That's class. I think my waist is down half an inch in 10 days but officially it's next Wednesday for measurements. I'm curious to see if I'm any lower than yesterday after 5 days of ok eating/movement. I'll know in an hour

Postman just came & I was still in bed Shock and I've loads to do as I've visitors tonight so I'd better getting going.

Finished my book Colleen Hoover Reminders of him on kindle it was excellent

I've exhausted Instagram & Facebook so just here and frugaleers thread left!

Mrs your poor friend, how kind of you to adjust what you ate to suit her needs

Life great going

Not glad your friend helped you

Gen enjoy having DH off

Not2bObvious · 29/01/2022 12:52

Sts as yesterday, scales flickered a bit into the 164's but settled back at 165.2 - never mind, it's going the right way. I'm down .5 on average this week.
You needed a rest happier, you'll have loads of time to prep for your visitors. Must keep an eye out for that book, love a good read

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 29/01/2022 12:54

Have fun with visitors happier

Happierwithouthim · 29/01/2022 14:08

Not there's stuff everywhere and it's lovely out so I wanna go for a walk, must get the dc to do their bit too.

Bathrooms ✅
Kitchen sink & draining board clean ✅
Brunch ✅
Used chicken medallions from Aldi I can cope with them but not turkey ones, but tbh I'd prefer just to have one less bacon one Grin

Gensola · 29/01/2022 16:22

Got such nice plants - the kitchen windowsill in particular has gone from being a mess and not nice to look at to beautiful window box with three sorts of thyme.
I have just painted my own nails for the party and waiting for them to dry is such a faff! I wish gel wasn’t so £££.
We are setting off in about an hour, I’m excited for the party now!
happier you’ve had a super productive day. I usually Hoover the house and clean the bathroom on Saturday mornings but didn’t today so will have to do that tomorrow.
I’m back to 137! No idea how that happened as I haven’t been to the party yet 😱😳

Not2bObvious · 29/01/2022 16:53

Just a fluctuation gen, no stress, maybe leave weighing again until Monday or Tuesday to allow all party to get out of your system - have a great time!
I had no idea there were chicken rashers happier, ahh sod that, a bit of lean bacon is flip all and I'm sure cheaper. I used to have the Turkey ones, 10 seconds too long and they were inedible. Bloody torture and I used to go from shop to shop to source them, bloody dope. Have a lovely night with your friends.
Done a bit of batch cooking, my future self will thank me

Mmmm Aldi choc. 67 over but 16600 steps. Mmmmmm fitted onto calories too. Winner and it was lush. I tried to savour it but nope

Happierwithouthim · 29/01/2022 18:34

Christmas decorations finally gone to attic ✅

House not swept or mopped yet guests in two hours & dinner to make in the meantime.

Have downgraded my ambitions & am putting stuff in second toilet that we don't use.

We had mega wind and a lots of little/ med branches down. A tree has come down in the cemetery where I walk the dog and they still haven’t sorted from last time.

Calmer today

Sts at 135.3

Happierwithouthim · 30/01/2022 10:05

Obstacle course so life?
Sts here too

Gensola · 30/01/2022 10:24

Party was fun but I had a little too much Prosecco - I think I had 6 or 7 glasses 😳 I feel a bit groggy today but not too bad considering! I think I’ll have to give spin a miss though and do strength and a walk for exercise, my head can’t take a spin class!
There wasn’t a lot of food at the party - I had a small bowl of chilli with a sprinkle of cheese on it and a handful of tortilla chips and that was it so my calories were actually fine as I’d deliberately had a light breakfast and lunch. 700-800 cals on booze is not sustainable though 🤣😩

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/01/2022 10:46

Sounds like a great night Gen. And Prosecco is low calorie enough

No exercise today just house work and dog walk. Need a rest day

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/01/2022 10:47

Ha jumping over things days are done

Not2bObvious · 30/01/2022 11:01

Prosecco only around 600 for that much, and you'd defo banked enough during the week. Sounds like you successfully navigated the party without mucking up your progress. It's hard though when you've been really good to accept any divergence is a fail. And don't forget you'll have a teeny bit of alcohol fear which turns into the nagging devil on your shoulder insisting you cocked up. Walk and weights sound ideal to get the good endorphins going.
I had a fair bit of junk last night, but it served to remind me it's not all that. Feeling even more determined to stick to less processed food going forward. First bit of chocolate tasted vile, but of course I found a bar I liked...and ate it all. I confessed all to mfp despite dreading it but as it turns out because my week has been so junk free I'm still way under my new calorie allowance average of 1750. Didn't weigh today but I might in a bit even though I've had breakfast & lots of fluids. Resting now as not a great sleep

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 30/01/2022 11:03

How was your gathering happier?

OP posts:
Gensola · 30/01/2022 11:58

not I 100% have the alcohol fear - I hate the niggly anxiety!

Happierwithouthim · 30/01/2022 11:59

Hi not it was good, but the teetotaller wasn't driving so both had coffee so instead of the planned wine, I'd two pints of water & some little cakes they'd brought instead.

They'd both been through sudden deaths in their family in the past and it was lovely to speak openly. We've planned another meet up next month.

Happierwithouthim · 30/01/2022 12:00

So scales not affected by alcohol Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/01/2022 13:06

Sounds lovely happier

Not2bObvious · 30/01/2022 13:37

Sounds like it was just what you needed happier, and win win on no calories wasted on booze.

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 30/01/2022 14:09

This morning then I used mfp to work out cals of pancakes per serving & added 3 bacon medallions plus maple syrup and stayed within my plan.

House being cleaner has inspired me to get going again with diy jobs & I see an IKEA order in my future Grin

Mrsmadevans · 30/01/2022 14:37

Gen your evening sounded lovely and you didn't overdo it at all well done! Smile
Happier your breakfast is the food of the Gods yummy! Smile

Bought some Berry teabags from Aldi they are very nice tbf , am trying different things to drink because of my going Caffeine free their peppermint ones are nice too , not keen on the lemon & ginger though Going to try their Roobios next ,only they had sold out of them. l find the things that sell out are usually very nice Smile
