after Eastenders , have not eaten since 3pm it's horrible ! I will drink some more water now too thank you Smile

Not2bObvious · 26/12/2021 22:30

Good for you, I watched the thing with Claire Foy, in bed now with water & nil by mouth until tomorrow! Can't wait to get away.
Question for gen, if you did get home to NI is it ok? Has to be better than ROI with all bars & restaurants shut after 8pm

A stone put on in two days, just marvelous. I was being quite good too (compared to previous years). I've even exercised. Oh well, hopefully can start to undo this in the next week or two.

Not2bObvious · 27/12/2021 06:52

Not even remotely possible to put on a stone so don't worry talk. You're absolutely right, it'll be gone in a week or two.
I've a scale gain of 4.8 pound which is down to all the sugar/salt/extra carbs, pure bloat. No more scales until Thursday or Friday, might even wait until a few days into the new year as 3 days away isn't going to be helpful.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2021 08:30

Yes 1800 I think

No way a stone in a few days. Definitely bloat.
Might moderate down today in preparation.
Hope
You get away gen.

Not2bObvious · 27/12/2021 08:46

I'm trying to moderate but how realistic that is with a mini break ahead of me but I've started with a 365 cal breakfast with 20gr protein. I'd kill for a choccie biccie though 😔

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2021 09:14

Ha do the mini break not them we will smash it in January

Happierwithouthim · 27/12/2021 11:30

I'm going to reset my happyscale on January 1st & start back tracking on Nutracheck too

200.6 today & yesterday so 3lbs up, I've gotta start taking my metaformin consistently too. Alcohol is not agreeing with me at all, half glass of wine last night & I just felt awful, taste of Bacardi the night before so that's gone too.

Roughly 20 weeks to ds's communion & I managed to look good and lose some weight in same timeframe for dds communion. Have wedding in approx 8 weeks and another one probably 8 weeks later.

Had a croissant from air fryer this morning with two Terry's choc orange segments in it Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2021 19:06

Clothes don’t fit, can’t stop eating……

TalkToTheHand123 · 27/12/2021 19:46

What you been eating llf?

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2021 20:59

Everything.
Todays tea was Yule log, Pringles and pretzels with lots of tea. TBF I did have toast for breakfast and turkey stew with Stilton and walnut bread. It’s most likely bloat rather then after 8s

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/12/2021 20:59

It will come off when I am better and back on track

Mrsmadevans · 27/12/2021 21:47

Have scoffed and scoffed , l have totally recovered from the bloat thank God and have given the food cupboard a good old battering today. Have decided the dried fruit in the MInce pie and the florentines yesterday were what did for me yesterday .Avoided them like the plague today and am not too bad at present despite inhaling so much food l can't even remember what altogether Xmas Hmm Grin
I will be back on it asap and thankful to be too!
Not Happier life twill be fine l am sure, just get Christmas out of the way and then we are up boys and at it! Smile

Not2bObvious · 27/12/2021 22:47

Taking your advice life, quite frankly scared to even try put it into mfp. Flip sake, why is this couple of weeks soo hard to not be a glutton😡
I do enjoy it in the moment but the guilt!!!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 28/12/2021 08:33

Don’t do mfp. Have the break and we will
Be back on it January.
It’s hard with the guilt but it’s 2 weeks max. There are 50’others to moderately

Not2bObvious · 28/12/2021 09:29

Nope - refuse to break my streak. Hotel breakfast eaten, too much and not that nice, I'll know better tomorrow. Off for more shopping, bloody teenagers

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 28/12/2021 10:06

I did track & did the high cal vs low cal days from team rh one Christmas & didn't gain & looked good for my first wedding as a separated woman. I still enjoyed myself too

Happierwithouthim · 28/12/2021 10:07

Ds is laughing in his sleep here Grin
