If only the weight was so easy, 3 months James smith academy

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2022 19:52

Ooh very good life, be interested to hear what it's like.
Body pump 45 mins, jog 20 mins, walk 20 mins. Then walk around shopping centre and fast food dinner. Knackered now.
Your dinner sounds lush mrs, you must be worn out after IKEA yesterday as well

life I’m really interested to hear about it!

Had PT today, 40 mins upper body and core then 40 min spin. Weighed in at 138!

I’ve decided against the work do, it is only made bearable by vast amounts of free wine and food which I can’t have atm so what’s the point Grin

Mrsmadevans · 19/01/2022 20:25

Gen l didn't like to influence you but honestly you are doing so well ot would have been a shame to spoil your hard work , you wouldn't have been able to take your Dh anyway Smile
Great going LIfe !
Well done Not yes we were tired after it all tbh, not as young as we were Grin

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2022 20:51

Good for you gen, that's a great decision. Wow, 138 in clothes (assuming they don't let you strip off haha) you're really flying

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 20/01/2022 07:09

Good decision gen and I also think the right one. Great weigh in there

It’s calorie bloody deficit so on 1548 for now
I will report back. Day 1 138

Not2bObvious · 20/01/2022 09:08

Seeing you mention James S, I just checked the fb group - it occurred to me it had gone very quiet. Eh, yeah cause it's archived. I knew the £8.99 option was going and it was going to be three month challenges but as I never got into it, I didn't realise the changes.
Scales up following greasy salty meal and maybe cause of being bunged up to add to weights workout. I'm trying to be logical, hoping the logical will overcome the emotional.

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/01/2022 11:30

Really has it

Happierwithouthim · 20/01/2022 13:13

Not essentially what I'm doing at the moment is eating 1800 calories a day & walking 30-40 mins on average, I did walk more at weekends but for social & emotional health reasons

The 1800 is 3 meals & 1 snack & he made a menu out of the foods I like to eat, 200g veg/salad included in meal 2 & 3 which I'd never have done before & no cheese Sad

I'm sticking to it because there's accountability and I spent a fortune on it.

Happierwithouthim · 20/01/2022 13:13

Gen good rationale there

Happierwithouthim · 20/01/2022 13:13

Life well done on signing up I've a love/hate relationship with him

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/01/2022 15:08

Yes ilwym but figured it was worth a try

No cheese Shock

Not2bObvious · 20/01/2022 15:53

Yeah me too on the love/hate now I think of it. His attitude just screams of self centred man child who does whatever he wants. Maybe it's jealousy on my part! I'm too old and too broken to do any of the shit they all suggest. Not feeling well today, in bed most of the day, I think I kind of crashed after a very busy day yesterday. I think I need HRT but haven't it in me to fight for it here. Now it's more spoken about it pretty sure Irish GPs are going to be even more vigilant in not prescribing it. You're supposed to be in pain physical/mental all day long cause years ago they were too happy to medicate, now they dangerously under medicate or that's my experience

Bought the Obesity code on audiobook, I'll let you all know if there's any nuggets of wisdom.

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/01/2022 17:19

Yeah I get that but if it works I’m able to over look that

Mrsmadevans · 20/01/2022 17:24

@Not2bObvious l hope you feel much better soon lovely , there was an article about natural hormones l will see if l can find it now 💐
Been okish today
Gen our favourite tonight 😋🤣🤣

Not2bObvious · 20/01/2022 17:28

If it helps you stick to your calories it will work -it could be the right tool at the right time. I think I need someone following me with a stick to knock the food out of my hand to help me stick to my calories. Hmmm maybe I've just had an idea for a business!

Not2bObvious · 20/01/2022 17:34

Thanks very much mrs, very interesting. We pay for everything here so the cost issue isn't a concern. I need to make a visit, can't go on like this I'll end up jobless and divorced in a bed sit!

Not you are so welcome lovely Flowers
MY BF has been having dreadful problems and l encouraged her to go & see the GP . They were very good and sent her very speedily to the Gynae consultant . They can't find anything wrong & she has had lots of tests , they have put a Mirena coil in for her now, so fingers crossed bless her Smile

Not2bObvious · 20/01/2022 18:13

I hope that helps her mrs, glad they took her seriously

Hope the Baked Pots were nice mrs

I had pasta cooked by a friend - told her I was on a diet but she said she thought pasta was healthy, and I don’t want to be one of those dicks who refuses to eat a home cooked meal so I just ate it. Cals i think more like 1700 as a result so will need to claw back my deficit tomorrow and Sat somehow.

not that is outrageous that they won’t give you HRT! I have been on insane amounts of the exact same drugs for IVF for months, I have the progesterone pessaries (utrogestan) and the oestrogen pills (progynova) in boxes unopened if you want me to send them to you.
Have been asked to have 3 extra students in one of my classes out of the class of an incompetent colleague. Why not sort them out instead of overworking the rest of us?!

No workout today as was at my friends after work, must do better tomorrow!

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/01/2022 07:16

Ah your friend did try. Pasta is more calorific than people realise. It’s one meal
That’s bonkers not you can’t get hrt especially s as you say you pay for stuff

1/2 down

Not2bObvious · 21/01/2022 07:34

You did the right thing gen, and it's only a bit of a calorie overspend, you've done your strong willed bit this week by skipping tonight's session. Thank you so much for the offer, I'm guilty of making assumptions. I need to make an appointment and have the conversation instead of automatically thinking I'll be ignored. I definitely won't get the treatment I need if I never ask for it but again thanks all soo much for the kindness. The difference in how I woke up feeling today compared to yesterday is night & day.
That's a liberty isn't it, people will go out of their way not to deal with a problem but if you can take it as a compliment that you are seen as a highly competent and excellent teacher 😇
Not sure whether I'll have the oomph to do weights today, I might dress accordingly and see how the day pans out. I need to catch up on the work I missed yesterday as well.

Hi all, have had a trying week emotionally but I haven't eaten my feelings at all so that's a bonus.

Scales has gone up half a lb, but I'm putting it down to having protein powder two days so will quit that, oh ya and I didn't love the 7 grain bread that I bought in aldi so had white bread on Wed which I haven't eaten in absolute years Hmm

not get yourself to the gp and don't stop until you are happy with the treatment. being this tired in your every day life is no good.

Pasta I love but it doesn't love me bloated belly always after it

If anyone of you follow lauradorganfitness on instagram, her post of her endometritis belly today is eye opening, think teeny fit young woman and once a month, she looks like she's 5 months gone.
