Sounds flu'like - you poor thing, fluids & paracetamol, rest up. Hoping you'll feel better soon.
It does feel strange mrs, but so so welcome. I started to think we'd never see an end to them, excuse the drama! And there's clearly many who still feel safer, hope they start to feel more comfortable without

Ah no life sorry to hear that, hope you warm up. My bf's brother said he couldn't warm up first few days

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/03/2022 06:49

Urgh tummy bug

Not2bObvious · 02/03/2022 07:10

Oh dear, that's rough life. Hoping it's out of your system soonThanks

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/03/2022 08:15

Me too. Lost a lb though, every cloud

Not2bObvious · 02/03/2022 08:31

I'm still scales dodging - did my water on waking trick. Sleeping pretty decent the last couple of nights but waking early & tired. Energy levels are pretty low but mood is ok so swings & roundabouts. I'll get dressed for a workout & see how the morning goes.
That's nice about the pound life but hard won I'm sure, keep them fluids up!

Oh it will be back on tomorrow. And I do not recommend it as a strategy at all for weight loss

Gensola · 02/03/2022 17:47

life hope you feel better soon ♥️

I haven’t weighed today as had a big dinner last night at work. It was really salty and I know I’m bloated. Will hold off a couple of days but period also due.
Have given up booze now for Lent - only exception for our holiday in France for 5 days, but figure it’s still worth cutting it out from now until Easter even with that 5 day gap.

Mrsmadevans · 02/03/2022 17:57

Not well done on the scales dodging am proud of you l know how much you must be dying to get on the damn things Smile
Life glad you are feeling much better lovely Flowers
Gen yes keep off the SOD too , well done on deciding to give up the pooze for Lent Smile
I have been fine today busy as hell that is why Smile
Have a lovely evening everyone , baked potatoes tonight Dh is happy lol Smile

Not2bObvious · 02/03/2022 19:11

Have you got long to go before France gen?
I was so tempted to weigh myself after my bath this evening but that really & truly would have been foolish. On around 1100 so far but now it's snack time 😬
Back to the baked potatoes mrs, yummy, enjoy!

About 3.5 weeks not - can’t wait! Feel a bit guilty to be planning holidays while there is this terrible war.
Was way over my cals yesterday. Need to claw it back.

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/03/2022 06:38

Given I lived on toast yesterday the asod has rocketed. Not recording either

Not2bObvious · 03/03/2022 15:52

Sod the SOD life, how you feeling now?
Busy day today, have just over 10,000 which is good for me these days. Small bit of doms as only worked out once last week due to hols/hangovers (ugh) so it's be expected. Gorgeous day here so squeezed 2 walks in between work.
That's no time at all gen, it will fly! 5 weeks tomorrow for me, living for proper sun

Much better. Still weak and not much appetite. Gone off tea as stuff tastes funny, actually got 10800 steps as dh away so walking doggo (slowly).
Food getting better, toast, chicken and veg big soup and chicken sweet potato curry.
Still crisps and biscuits but need a boost. More fluids needed.
It will be right

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/03/2022 18:22

We are away at Easter and i can’t bloody wait. Yes there is shit all around but I need a break

A 2 mile walk is great

Mrsmadevans · 03/03/2022 20:16

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/03/2022 20:53

I definitely needed replacement salts.

Mrsmadevans · 03/03/2022 21:12

Couple of sachets of Dioralyte would sort you out in no time Life must be the blackcurrent ones for me lol

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/03/2022 21:18

True but crisps are nicer Grin

Not2bObvious · 03/03/2022 22:09

As in out of one nightmare, into another 😔

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 04/03/2022 06:08

Well remembered not yea this is Easter holiday attempt 3 since 2020.

Not2bObvious · 04/03/2022 07:48

What a mad couple of years.
First weigh in of this diet cycle, all other attempts are in the past since they obviously weren't too successful but with you lot doing so well it's my turn to try again😬
Starting at 166.8, next weigh in next Friday. If I follow my plan I've no fear about flux that's my new theory.

aunt flo arrived today so that explains why I have been grumpy and teary the past few days lol - not that I would accept such an explanation from my poor DH!! I'll stay off the scales til Monday now as it is always affected by AF and I don't need the demotivation.
Having DH colleagues over for dinner tomorrow and I am doing all the cooking as he has work - making a multicoloured tomato, goat cheese and fennel salad with mint and honey, served with sourdough baguette, then a side of salmon with polenta and roasted mushrooms & green salad and finally apples roasted in marmalade with a choice of creme fraiche or ice cream (or both!) . Was aiming for tasty but healthy! I might make some little mini almond cakes to go with the apples for the guests and DH.
Other than that my weekend consists of marking 75 exam papers. Deep joy Grin

Not2bObvious · 04/03/2022 13:27

Wow, absolutely definitely tasty & healthy, very snazzy! I tell you if I had that amount of marking to do, my guests would be handed a take away menu to choose from. It's sounds fabulous. Hopefully by tomorrow totm symptoms will have lessened and good thinking on the SOD. No need to distract yourself and possibly trigger f'it mentality.
My first alcohol free challenge evening went very well with the aid of a couple of AF drinks to distract the company from wondering why I wasn't drinking. Slept very well and managed a jog/walk and a Les Mills tone workout which was a change & challenge from bodypump. Sun is shining, got dressed nicely, makeup on, potter around M&S mask free - bliss ☺️
