I listened to that on audiobook mrs, it was done so well. The next one is even better.

DH and I actually listened to both of those Richard Osman books on audio - really enjoyed them!

Hangover didn’t really lift though I did feel better after a very carby brunch 😄 having an early night now to try and recover. Dry week ahead as the trip leader so that’s one good thing anyway.

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/03/2022 08:08

Oh I will try that book,
Rubbish day yesterday drawing a line

Not2bObvious · 19/03/2022 10:40

I went wayyyy over my calories yesterday, I count Friday as my start of the week since it's my official weigh in so I think that helped me with the fluff it mentality. Not to worry, it's just a lost diet day & can probably assume today will be the same as have a birthday party tonight to go to. No drinking will at least reduce the damage.
Told them all I'm working out soon so taking over the living room - now I have to do it. Another stunning day here, walk or jog after workout for sure

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 19/03/2022 15:12

I did the most begrudged workout ever for 40 mins before a 20 min jog to the shops and the a walk around/walk home just about hitting my 10,000 steps. Relaxing for a couple of hours before getting ready for party. Designated driver, I don't miss the drink but I could do without the drinkers😂

Long dog walks and gardening mean I got my 15k
Drunk people are a pain

Mrsmadevans · 19/03/2022 18:01

Oh Life that sounded blooming gorgeous , well done on the steps and the gardening hasn't it been absolutely gorgeous today, l loved the book it's very easy reading Smile
Gen glad you are feeling better than you were take it easy , sit out in the garden and have Dh wait on you Smile

Not2bObvious · 19/03/2022 18:06

I can't wait for the new one, if you have the library audio app mrs, I'd highly recommend listening to the audio versions. Leslie Manville reads them and she's absolutely perfect! She just captures the characters fantastically.
Wasn't it an utterly gorgeous day, I bought myself a pair of jeans and they're lovely on. Now to find something to pair them with 🤔

Life l do have the library app Grin , l will try them on audio thank you for the heads up . l always listen to radio plays or wind blowing or audio books in the night Smile
It's been absolutely gorgeous , it makes everything so different , l am filled with exhilaration at the very simplest of things because life is so much nicer with a bit of sun and warmth , it's the little things , Le Sigh Smile

Home from the party, went v well - still going strong, I had to bring kids home and I was wrecked. Maintenance cals today but it could have been much worse so I'll take it as a positive. Might take a drive to a park in the morning for a run nice & early.

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 20/03/2022 14:28

Not so glad it went well lovely 😊 well done on the maintenance Cals that's brilliant 👍 beautiful day here 😊
Have a lovely day everyone 😚
Doing ok having a roast chicken dinner via DH so that will be lovely and not too calorific 😊

Not2bObvious · 20/03/2022 15:05

Got a long local walk done, 11,500 steps so that's decent. Roast dinner sounds lush mrs, enjoy. Getting a healthy takeaway here

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 20/03/2022 19:02

Got all my steps and more gardening but all
The sweet stuff

Not2bObvious · 21/03/2022 07:17

Another maintenance day yesterday, pretty much been maintenance cals since Thursday. Haven't done a post weekend weight check as no doubt higher carbs will show a higher number & not in the mood to be irritated. I'll do better the next 4 days.

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/03/2022 07:20

And reset. 4 weeks to holiday, time to get back in the game

Gensola · 21/03/2022 09:23

Two sleeps into the student trip - it’s all going well. Managed a body pump class (brought weights with me!) and 10000 steps yesterday with a pre breakfast walk plus a lunch walk. Today should be more steps as doing a longer walk with the students. Unfortunately food is quite carby at dinner so trying my best to have very healthy breakfasts and lunches as those are more in my control. The spot we are staying is beautiful - right on the beach!

Not2bObvious · 21/03/2022 09:44

That's dedication gen, fair play. I got a pre-work walk done and banked 4,000 steps. Nice start to the day. Have to do a work related walk soon - should have my 10,000 min by lunchtime

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 21/03/2022 11:27

That was my lunch one of the days gen carb overload Grin

Frugaleers - into 2022
lifelongfrugaleer · 21/03/2022 13:19

You took your weights wow gen
Ooo carb central therr

Not2bObvious · 21/03/2022 13:53

Omg, I'm salivating here! That looks delicious happier
Dumbbell workout done, just over 11,500 steps so all good for a Monday.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 21/03/2022 19:34

183 over darn those pesky bunnies, 18500 steps . Intended doing pump but puppy was being a pain

Not2bObvious · 21/03/2022 20:52

I'm a fair bit under my cals, trying to claw back some of the overspend from the 4 day weekend.
Best avoid them bunnies with the holiday coming up life, I've under 3 weeks to go and going to try very hard to get a pound or two off. I reckon I need 10,000-12,000 steps daily and 1700 to lose .5 a week. That's just about liveable. And then a week away will earn me half a stone don't you know! Oh well

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 21/03/2022 21:02

Well done everyone Smile
Been busy as per so not too bad, had beans on toast tonight because we just didn't know what to have Hmm
Happier that looks delicious
Gen the trip sounds gorgeous enjoy! Smile
You can do that Not & Life Smile
Beautiful day here supposed to be lovely all week Smile

Happierwithouthim · 21/03/2022 22:21

I didn't know what to have at lunch/brunch today so I had a fried egg in the middle of a toasted ham & cheese sandwich croque Madame type endeavour Grin

Not2bObvious · 22/03/2022 07:30

That sounds delicious happier
Lying in bed contemplating breakfast and my tummy is proper rumbling. Probably linked to low cal Monday. Looks like it's going to be another nice day so hopefully get my steps in around work
