I hit the chocolate last night so not the best day. Not sure if I’m fighting cold now.
Bloody lockdown has wrecked my immune system

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/03/2022 17:28

All the food today still g feeling meh. No point trying yet

Not2bObvious · 08/03/2022 17:29

I'm saving my calories today so I can have a decent choc'fest later - there are days when it's necessary, today is that day. Pulled a muscle and my back is screaming at me.
Lots of people smothered with cold/chesty things around my way life, the way we've been living certainly isn't conducive to a robust immune system or at least that's how it looks!

My Dd2 has the most awful cold and chest , it's not Covid she's done seventy eleven LFTs & a PCR all negative 👏 but she's been awful life hope you feel much better soon 💐
Not enjoy your chocolate 😋 & l hope your back is better soon 🤗
Busy day again so not had anything yet , oven chips and fish fingers tonight 😊

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/03/2022 19:40

I was just having that same moan not. Our immune systems are shot to pieces

Not2bObvious · 09/03/2022 08:25

Back is still very achey and stiff, it should ease out a bit over the course of the day. Quick weigh in to ensure no big flux that might need course correction. Still .6 up on Fridays 166.8 - but 2 days to go to get a full weeks reading. Thinking if I weigh Friday/Monday/Wednesday I'll have a good idea how I'm progressing or not. Still sticking to 1600 quite well, was 100 last night. Last week I seemed able to save more cals, not as easy the last couple of days so the challenge will be to keep on track for the weekend. No plans so mightn't be too hard & no booze sure helps!

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 09/03/2022 08:26

That should have read 100 under but to be honest a lot of the 1500 was junk. Must eat better today, too much sugary crap will bite me in the ass!

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 09/03/2022 20:11

I've had to take myself away from all food sources, basically gone to bed! 1600 is pretty tough to stick to when you blow a stack of it on a lunch that wasn't particularly filling. Teeth are brushed so that's the ultimate signal that I'm done eating. Better allocation of cals needed tomorrow for sure.
How's everyone else getting on? The weather is horrible here, lashing rain for hours

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/03/2022 20:50

I’m getting on badly tbh, really can not get back into the head space

Gensola · 09/03/2022 20:52

I’m exhausted and struggling to stick to my 1500 cals. I think I’ve hit my body’s “set point” and its fighting me now. Just going to try and stick to it as much as I can and ride it out. everything just feels like a slog - work etc is so busy.
not my dinner was a bit of a fail and similarly want to keep eating as it wasn’t satisfying. Also had a G&T after work, guess I should be glad it wasn’t a bottle of wine or three

Not2bObvious · 09/03/2022 22:40

1500 is brutally tough with your workload & activity gen, don't be too hard on yourself. It takes a hell of a lot of determination to stick to that week in week out and you've done really well. You can always choose to take a slower pace for a week or two, your body & definitely your mind will thank you for it.
I think you need a break life, you've been poorly a lot the last while, you've plenty of time to diet when you're fully better & in a better mind space. This is bloody torture sometimesThanks

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/03/2022 07:11

Yeah I’m just not even trying. I know I can do it just not this will
It is tough gen. Do you need a carb re feed?

Mrsmadevans · 10/03/2022 08:04

Not that weigh in is excellent when you think about it. Well done 👍
Life hope you are feeling much better very soon l know you haven't been well for a while now. Something l always make sure l do is take Vitamin D everyday. It is supposed to help our immune system 💐
Gen you are doing brilliantly but it's quite a severe regime you are on. I think Not is right it's too severe to be able to stay on long term without having a breakout 💐
Am doing ok busy and so much easier to stick with it then thank God !

Happierwithouthim · 10/03/2022 10:03

Hi everyone, haven't been posting but been carrying on. Hope everyone's Thurs is going well. My flux from alcohol and carbs has dissipated a little bit today 4lbs of it gone Grin

Not2bObvious · 10/03/2022 11:27

That's really good happier, over a quarter of a stone. It's a beautiful sunny day here, did a brisk walk to the shop as a break and it's soo nice. Only one workout done this week because of my muscle strain but will get one done tomorrow.

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/03/2022 16:14

Not2bObvious · 10/03/2022 17:28

Happy Friday all.
Looks like I'm going to have to dig deep into patience, my much hoped for successful weigh in has delivered a .2 loss from last Friday. That's right a whole fifth of a pound lost, around 90 grams. That's the bikini body sorted thenHmm
So now I've had my tantrum, I'll look on the bright side, I'm down 1.2 from Monday, so I should try not to put on a pound bloat this weekend that takes 5 days to shift before being able to tackle my actual girth. This bright side appears to veered to ranting.
2 weeks no alcohol on 1600 and averaging 10,000 steps a day, I've 4 more weeks of this before holidays, might lose a full pound by then

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 11/03/2022 07:54

Rant away not.
Walked to work. Resistant to bacon roll so far

Not2bObvious · 11/03/2022 08:14

Good work, the lure of bacon can be very strong. Couldn't decide on breakfast so had a banana to tide me over for an hour or 2.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 11/03/2022 13:15

Did a 30 min bodypump and some dancing steps, under 4,000 steps but I'll try get the other 6,000 over the course of the day. It hasn't stopped raining all morning but it's meant to clear up soon. Might see can I get an outdoor walk done

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 11/03/2022 21:41

Happier that's amazing well done 👍
Life well done on resisting the 🥓 bacon!
Not you have done brilliantly to stop yourself in your tracks from just putting loads of weight on . I take my hat off to you great job !
Have been awful this evening been so busy all day but DH has gone to the rugby and l am alone binge watching Glee , have stopped now at last 🙄

Gensola · 12/03/2022 08:33

life that’s heroic resisting bacon!
I have a work event 12-4 where there will be calorific food so I’m thinking of skipping breakfast if I can manage it. Have been over my cals most days this week but now term is over and it’s just exam marking I’m hoping to get back on it. I haven’t managed a workout in days either so def need to get a body pump in before going in to work today.
mrs DH made me sausages and …. Baked Potatoes last night 🤣
