Gensola · 27/03/2022 18:52

Thanks guys Smile 💜 I’m off to France tomorrow with DH and my best friend. We booked it back in November and have been looking forward to it. Very early start, 0430 getting up 🙈 won’t be tracking until we get back on 3 April.

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/03/2022 19:22

Enjoy Gen.

Not2bObvious · 27/03/2022 21:17

Dreadful night sleep, feeling meh and scales spike

Happierwithouthim · 28/03/2022 07:34

Enjoy gen
Life chin up it'll be the salt from the gammon

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/03/2022 09:18

And the masses of ice cream and Ferraro rocher. Aerobics done though pump planned later

Not2bObvious · 28/03/2022 10:09

I've given up weighing in on Mondays for the foreseeable future. Stands to reason if we eat more food on the weekend the scales will show it. When I learn to treat every day the same then I'll reconsider. Hopefully by Wednesday it'll show a better reflection but that's just a check in weight anyway. If I'm showing high Wednesday after 2 good days I'll know it's an arsehole week & won't expect a decent result Friday. The week I lost .2 was like that and I think as women, we're very likely to get 1-2 bloaty weeks due to hormones.
That's my story & I'm sticking to you until my next revelation😂

*to it. Ffs, fingers are fat as always!

not my PT has us weigh on Wednesday for that reason. I’ve missed two now with Cornwall and then this week in France. Hope I don’t regain all the weight I’ve lost!!
Just arrived In Marseilles and waiting for the bus. It’s beautifully sunny. Hoping to get to airbnb soon and then head out for lunch.

Not2bObvious · 28/03/2022 11:01

I don't think you will gen, you seem like you're in the zone. I'm not sure what my holiday strategy will be, I managed to stop the afternoon/evening crisp habit the last sunny break in August. Always walk loads so that's not the issue. Hefty lunches with added liquidBlush Hmm, I'll do some planning.

Soo I have 28 calories left and really want ice cream, what’s a girl to do after a shit day

Actually no I don’t I’m-50

Not2bObvious · 28/03/2022 20:03

Left behind a few cals so I've around 1600 for the next 3 days coming up to Friday weigh in. Might need some extra for Thursday with EP visiting.
I've had a day myself life, I did have ice cream but only a little one. The temptation to do the old MN 'I'm sorry did you mean to be so rude?' was vv strong.
I think your calories are too low, you're very active for what was it, 1550'ish? Much as I dislike the you know who gang, they did have a point in saying no point in trying to eat too low and not being able to stick to them over time

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 28/03/2022 21:57

Not life the cals in ice cream aren't that bad and it does you good to treat yourself Smile
Not great idea not weighing on a MON Smile
Gen have a wonderful time in France Smile
Life a couple of tip tops ? l resort to those or 10 cal jelly with a squirt of cream if l am desperate Smile
Busy today have been excellent thank God Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/03/2022 07:23

Oh yes 10 cal jelly
I did go over by ice cream but all good
Forgot to weigh today

I’m grand early in the week but might up later . Having a awful time with hormones and low mood atm which isn’t helping

Not2bObvious · 29/03/2022 08:46

No, that certainly won't help - I have a bad habit of keeping daytime cals low so what I have left at night goes on junk, and junk just leads to more junk as I'm already hungry and it's not filling me. I'm trying to allocate the 20%, then if I'm still hungry I eat something that's a bit nutritious or at least not more choc/crisps. Trying is the word though, it's a process.

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/03/2022 17:48

At calories now11700 steps and a short dog walk to do
Having a hungry day

Mrsmadevans · 29/03/2022 19:04

Life hormones damn things they are a pita! Flowers
Not that sounds a great idea , l am trying to keep off the sugar but the reduced sugar Heinz beans l bought don't taste very nice tbh with you Hmm
I have been ok, reduced sugar beans and Cod fish cakes tonight , do not recommend the Heinz RS beans they are tastless however they are very filling Hmm can't have it all Grin
Gen hope you are having a ball lovely Smile

Not2bObvious · 29/03/2022 20:53

I think no added sugar baked beans should get in the bin. I doubt any of us have gained weight from beans, unless they were jelly or chocolate! You have my express permission never to eat them again mrs, muckity yuck.
Finished the day a shade under 1600, it'll do. Around 11,500 steps. Bodypump/jogging steps day tomorrow ideally before 7.30am however that is a challenge. I'll talk myself in/out of it a million times no doubt. I can do it later, earlier just sets the tone of the day better.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 30/03/2022 06:27

Low sugar baked beans are Envy

Not2bObvious · 30/03/2022 07:32

Dry here for now but no doubt once I decide to go for a walk after school drops, it'll bucket down. Did my Wednesday check in weight, down .2 on Fridays 165. This feels like an arsehole week despite best efforts. I'll have to be super vigilant to avoid a gain by Friday as I reckon I'm holding fluid etc. Lots of water, caution around carbs. I know it's only scales weight but I have a BP & BMI check at the docs next week before hols and I'm desperate for the records to show an improvement on my last visit. I don't know if I can take another lecture

OP posts:
Gensola · 30/03/2022 08:08

I just had a croissant and two massive slices of buttered bread for breakfast. With jam on the croissant. 😁might throw an egg in for protein. The bread here is to die for so have just been enjoying it.
Low sugar baked beans are evil.

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/03/2022 08:21

Enjoy gen

Happierwithouthim · 30/03/2022 11:20

I changed my scales to kg for my suitcases and seeing as that's what my coaching app uses I left it on it. 91.3 last week 89.6 this week so approx 1.5lbs lost, it had been a little bit more during the week but that's Tues to Tues.

Dd went down to tidy her room, and I went to check on her, sound asleep 💤 actually snoring, I've technology removed from the room now.

I also had croissants this morning, found two bake at home ones in freezer so had them with 2 bacon medallions this morning delicious Grin

Totally agree about beans but they don't feature much in my life anyhow.

Not hope you avoid lecture from GP

Not2bObvious · 30/03/2022 11:56

I think I might throw a hissy if anything is said, I'm bringing my bp monitor to show the differences and I'll be having strong words if I don't get my prescription reissued because I'm overweight. Overweight people need help too!
