lifelongfrugaleer · 17/01/2022 06:53

I might try that protein powder.
I need to forget the aisle of past Yuma
Ah sorry gen about the marking.

I can’t be bothered today at all. Will walk the dog later

Not2bObvious · 17/01/2022 07:45

Happy Monday all. Didn't manage a workout yesterday, just a walk but it was enough. Great night out (til 7pm cause everywhere closes at 8pm) and then back for home drinks till the early hours. Quite wrecked yesterday and still knackered this morning but I'm going to push through and do a 30 min body pump after the school run. Aiming to hold off eating until lunch to let the utter junky crap I ate yesterday clear my system. Scales has a bloaty boat number that I'm casually ignoring, I'll check it again after I workout and shower.
Soo bloody tired 😢

Morning everyone ☺️
Sounds like a wonderful evening Not ignore the scales of doom 💐
Life have a lovely walk with your bow wow and see how you feel later 💐
We are off to IKEA this morning to look for a log basket for MumBob and DH wants to eat a hot dog and fries he's such a child 🤣
Have a lovely day everyone 😊

Not2bObvious · 17/01/2022 14:00

I'd love an IKEA lunch seeing your update mrs, I could polish off some meatballs & mash with gusto! Hope you enjoy. Plenty of steps I'm sure.
Dragged myself through workout/brisk walk. Up 2.4lb from Friday, hopefully it'll be gone by midweek and I can continue to work off Christmas. Also I'm starting the week with the aim of better nutrition so be interesting to see how it goes. I think I only fell into the Obesity Code wormhole (still on the fence about getting the book) midweek last week.

Mrsmadevans · 17/01/2022 17:12

Dh had a hot dog and fries, l didn't have anything l was too busy looking for bargains Not Grin
Yes lots of steps today not sure how many but my back was hurting me a bit so have had 2 Paracetamols. Food has been fine thank God!

Not2bObvious · 17/01/2022 17:28

Feet up for the rest of the night mrs

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 17/01/2022 18:22

Somehow managed 10500 steps. Good ok ish. Have to be inventive with tea as can’t have planned as blocked drain means can’t drain down the sink

Mrsmadevans · 17/01/2022 18:29

Thank you Not feet upon the stool and feeling much better thank you Smile
Life that is excellent , hope that damn drain gets sorted asap for you Flowers
Jacket potatoes again tonight Hmm my Dh has a case of Groundhog day!

Not2bObvious · 18/01/2022 07:35

Great steps life, glad you're feeling better, that's a pain about the drain (poet didn't know it)
Scales still up which isn't helping my already tired and low state. Going to need to dig deep today, feel crap

I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. Unfortunately last night ate a share bag of malteasers . It was one of those days

Not2bObvious · 18/01/2022 09:02

Meh, malteasers are full of air. Glad you slept well.
Ate a good breakfast to try lift the mood, around 350 cals and comforting. Next challenge is to get up and dressed.

139.3 today, well pleased with that! Official weigh in with PT tomorrow so just have to hope it stays there and doesn’t go over 140 again. Have been going to bed earlier and getting up at 515 to exercise, it works fine as long as I do go to bed as we get up at 6 anyway so it isn’t too much of a change.

life glad you slept - you deserve those delicious malty b*stards! 😬

Horrendous day of teaching today, I’m on the go til 6pm, then bus home as DH working late and we are down to one car atm as his is in garage and thanks to Brex-shit no parts available in UK.
Made my dinner yesterday and left it in the fridge tho, butterbean and pea falafels with minted yoghurt, roasted beetroots and sweet pot mash!

Not2bObvious · 18/01/2022 14:26

Your dinner sounds fab gen, I'd say you were raging when you realised you left it behind. Fab work on getting under the 140, and good for you getting up to exercise. I've done 2 x 20 min walks for errands and that's my lot today. Once I knew my outside time was finished I changed into fresh loungewear and I'm working from the couch. I just don't have it in me today.
In an effort not to eat too much chocolate, I bought digestive biscuits. As long as I don't eat them all, maybe it's better? One step at a time.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 18/01/2022 19:06

Wonder did the digestives end up as the gateway to eating crap, snaffled crisps & a fair whack of chocolate. Great carry on for a Tuesday

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 18/01/2022 19:31

Sounds like an off day not, line under,
Good going gen. I would be vexed forgetting that lunch.

No good behaviour to report here

Gensola · 18/01/2022 19:52

not if I had digestives right now I would eat the lot! I should mark exams but I literally cannot. Watching Queer Eye having inhaled some barely warm food because I was so hungry.
Currently debating whether to go to a work dinner on Friday, partners aren’t invited so I’d be leaving DH home and I feel like at this point I’m paying a PT £40 a week to sort me out and one big blow out night could set me back.

Mrsmadevans · 18/01/2022 21:26

Gen that is some great going well done! Grin
Not brush today aside and tomorrow is another day Flowers
Been ok ish , busy doing the Car ins, tax and MOT getting the cheapest car ins is a long process but it does pay off big time , l saved about 150 pounds off it Smile

Mrsmadevans · 18/01/2022 21:27

Life glad you had a good night lovely Smile

Not2bObvious · 18/01/2022 21:50

Thanks all, I flossed/brushed teeth so no more damage would be done, and then felt like I'd virtually dusted the negativity off myself. Like I did with Christmas, I'm setting my sights ahead to my Easter break. I have a smidge under 3 months. I lost 9lb in 4 months for Christmas, so I'm sure I can shift 6-7lb by then. It's a realistic amount at the rate I lose. But regardless of numbers, it's one day at a time. I know so many people could lose twice or three times as much but I'm middle aged & weak willed so such is life.
Good woman mrs, that's a lovely saving.
I can't advise on nights out gen, I've barely recovered from my last one! I'm still 2.4 up on Saturdays weight and seeing that this morning is the root of my digestive/chocolate/crisps snaccident today. So I'll probably have set myself back another bloody day. They should use me as a cautionary tale....

Happierwithouthim · 19/01/2022 04:48

Week 2 complete yesterday down 3lbs. Protein powder doesn't win any awards for me, though this one is grand.

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/01/2022 06:39

Well done happier
Good attitude not
Hhhmmmm do you enjoy your work nights out gen. If you do go if not dont. One night out doesn’t mean you undo everything

Walk to the office today

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2022 07:22

That's excellent happier, if you get time maybe can you tell us what you're been doing with your new plan? I've 2 big bags of protein powder I keep thinking about using but nope ain't happening.
166.4 today, that's .8 down on last Wednesday. I was 165 last Saturday, I wish I could be 164 this Saturday. I've more chance I guess if I actually try and stay off the crap food & booze.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 19/01/2022 09:37

Took my start photo and measurements, going to measure once a week & progress photo. As the joke says my photo roll is now just even fuller with before pictures of me getting progressively fatter😂

Mrsmadevans · 19/01/2022 17:57
