lifelongfrugaleer · 05/03/2022 08:54

I did all the dog walks yesterday and managed 3k steps, going to try to be back on it today though tastebuds still wonky

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/03/2022 08:54

Not 3k 17k

Not2bObvious · 05/03/2022 09:52

That's a lot of steps life, hope you rest a bit today. Maybe soup might be an option?
Got a 25 min jog/20 min walk done - nearly 7,000. Mums taxi/shopping service coming up, might get the remaining 3,000 done with that and relax this afternoon. Might have food out tonight, nothing too heavy

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/03/2022 19:22

17800 steps today, feeling ok tbh but lots of chocolate. M&S takeaway as didn’t fancy Chinese but chicken still frozen

Mrsmadevans · 05/03/2022 19:38

Excellent steps LIfe hope your tum is much better this evening Flowers
Not well done on not getting on that damn scales , hope the taxi service for your Mum was enjoyable Flowers
Been fine again today thank God, l had to do a lot up Mumbobs today so it kept me off the food Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/03/2022 20:12

Definitely much better. I bought a probiotic today too

Not2bObvious · 05/03/2022 21:32

I'm the taxi actually mrs, kids have activities that require ferrying around 4 days a week. Meant to say you're the only other person I've heard mention Mrs Maisel, I bloody love it! Thrilled the new season is out, rationing myself today to watch the new episodes. So quirky, don't know if you get the Gilmore Girl feel, same team.
Really enjoyed today, 16,000 steps so that's great too

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/03/2022 07:37

We love mrs Maisel here. She says the things I wish I was quick enough to say,
18k steps
133.5 today. Back mostly on it but there will be cake for fil birthday later , when I make it

Mrsmadevans · 06/03/2022 08:43

Morning everyone 😀
Mrs Maisel is just so cleverly created. I love everything about it tbh, the music, the fashion, make up , the elegance, the back drop they film against , the script is so sassy and funny , last but not least the roles are so so perfectly cast . It's an excellent series & l love it .
I do love fashion though, it's a real favourite of mine. Am presently watching Making the Cut with Heidi and Tim on Prime & The Single Wives on Netflix. I am a bit of a sucker for romance even though it's all fake 🤗
Life 133.5 is excellent, happy birthday to him 😀🎂have a lovely day with your Dfil so good of you to make a cake for him 💐
Not l haven't watched the Gilmore girls yet either but it's on my list now thank you 🤗. l am busy reading my library book The Appeal , it's a real page turner l love it ! So heads up if any of us like a letter style /diary/ email /messages book like Bridget Jones format. It's a murder mystery but it's mixed up in a lot of other things going on 🤗
I am so glad you enjoyed yesterday , hope you have a great day today too 💐
Off to MumBobs have a lovely day everyone 😊
Waves to everyone 👋👋

Gensola · 06/03/2022 08:44

Dinner was a success - I did succumb to some wine but only a little bit so I’m hangover free today Grin
I have a lot of marking to do but want to get a walk in for steps and my strength workout, although AF is very heavy so not really feeling very energetic!

Mrsmadevans · 06/03/2022 08:48

Gen l am so pleased for you that the dinner went so well 👏👏👏🤗💐
Hope AF behaves herself and eases off for you today 💐
Have a lovely walk and enjoy yourself despite the dang marking 🤗

Not2bObvious · 06/03/2022 09:03

The fashion in Mrs Maisel is perfection, although some of Midges hats in the latest season aren't for me (overthink much haha)
Glad your dinner party went well gen.
A heavy period literally drains you, esp if you've a bit of a head - good for you with the exercise plan, I should be doing something too. Not sure what I'll manage tbh

not I have watched Gilmore Girls right through at least three times 🙈 I find it so calming.

Not2bObvious · 06/03/2022 11:40

Similar genBlush At least twice anyway and third go-round in/out of it when it's been on terrestrial TV. It's oddly addictive but so maddening/irritating at points as well. Perfect TV really😂

Yeah some of the hats are a bit Hmm this season. She has an amazing figure. Im not really a dress girl but I love the cropped trousers.

Not2bObvious · 06/03/2022 17:55

Oh yeah, her figure is amazing - do you remember in the first season that she measured herself daily & recorded it? Hehe, bit like us!

Mrsmadevans · 06/03/2022 18:57

Just finished my book it was brilliant Smile
Gilmore girls have gone on my list to be watched Grin
Baked pots for tonight Grin
Have a lovely evening everyone Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/03/2022 20:41

I know with the tape measure. I forgot about that

Not2bObvious · 07/03/2022 16:39

Another week to smash! It survive more likely. Did another body tone, followed by a 30 minute jog and then a 45 min walk at lunchtime. Where do I collect my medal😂
Burger for dinner, no chips but will make a nice healthy pudding. How's everyone else getting on?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 07/03/2022 17:01

Still survival today, food will be ok. Walked to the office and back. Can’t face weight lifting yet

Gensola · 07/03/2022 18:51

I did 40 min strength workout and a walk at lunchtime so steps are ok, around 14000. Calories have been up for several days in a row now so need to get back on it!
Dinner this eve is DH homemade lamb cottage pie with a carrot, beetroot and pistachio salad he whipped up from the veg box remains.

Not2bObvious · 07/03/2022 18:52

About 10 cals over but v honest, I could eat & eat but I won't. Averaged a shade over 1600 last week, did a quick weight check & up 1lb on Friday which is pretty decent for a Monday. Hopeful for a pound off by Friday 🤞

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 07/03/2022 20:00

We used to measure ourselves when we went to SW , it was to boost us when we didn't lose, usually an AF week Hmm
Not that's excellent work well done !
Gen great steps and what a meal from Dh tonight !
Life no to weight lifting l don't blame you !
Been fine here , Mumbobs oil boiler has broken down so been mega busy Hmm found someone to repair it, after going around every house in the street to find someone who had an oil boiler , it needs a part so it won't be done till Friday but they have an open fire and a big electric heater we took up today so they should be ok hopefully , Mum will have to have a bowl and a lick and a polish Grin
