10500 steps and a body pump. All calories gone

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/02/2022 07:43

Down today but a gregg breakfast is on the cards before my free one expires

Not2bObvious · 23/02/2022 08:33

It's back to reality shortly, be checking out if the hotel around 11 & then back home (and do all the washing - ugh) Had a lovely time, got plenty of walking done, very nice food but didn't overdo it. Of course have eaten well well over my 1750 every day so I won't be stepping on the sad step anytime soon. I have to plan all my meals for the rest of the week, I'm off to me besties on Friday so that will mean food & drinks so will try be v good today/tomorrow and the rest of the weekend.
Hope your scales starts to shift again gen, when you're down this end of the weight-loss numbers I believe it can slow/halt. I think a stall is your body's way of adjusting and getting used to there being less of it. So it's a good thing really, keep on keeping on.
You seem to be going great guns life, I wouldn't be letting a freebie expire! I'm sure a bacon roll won't screw anything up, it's just one meal in the day.
It's all balance mrs, good days/bad days, as long as we're conscious it won't get out of hand. Glad you've got nice weather, I've had one drenching but apart from that it's been as nice as can be expected for last Feb in the west of Ireland with storms floating around

Ah give yourself a couple of days back on track not.
Greggs was lush

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/02/2022 17:35

Tired today 157 over as had ice cream and crisps
11k steps

Not2bObvious · 23/02/2022 19:32

What's your calorie amount life?
Did a brisk walk on the treadmill so just over 10,000 between that & a short shop walk this morning. Tired now, having a bit of choc and tea. Kitchen closed, 1650 so 100 under

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/02/2022 20:29

1548 per day. At maintenance today as hunger due to carbs and empty calories

Gensola · 23/02/2022 21:26

Glad you had a great time, not

mrs it was sunny here too today but cold and blowy.
No exercise as madly preparing my lecture for tomorrow. Haven’t worked out all week, but nothing I can do about it, work has to come first sometimes. Steps crap for the same reason.
Weight dipped slightly to 131.7 today but was at 1500 cals again due to exhaustion eating so prob back up again tomorrow. Sigh. Then out for dinner with DH on Friday. How it all falls apart 🤣

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/02/2022 07:30

Ok gen stop right there.
1500 calories is not gluttony and you are still losing.
It’s the stress and lack of exercise that have you feeling low. Get today done then plan some fitness back in.
You are still doing great

Carbs spike today

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/02/2022 08:17

Tired today, no aerobics but hoping for lots of walking

Not2bObvious · 24/02/2022 08:29

Totally agree with life, 1500 is absolutely not a lot, easily still a deficit in there exercise or not. I've 3 days of work to catch up on, I completely switched off so have no idea what horrors are in my inbox - trying not to get anxious and enjoy my remaining 30 mins of off time drinking coffee. No scales yet, will try to carve time out for 30 min bodypump & 30 min treadmill. 6 weeks from tomorrow for Easter break away, reasonable number of weeks to focus on

Lots of work done, only just broke my fast so that was 18 since I last ate. Honestly if I could buy busy I'd be like a twig! Squeezed in a body pump but not the abs or cool down and the 35 on treadmill - 30 of that gentle jogging. Less than 5,000 steps but still a decent effort.

Thanks guys Smile
Lecture done and went well. Debating having a glass or two of wine to celebrate - would be happy to maintain as a result so think I will.
not well done on the ekker, I had planned to come home and do stuff after the lecture but I’m drained!

Mrsmadevans · 24/02/2022 17:32

Hello everyone Smile
Not you had a wonderful time l am so pleased for you and yesyou are right it balance Flowers
Gen glad your lecture went well Smile Not is right (she makes a lot of sense ) if your body mass is smaller then your calories needed in will be less Flowers you are doing great ! Beautiful weather here again today so uplifting Smile
Life you are right 1500 cals is not a lot , hope you got the steps in you wanted Smile
Meh l won't subject you to my scoffings but put it this way nothing is safe atm ! l can't even blame my hormones! This is true glutttony! Grin

Not2bObvious · 24/02/2022 17:42

I sure you're not the glutton you think you are mrs, I do find though my hungrier days do coincide with days after I've under-eaten. So the days I've fasted til late lunch, if I've a couple of them in a row I can get fierce munchy day 3. Do you think this might be something you're doing too?
I'm giving up on the insulin idea, quite frankly it's difficult and pretty sad to follow, I've lost weight calorie counting. Done it before, will do it again (might even try properly!) I'm kind of over the scales right now too. It's just a phase I'm sure, we all know I have a co dependent hate/hate relationship with the SOD!

I really don't know for sure Not but l do know l am a terribly emotional comfort eater and this awful Russian dominance/invasion of Ukraine is worrying for us all. I have also felt very 'what's the point in trying' as well & that is so demotivational for us , l need to get out of this way of thinking . Thank you for being so comforting , you are so kind Flowers

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/02/2022 19:19

Lots of time driving today so only 9000 steps but food on point and 200 left

Happierwithouthim · 25/02/2022 07:20

Hi all
It's been a while since I last posted, life has been busy but I've been plugging away at my coaching. Scales finally back down to the lowest this year of 193.5 this morning.
I've family wedding tomo and alcohol will be consumed so I'm sure this will shoot up again though WinkGrin

18 hours of fasting, I couldn't do it!
Determined to get a walk in today, walked mon & tues eve, I'm exhausted and my throat has come at me again so I'm trying to balance minding that & getting out.

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/02/2022 07:32

Great going happier

Not2bObvious · 25/02/2022 07:44

That's brilliant happier, have a great time at the wedding, hopefully your throat is ok.
Funny enough, I wasn't that hungry even after the 18 hours, I'd been so busy the hunger had gone off me. Ended the day just under 1500 so it helped me claw back some of the extra I'd had over my few days away. Let's face it, I have pudge stores to draw from😂
It's very concerning mrs, as a world we seem to have lurched from one nightmare to another. Comfort eating is a tough one to solve, sorry it's all stressing you, you're an empathetic person, I can see how it wouldThanks
Shopping for family & EP, which means a visit too. Speaking of stress... sort of surrounded in my family by grief & depression for quite some time. Gets in on a person when you can't walk away. Of course all exaggerated by my own peri symptoms, which have been a challenge.
How's your DH gen? Recovered ok?

Throat normally comes on me about late march or early April it's my own fault, so many late nights together
