l am so sorry you have this grief and depression around you , it makes just getting up each day harder and like there is nowhere to turn. Combined with your peri , which on it's own is so hard to deal with. how you are coping , especially working full time , trying to lose weight and running a family and home and helping out with family commitments l am not surprised you are feeling closed in Flowers & hugs galore lovely Smile
life well done on the food and steps of 9k are not to be sneezed at Smile
Gen hope you are having a good half term even though you had to do some work, hope your DH is fully recovered Flowers

Gensola · 26/02/2022 08:38

mrs thanks it’s been nice, busy but nice!

not he’s ok, almost back to normal now. He’s a bit stiff from being still for almost a week and has leg pains but I think as he goes back to work etc he will get his fitness back.
131.5 today despite a work do last night with steak, soufflé and wine! Hurrah 😅
I have an outreach event today 1-2 which is casting something of a blight on my Saturday. Kids who don’t get the chance to study some subjects having tasters of them in sessions so it’s actually a really good thing but also, I need a break 🤣
happier hugs x
I’ve made myself a couscous salad with sardines for lunch, will stink out the staff room alright lol - no food provided on weekends

Mrsmadevans · 26/02/2022 14:33

Life excellent steps, well done l saw you had been busy Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/02/2022 15:27

Made 10 k steps today as just taken dog for a loooong walk

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/02/2022 18:30

Chines and chocolate tonight. Bah

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/02/2022 08:16

Chinese hangover. Urgh lots of water today

Gensola · 27/02/2022 09:15

life argh I hate that feeling, last time I ate a Chinese I felt like I’d been turned into a salted fish, I was drinking water all eve and most of next day.
I feel much better today, no booze on horizon now for a good while. Planning a body pump and spin class and a lot of batch cooking 😬

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/02/2022 10:19

Aerobics and pump done. Onto
My 3rd l of water

Mrsmadevans · 27/02/2022 14:27

Weather is beautiful here Smile
A combo of tiredness and worry , it's a dangerous combo let me tell you Hmm
Anyway l am going to draw a line under it and start again tomorrow Smile
Have a lovely day everyone Smile

Gensola · 28/02/2022 07:05

Still hovering around 131.5 on scales every day, hopefully PT won’t think I’m messing her about, she was talking to another PT in the gym about clients lying to her and I’m really not lol I’m just stuck in a plateau!
Going to have my eyebrows, upper lip and chin threaded in my lunch break as I realised today the upper lip in particular is suddenly rather noticeable 😅 I swear they come from
Nowhere!
Spent a lot of yesterday batch cooking so just have to warm up dinner tonight - smoked sausage and chestnut hotpot with cavolo nero. Already looking forward to it.
Happy Monday everyone Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/02/2022 07:12

Have you done photos and measurements gen. There will be a difference

133.3 today. Have been lower but, well, weekend
Tired today. Weekends are hard work

Not2bObvious · 28/02/2022 07:25

Morning all. That was a lost weekend, back on track today.
Are you not down a bit gen? I thought you were in the 132's last week. If you were, it sounds like you're losing very well considering how light you are.
That's a nice number on a Monday life, well done.
I had thought about doing a weight in but I feel vv bloated so might hold off until a get a few days light eating done. Lent starts Wednesday, I'm going to stop alcohol until my holidays so not quite the full 42 days but still a decent stint.
Glad you're getting nice weather mrs, yes draw that line, you deserve better than to mistreat your body and put it under strain. Self parent, talk nice to yourself & don't be too strict. 3 meals, 2 snacks, plenty of water. I'm going to give that a go here

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/02/2022 13:05

No aerobic today just dog walking so might scrape 10k, tired so not being silly. Food all good though

Mrsmadevans · 28/02/2022 16:06

Gen you are doing brilliantly ! Just keep going Flowers
Not good idea to hold off on the scales , if l chase them l am so much worse so l try to avoid like the plague. l just woke up and couldn't do it today , so tired both of us for some reason, all of a sudden life seems very groundhog day Hmm
Life great job on the food SmileAnyway , never mind draw a line again and starting over again , Lent seems like as good a time as any, so Weds here we come Smile

Not2bObvious · 01/03/2022 07:33

Sabotaged potential weigh in by lowering a pint of water on waking. It was a very salty week of food last week & I fear the scales will reflect that plus the extra food/booze on my mini break won't help. Maybe Friday can be my new start weight. Can't believe it's already March, here's hoping for more springlike weather.
Bit of a headache already, and I know I've an inbox full of cranky people. Having a run of it the last while, hard work

Pancakes day today! I have made about 20 for 6 of us yesterday so l will only be having a couple 👏
Not if the SOD will put you off then best to wait till Friday.
Happy St David's day to us all 💖

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/03/2022 09:19

Dragged some aerobics out
Urgh

Mrsmadevans · 01/03/2022 15:19

Went to see William and Kate in Abergavenny market ❤️
I was thrilled 😊
They were so close l could have touched them. William is so tall and Kate is surprisingly not as skinny in RL as in pics . She was beautiful though and they were so lovely to everyone 😊

Aww that's nice mrs, I think she's so classy looking, they come across very well as a couple.
I look like the homeless today😂
Day 2 of no masks in Ireland, except for healthcare settings, and only I hate them soo much & will refuse to wear one except for healthcare settings - today I could see the attraction for wearing one!

Mrsmadevans · 01/03/2022 17:12
